This guy is the ideal version of perfectionism, never settles for “it works” Keep it up man
I’m trying!! Thanks man!!
I am 15 and with the help of your videos i just rebuilt the r150f 5 speed transmission in my 2000 4runner
That is awesome!!
Wise beyond your years my man...always enjoy your tricks of the trade!! 🛠
Seriously impressive young man! Innovative, skilled and talented. Even more, he has good communication skills and comes across as patient and kind. Most importantly, he appears to be a loving, family-centered man. He strikes me, if I were guessing, to be a devoted Christian. Anyway, that’s my impression. Awesome channel!!! 👍🏼
Bro
You have MAD skills
Been watching for a long time
Your a great fab man and the do it right attitude is FANTASTIC 👍👍
You have a awesome mind! I enjoy your videos. No short cuts and your attention to detail far exceeds more than anything. Can't wait to see the finished product. 👍👍
I’m amazing how talented all you brothers are. Keep it up. Glad to see a fellow Washington Kei truck owner. Love the content
This video was great. I've always wondered if dropping the dif was super challenging thing but you clearly showed how you did it and it was easy enough. That and the slot to fix the camber angle is simple and brilliant.
You got some mad baking skills, your wife must be so happy when you're helping in the kitchen lol. Great job once again.
Color me impressed. Coming up with the adjustable camber was impressive in and of itself, but taking all that off after you got it on there for sandblasting and powder coat took some real dedication to your craft.
Not sure what I'm more jealous of. Your mini truck or all the tools you have. I can't wait to have a shop like yours one day! And a mini truck as well. Awesome video!
It is so great to have the ability and talent to make things for your own needs. I love doing that. Thumbs Up!
Nice job Austin! attention to detail is amazing.
Always enjoy watching...looking forward to seeing what's next. 😎👍
next level wrenching ! Good times for sure. Thanks Austin
Damn Austin, looks great! Can’t wait to get some big snow finally.
Awesome build Austin.. it’s coming along nicely…👍🏽👍🏽
Going to get me a new fangled t-shirt with “ what would Austin do “ on the front and on the back “ do it right “ 👍😎
Thats a merch right there
Nice too see someone do something that isn't half ass! Great work as always! Thumbs up! 👍
Wow. Dude, you make this look easy. But that is a lot of hard work. Keep it up. Amazing
The camber adjustment solution was original and 💯 effective. Amazing job.
It's gonna be a awesome truck after the Austin treatment 👌 mint
Goddam right !
your attention to detail is amazing. Great looking build so far! I have a 96 mitsubishi minicab and my camber is opposite what yours was. positive as heck. The setup on the minicab is different also in the front suspention. The only way I can see getting it back to zero is to actually pull off the LCA and weld some square tubing to extend the LCA longer and drill out a new mounting hole.
It got cold and crappy out and I dont have a heated garage and the minicab is my winter truck so it will just have to do for now until the weather breaks this spring.
Another great video, great work!
Greetings from Germany
Great video!! Glad u got those springs on:) I ended up taking my carry to alignment shop and used camber bolts to get it dialed in.. really did make a big difference from me using the string method.. I've actually been daily driving mine now.. 😅 wish I had ur mad fab skills tho.. truly great work ur doing...
Thanks! I can’t use camber bolts because of how the struts sits inside the knuckle!
I “re-arced” my rears by adding a leaf from a set of old trailer springs my buddy had in his possibles pile. And made new shackle out of a a couple pieces of channel. the give a very solid web between the Shackle leaves so they can’t deflect sideways.
Unbelievable work.
Wow! Wish I was your buddy, I'd stay in that shop with you!😄
It's a privelage to watch u work and fabrication on projects. Lil truck going to be perfect for so many tasks. Reliable and looks sweet. Great vid.
Thanks! Yes it’s going to be a handy truck for sure!!
You are one smart man and you got some patience.
Dang! Build is Awesome again!
Great video! I picked up some suspension tips that I'll use on my Daihatsu Hijet mini truck.
Many guys have worthless dads who don't teach them much. Your videos teach guys the things they need to do guy things. Thanks.
Good deal! Thanks!!
Great job man.
Austin you need a proper powder coating oven and powder coating rack with air filters mate 👌
Dude! Market this kit! 💪🏼
Great job love everything you have done tooth truck!
This thing is turning out frickin sweet
Well done sir,, you earned yourself another subscriber. Keep up the good work

Another excellent video 🥳👍🏻😁😎
Great job once again
Thanks again!
Looks great.

Austin, what is your background for being this good in welding, metal fab, painting etc. ? You got some serious skill bro. Greetings from Quebec
Thanks!! I just have taught myself!!
Incredible, thanks for the answer !
@@austinniemela what? that’s even more impressive
I was thinking solid axle 3 link for the front. But this is great
Hell yeah lift that bad boy truck
A day late but im still here ... never miss
My favorite Kei truck on YT
Damn it, the mad skills you have man. Why don’t I have a friend like you near me here in Atlanta? Why do I feel like owe you are beer and steak? 💯
Looking good. Nice up grades to the frontend. Where's the snow. I want to see it action mode.
Damn i love this build and channel!!! Awesome job Austin! Maybe next time round of the corners for parts like the diff lowering support, it will make them look cleaner. Also the leaf spring rear hangers if you modify them or replace it, round of the corners.
Thanks! I usually do round the corners!
