Remnant 2 added new corrupt version of already existing weapons with different mods and sometimes different weapon profiles. You need 10 corrupt shards per weapon. These shards come from aberrations which spawn after being in combat with any regular mob for some time, sometimes. Aberrations also drop newly added mutators that have some interesting effects. Also here's how to duplicate items in remnant 2

We need an updated version of this after the DLC release.
The boss at approx 4min has trapper as one of the affixes, so every time you dodge roll a trap spawns under you. So don't dodgeroll on those bosses.
I got a trapper on freaking Kueala! That was pure evil RNG.
If u take a few steps after a dodge the trap won't hurt you. Also if you spam dodge it won't hurt you until the last one so just take a few steps. Had to fight on kaeula also lol was super annoying till I figured it out
He had to dodge roll because of the orbital strikes falling on him. Trapper on that enemy is really deadly, even worse if they trapper + shocking.
I went to the N'erud starting point and headed left. Killed everything and spawned a pack, this then spawned an abomination. Total time was about 5 min per shard as I would die, respawn at the starting point and do it all again. An abomination tended to spawn in the same spot after each death. That got me all 5 weapons. Now I'm re-farming the original weapons - Merciless was a must as I don't like the corrupted version.
From what I understand , new minibosses are suppoused to be super rare spawn at base with really showing only on high difficulty level . Thats why they are so rough . Event just made them spawn on lower level setups .
they gotta dial up the drop rate for the shards then. farming them the legit way will become a chore once the spawn rate goes down.
They aren't really that hard on nightmare. There are a few mutator combos that are a pain in the ass to deal with, but running any high damage build crushes them.
I find that Lv 10 engineer with flamethrower combined with Lv 10 Tamer makes quick work of them, and if you are unfortunately taken down the dog will rev you
Thanks for telling the condition for the aberration spawns. This is punishment tbh, but they made it too grindy to do while playing normally
Ive been getting them consistently on Nerud, especially if you get the Putrid Domain.
Fight your way to the checkpoint before the boss room and from there you can go back to the room before. If the bass cannon doesnt play after a minute or two, kill the last guy and reload the area.
about Spirit healer can i still get this from farming or was it just event thing? also will it matter where you farm for mods?
N’rud timeless waste area I had 5 spawn in one run through. I still haven’t completed my first campaign yet and the scrap I got from farming helped me upgrade all my weapons in no time.
Do you get all new aberrations to be able to spawn by simply staying at Root Nexus, or do you have to go to different worlds to collect all new mutators?

Yesss , My friend stood there as I go kill small enemies and they kept spawning like crazy I think we got 7 bosses there
What exactly you do with that method? You damage the root nexus itself at all?

- Yaesha Root Nexu in Veteran / Nightmare / Apocalypse
- Put the Nexus Midlife (there will be 3 waves, the 3rd one is the elite "Root Horror"), kill it and then don't attack the Nexus anymore.
- Approximately every minute, the Nexus will spawn elites or aberrations.
What exactly is ur process to frame there?
I really can't figure out if it is a time-based thing or not....
I keep hearing that it's going to stay in after the event, But that it will just decrease the rarity in half.
Honestly doesn't seem too bad because on apocalypse they are spawning like crazy.
Is it even possible to get corrupted shards anymore ? I barely got to play last week as I was out of town and only managed to get 7 shards so far. disclaimer, I still havent beat the game. Im working on getting my 3rd segment and collecting the weapons that have corrupted versions.
I did gilded chambers got to the red prince checkpoint ran back cleared mobs halfway thru always encountered a knight or full red enemy
It's a gong for the mobs, but a chime for the Elites and a Aberrations.
does the difficulty really matter? also can I just keep like 10 guys alive and tank them all?
The shield bots AI breaks if you get behind it keeps you in combat good for afking.
Some of these new bosses are hilariously easy to beat. The Plague Suicider does just that when you get close enough and back away. The Flyer just needs to grab you and start the button mash minigame and once you escape the boss gets one-shotted 😂
Some of the afflicxes though . The spinning light square one can absolutely one shot you if you go melee range . Even on low difficulty
@@shadowkhan422 The modifiers are the only dangers really. The bosses still function like the same normal enemies we've killed a million times.

I have a question why are my dmg numbers lower than other players build when I have the same pieces ? I just started about 2 wks ago
I've got max lvl archetypes which play a roll in damage also rune fragments that go in relics

Just do it on the lowest difficulty. They spawn just as fast. Also you don't have all the mutators

I do losom on morrow so I get both corrupt shard and clc and once i kill the aberration in the shack i reroll again
Yeah I've gotten 4 weapons already, been farming losome on apocalypse and every now and the the boss just spawns on me and insta kills me lol

the event went away so I think it's no longer the strat. I'm not sure on their spawn requirements now.
I turned in 10 shards for Corrupted Rune Pistol. Took my shards. No weapon. Kinda hate to farm them knowing Incan turn then in and lose them for no gain.
Does anybody know if I can get new mutators when this event is over as well?
I got trapper and thick skin on the new sunken witch boss. My friend and I tried for hours with our best attempt taking her to ~75%. I had to reroll😢
Here's hoping they don't patch this out before I can go do my Apocalypse attempt ...

