Fun thing about the earlier Slipknot albums (before Paul went to Ibanez) was the fact that Paul used the Warwick Thumb NT 4, which is the bass that gives you that clicky sound.
Let’s Thank Paul Gray & Joey Jordison for making such a huge inspiration to millions of people around the world and his legacy will continue to live on. R.I.P PAUL GRAY & JOEY JORDISON 🤟🥁🕊❤️
It is one of my dream. Playing slipknot. I think its bass line is not easy but also making tone for this song is even much more difficult. You made it!! It is really a killer cover.
When I finally move and have more space, I want to learn to play an instrument. I'm thinking about paying bass. Is bass or guitar easier to learn? I know bass is harder on your fingers.
@@thepiratebass_ Metal is what I want to play. So bands like Slipknot, Disturbed, FFDP, SOAD, Iron Maiden (even though I know I'll never play like Steve Harris😂).
@@christiankeller3656 for metal its a choice between: ‘Easier’ riffs - finger murder (bass) Or Harder riffs - finger aggravated assault! (Guitar) Ive always found that everyone wants to be a guitarist because they want that stage front position. Fewer people want to play bass because if you’re _really_ good, nobody even knows you’re there! It’s you and the drummer creating the groove for the entire song. I can play both but I really want to get more into bass.
Is it just me or im hallucinating or is it real that is 5 strings? I got hallucinated cuz of the strings my mind was like "is that 4 strings or 5 strings?"

Dude... I think Paul Gray would be proud!!
That's big words, man... Thank you! 🤘
the tone… this gave me chest hair. Dear god
Haha that's how it has to be!

Exactly man warwick is the tone for metal or other heavier genres
your tone is amazing! this is probably my favourite song off the self titled album, it’s great to see someone do it glory 🔥🔥
I'm glad you like it dude! 🤘😊

this actually looks pretty simple. nice cover bro
Sounds monstrous! 🤘🔥

Thanks!
I just found this cover today, and I'm getting a bass for Christmas. Can't fucking wait to open that beautiful shit
Love the middle finger!!!
that tone can absolutely kill , how'd u get it like that?
this is so brutal bro, i love it, do you have the bass cover of vermilion?
Thank you! I don't have it, but maybe one day 😋
(sic)!
Warwick ❤
Killer tone! What's the tuning?
dude, I don't subscribe to many channels. But well fucking earned! \m/
May I ask what bass this is? Or what sort of sound modification device are you using for this? The tone is incredible
When I finally move and have more space, I want to learn to play an instrument. I'm thinking about paying bass. Is bass or guitar easier to learn? I know bass is harder on your fingers.
Depending on what type of music you play or how you want to play, but obviously I recommend the bass haha

I put this in an app to isolate the bass... it detected as a fucking guitar lol
File a complaint with the creators of that app hahaha
@@thepiratebass_ I just did hahaha
how did you get that tone
I use the BG-bass plugin by JST among other things 🤘
Sick cover dude, what string gauge are you using that B string looks fat !
Tone settings please🙏
Are u using darkglass?
Slipknot toca con bajo 5 cuerdas?
Así es es tema original?
Paul gray tocaba con 4 cuerdas, en drop B. Mi bajo tiene 5 cuerdas y la nota más grave es la B, con lo que se puede tocar perfectamente. 😉👍

B E A D?
B A D G?
O cuál otra afinación utiliza esta banda?
Le agradezco inmensamente su tiempo y la aclaración.

yo how to get that tone
what tuning?
B E A D G

how did you get that insanely nasty tone man
Think I could do this no pick?
you could probably play it with no pick if you are good at fingerstyle but you probably won’t get the same tone

Paul played a 4 and downed it to B F# B E - naturally it'd be a little different. Close your eyes though it sounds the same 😂🤘
The song is absolutely garbage but at least the bass has the tone of a first act from Walmart in 2003
Fym garbage dawg? Explain why
How did you get the tone