@@austinniemela Amazing Work!
You sir are a Master Fabricator .
Thanks!!
True
can I buy this kit!! You did awesome, great vid
This is the type of guy i want to work with
Hey, can you add a link for the springs?? Great tips!! THANKS
Did you consider making any steering connections to compensate for the dropped differential and suspension?
hey there! watched your mini series.... i did something similar for the front end on my 05 Carry. (power steering) I added 1 1/2" blocks and the driveshaft is fine. I have run into steering issues. was there anything you ran into in relation to the steering....? I understand you do not have power steering. I replaced the springs, added the 2" tower blocks and then added the 1.5" spacer blocks on the cross member on the front end. Thanks for the content!!
Hey Austin, can you back it in and make the lift work?
Nice job man, I just bought a 97’ Suzuki Carry and your videos on yours have helped a lot. What brand springs did you use??
Sweet! I’m not sure what brand the springs are, I got them second hand!
Are those a heavier ply tire on there. I've seen some Polaris rangers loaded down with a small job box on it and they go through tires like crazy.
Awesome
I love those wheels+tire setup. What wheels are those?
Hey, Austin, I like those spring compressors! Can you give a link to them? Those would work well on the back of my '04 Chevy Trailblazer EXT!
They work great!! I added a link to the description!
Bro I ain’t gonna lie.... when you pulled that lift kit off to powder coat it, I was all like “as heck naw, I woulda just spray painted that” 🤣
What did the wheels originally come off of or fit looking for wheels for my carry now
Can you post a link to the springs that you used? I have a similar build that I will be starting on soon.
I am curios on your bolt in your shock lift what is it bolted to so I can do this mine has a 6 inch lift and the top of the tire stick out and that little trick would help alot I have the spacers on top just can't figure out what your bolt in the middle is attached to
How did you find the right bushings for the steering? I also need the bushings for the front differential?
What tire size you using in this? Kinda having a project too? Thanks for the inspiration...😁
Your running out of room buddy, going to need to build on to the shop. 👍
Yeah I do need to!
Hello sir im impressed what you are doing im a fan of yours i have a favor for tuturial in how to make a diy coil spring metal spacer for multi cab.tia
Have you taken it off road by chance to see the improvements?
Hey Austin, where did u find those wheels and tires? Also are you in Eastern WA?
Austin, would you mind adding links to where you’re finding the parts? Specially the shocks. I’m having a difficult time finding parts for my 97 Suzuki D42T. TIA
Check out G&R imports! They have a bunch of parts
sorry if I missed it somewhere, but what and where did you get these springs from?
Where did you order the progressive rate springs from
Ive been told 1 1/2inches is enough-not perfect or for everyone but it works 😂
What rims and tires did you put on your carrier Suzuki ?
what's the size of rim and tire you are using , thanks.
Hey Austin do you plan on painting this unit a custom paint job maybe some raptor liner?
Undecided at the moment
Quick question. I’ve been looking at dropping the front differential crossmember to clean up the angles on my Hijet. It looks to me that I would need to extend the steering between the cab and the; rack. Did you have any trouble?
I didn’t drop my steering at all and it works perfect!
Hello, Hope your injuries are healing. Did someone add those manual hub lockers or were they factory?
Thanks! Yes they are factory hubs
Austin, are you saying the lift arms are too long because you are trying to put the lift arm PADS on your vehicle lift points? Your lift is safe to put the OUTER steel arm on the lift points. Won't hurt a thing. The arms hold the inner sleeve of the lift arm and do all the lifting anyway it's safe to use just the outer arm to lift your vehicle is what I am trying to say.
sir what is the size of your tires?
How does it drive after all the work? Your skills amaze me man. You could sell a lift kit that you built if you really wanted to haha keep it up man shout out from idaho
The bumpers to
Thanks!! Just a rip around the field the new springs feel great!!
Do you know how I can make some more power out of my 1990 f150 with the 5.0 302 it’s already got some shorty headers on it
Are you sure you need more power, and not just more gear? My 89 Big Bronco, with the 351, had 2.9# somethings in it. ford was trying to get better fleet economy for the trucks, and since most folks didn’t haul much, or pull heavy loads in the big Broncos they shipped with 2.9#, and 3.1# something gears in eh differentials. My engine was making decent power, but the truck would coast down 4% grades at 45-mph in first gear with no throttle. The 3.7 gear sets made a huge difference in how much power it felt like it had.
What is the size of rim and tires?
Where did you learn all this stuff? What's your background? Jack of all trades for sure man!
He is a genius.
Literally UA-cam and google taught me
Yo Austin are you gonna paint it candy red to match the truck that will be radd
Do it for the boys
How is the ride with the new springs?
Rides great actually!!
great show...is Cameron your brother?
Yes he is!!
wow
Why didn’t you upgrade the shocks?
They don’t make an upgrade
Where did u get plow frame
I'm getting a 95 Suzuki carry today would like to put a plow on it that I have laying around
On a side note how are those injuries healing ???
I’m feeling great! Thanks for asking!!
👍🏼
I wish I have your skills, or my next door neighbor, I would have you build me a front and rear bumper for my Tacoma..
luar biasa ...bisa konsultasi dengan anda bagaimana cara memindahkan kap pick up carri dari casisi dan menambahkan ketinggian serta besar roda...sesuai video ??
Niemelä Finland ?
👍👍👍👍😊😊