Does the root nexus farm still work?
I mean to be fair cuz theres only a few corrupt weapons why would they make them drop more then one
I just went to level up some classes at The Hatchery in Survivor and they kept spawning consistently. Sometimes 2 per run.
There was also a time when something went wrong: I stayed afk at checkpoint before the boss room (already killed it) and then elites started spawning in the room. 2/3 of the time it was a new aberration. Couldn't reproduce it again after teleporting.
Need to try this scrap glitch now.

Anyone still got shard to duplicate for PS5. Was legit on vacation when this dropped and now they barely spawn even on apocalypse
ive been doing this for hours and have had 1 spawn, im so confused and frustraited on how to do this consistently. I'm sure im doing ir correctly.
they nerfed the spawn rates since the event ended
now lets hope for some proper elemental weapons (both range and melee) in the coming DLCs
can't wait for a dlc tbh, hoping for more diversity in builds that are fun and good to use.

Spirit healer is bugged and is making engineer turrets do like 10k a shot on the flame turret.

@@OhDough 10k Damage with the right build: Flame Engineer Primary, Attack Handler Secondary. Use Silver Ribbon Amulet. Fire Stone, Stone of Balance, Burden of the Rebel, Burden of the Stargazer rings. Relic Fragments would be Elemental Damage, Skill Damage, and Skill Cooldown. Make sure your primary gun has on Spirit Healer. Activate your prime perk on the Turret and the Attack dogs ability for more damage and you’ll see the results. It’s 10k on the high end, with enemies that resist fire still taking 4-5k all these damage numbers are on Apoc.
did some testing. ingenuity & opportunist increase damage a decent bit on the turret with spirit healing being the big ticket.
update, hitting for almost 15k now

Dang that’s dumb I thought they said it would be available after the even just spawn less frequent but I’ve been doing nightmare and haven’t seen a single one I’ll try apocalypse next

@@brandong.1337 I managed to get 1 on nightmare to show up in Kaulas rest in yaesha then did the duplicate glitch to get the rest all you need is 1 crystal and a friend and you can duplicate it’s so easy lol
i think the drop rates are fine. People feel like they need to get all the weapons in day because they make videos on the content but i feel like for regular people it gives them somethinng else to work towards while waiting for the dlc
uhh, people probably don't want to spend 12 hours farming for the shards LMAO. 2 weapons are bugged and most of them are kinda meh in the first place.
I got like 6 in an hour playing on nightmare and my friend got 12 on easiest so I'd say doing easy mode is the best for them.

How was that crazy for nightmare? You beat him in like 4 shots... :/ That's pretty standard with a higher damage build like yours. If you had anything less, it would be like what any normal player would have to deal with on nightmare... Not sure how it's crazy that they only drop one corrupted shard either; you literally only get one lumenite too--it's always been this way--and arguably they're of a lesser value. I think you've never played many souls-like games before, although that's not to say that the game doesn't have it's fine-tuning issues.
Hearing someone get annoyed with r&g makese realized that micro transactions are implemented solely cause of people being annoyed with r&g and other ways of earning gear and it's honestly pretty sad
nah, RNG isn't bad but it can be overdone like crazy. NA games usually don't sell items for real money in games. They tend to stick with cosmetics.

Has to be a special abberation. The ones that have set spawn locations don't count for some reason

Abberations only the spawn parameters changed since the event ended. So they spawn less often and probably only on highee difficulties

I've had zero issue at all getting them to spawn on any difficulty, and I've had no issue really beating them.
Also just for the record, the content and new weapons will be there forever, they are just boosted during this event window. Overall this isn't that bad especially with the RNG. And you can get the original weapon back by beating the bosses or finding it, so you can have both at the same time
They are as far as its explained after haloween the spawn rate will be drastically declined to 25% on nughtmare as of right now ots every difficulty. Could be wrong

I play in NM and aberrations spawn at the rate of elites on every map.
I cant get them to spawn and im on apoc wtf.

What a clueless video about the event:)) This is what i don't like about big "influencers". They simply stop giving their interest and put whatever videos because they will be watched. The event is not RNG, its not time based and its not unpredictable. You can farm them pretty easy in places like Cotton Klin or Yaesha root nexus, i did them in cotton klin ua-cam.com/video/9pfsaCJQs8g/v-deo.html . This is a permanent mechanic and the corrupted shard bosses will spawn at a very high rate, close to 100% instead of an elite, after the 31th their spawn rate will depend on difficulty. You can only carry 10 shards, there are 5 corrupted versions of guns(you need the guns as well to get them) and 12 new mutators(some are nice, most are meh).
Bottomfeeder is legit underrated. Use it on sporebloom or sniper with HuGs. Huntershroud skill for hunter, and Bulletstorm for gunslinger. You fully auto sniper, sporebloom for insane amounts of damage. On dummy tests i can get 150k damage in that 5 second effect.
