      I am on a vegan diet. But, I love kimchi. I am very spicy; as a matter of fact, the spicier the better! I am anxious to try this recipe, as I have never had water kimchi. My nationality is a Black American. Who says Black people don’t love kimchi. And I am definitely a fan of yours. Love ya!!!!

    Absolutely fascinated by this...I've never heard of it. My ex used to make delicious non-vegan kimchi and just a few weeks ago I made your mom's other recipe (for traditional kimchi). I like my kimchi super sour so I'm waiting until next week to eat it, but once this batch is gone I'll have to try this version next!!

    What is the point of the flour in the water? Like what does it do? I have celiac disease so I have to make everything gluten free and knowing why flour is in a thing can help me find a alternative. Pretty please.

    I grew up eating sourkraut which is basically plain just made with salt kimchi (cabbage, salt, water and that s it). Kimchi is better to me since at least the most common kimchi is pretty much flavourful sourkraut😂😂 it s just great

    Would it affect the fermentation negatively if I wanted to use real sugar instead of an artificial one?

    • @lenisemicolon
      @lenisemicolon 3 роки тому +1

      I seriously doubt it! I’m kinda surprised the artificial sugar even works for this purpose. When I used to make kombucha it’s required a disturbing amount of sugar, curious to try it with 0 calorie sweetener instead.

    Dear Rose, I love your recipes and I love veganism so I am hoping you will help me and those of us that fail at veganism. I have some health issues because I had no clue about how I needed vitamin b and how sometimes our bodies don't absorb nutrients efficiently. One thing my doctor explained to me was regarding protein in beans. Our bodies can't, won't absorb that protein unless we pair it with rice , reason being is that protein from beans is not a complete protein. Just wondering if u would do a video on stuff like thus so more vegans don't fail and even better stay healthy. Not sure what else to pair the beans with for optimal absorption but I will research. I just know that if you do a video it will be legitimate and trustworthy.
