- Guide on how to remove the outer & inner rear tail light assembly from a Seat Leon Mk3 (5F), models 2013-2019.
The video is shown on a 5-door hatchback model, but the process is similar for 3-door models. From here you can change the bulbs, fix plugs or wiring etc.
Tools used:
-8mm Socket: amzn.to/2NWrfON

One of the best vídeos i have seen so far ,explaning anything relating to dismantle something (ligths, bumpers….
Thank you very helpfull
Thanks, video super useful, helped me replace my husbands smashed rear light (one on car side not in boot) however, it's not working 😢 do you know what I may have done wrong? I'm not sure if the electrical connector went back in the same way as it came out, but it seems like a strong connection. It's a brand new valeo rear car light so should be working.
For the outer light, do you have to replace the entire structure? Or can you remove the screws on the plastic casing to get access to change the bulbs?
Thank you 🙏🏼
Thanks for this, really useful. I am trying to find the part number for the right rear light, the one with the indicator built in. All the ones I see on line have a bulb brake light, but mine is like yours, LED brake light. Would you know the part number for this?
Really useful video, though I wish I’d realised you don’t need to take out the whole light assembly to change the bulbs on the inner lights.
Did you manage to remove the water from the outer light at all? Mine has this issue and would rather heat the light and seal any gaps rather than purchase a new unit.
Hello,
I Can see that you have some water/moist inside the outer lamps. Is this normal? I have this as well on my car.
On both sides of the car.
Yes, it seems to be quite a common problem with these lights.
Any tips on getting the outter rear light cluster back on? I'm not sure I've got the grometts to pop back in, but I don't want to push hard on the rear corner of the light and crack it?
We found adding some grease to the metal ball helps it slide/locate in to the grommet.
Thanks@@SelectVehicleSpares
Y cuál modelo se le puede poner
This video has helped greatly as my indicator on the dash came on to tell me my rear brake light was defective. Does anybody or do you know what type of bulb it is please 👍🏽👍🏽🤔🤔
On the vehicle in the video the rear brake lights are the LED type, which means a full light unit replacement unfortunately.
@@SelectVehicleSpares do you know the part number for this, right hand drivers side for UK model?
How do you remove this if the screw has been rounded off?
Which screw are you referring to?
Bro i took out okay how i can change the led light i wanna know.....
As far as we know, the LED part is built in to the lamp unit.
@@SelectVehicleSpares no sense i need 500 dollar for 1 unit selling the car bro
