Would this work against Nano Laminate Armor I wonder... It's effectively anti armor rounds and Nano Laminate armor's biggest weakness most of the time is that ballistic weapons are very effective. IBO doesn't really have sniper rifles but something like this should be able to take down nano laminate armor
If nanolaminate can deflect beams, what is beam exactly in IBO? From the MA episodes it treats beam as something that comes out of light source since it can be deflected like shooting laser to a mirror. Whereas in the UC it was akin to plasma or something. It didn't blow upon impact but rather melts through the armor and blowing up things inside due to super high heat the beam carries. Now I wonder if the UC beam can defeat nanolaminate or not, since its properties is way different.
@@Panzergruppe22 If we go by the Logic Established in the Build Divers Battlelogue. As long as it shoots any kind of beam, Nanolaminate armor will deflect it. Kyoya used the Strike Freedom and the only time his beam weapons did anything was when he grabbed one of the Strike Freedom's Dragoons and stabbed it right onto Barbatos Lupus Rex's shoulder but all that did was just remove the shoulder armor, not harm the actual gundam frame
Depends on how thick the NL Coating is. NL works by diverting energy away from the main armor, but it degrades over use. Its very effective against beams bc beam shots don't have momentum so they're deflected easily. Kinetic attacks have momentum behind the attack so it's harder for the NL to deflect.
