Thanks for help, this video made my washer work about half a year by doing this reset. But I need to do it every week when I use my Samsung washer. It's always happened. Sometimes I need to try a couple times to make it power on. Do you have any suggestions to permanently fix this issue? Changing the control board? Thanks
Thanks for sharing this, your control board may be in its early stages of failure and may need to be replaced. The second common cause for these symptoms is the actual control panel on the face/front portion of washer with all the buttons on it is in its early stages of failure. Keep us posted. 😎👍
Thanks for suggestions. I brought this Samsung washer WF45R6100AW only for 2-3 years. It's this issue after 1 year warranty expired. I'm thinking of changing the control board. Thanks for help ☺️
Any chance you know how to release the latch that opens addwash door ? Your machine in video is same as mine. I can open main door but the little door won’t spring open.

Hi Mike It didn’t work on mine. But when I plugged it it makes the sound’s it normally makes but it won’t do anything…I do hear a clicking sound inside the panel
Is this procedure specific to an individual machine? I have a Flexwash unit that will not power on at all. A couple weeks ago, the electricity flickered off-on-off-on, and the following morning the washer wouldn't turn on, it's dead...I think possibly, the power flickering the night before, caused it. I noticed the electrical breaker was flipped. I reset the breaker, everything else on that breaker circuit is fine, but the washer. I tried a different electrical outlet but no luck. I'm guessing either the noise filter or the power board is toast.
Thanks for watching, it’s a standard reset procedure for all manufactured washers. Since it’s not working for your washer, it’s likely that the flickering of power hurt your machine. Power surges can cause havoc on the internal electronics and it’s likely that your washer will need a new control board. Keep us posted. 🧰

AMAZING!!! Mine’s a different model, I’m in the UK, but it looks somewhat similar. Did exactly what you said, and we’re back on! Brilliant. Thought it was dead. 😩🤣 Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
I found a way to prevent the need to reset the washer by simply putting a power surge protector on the outlet and plugging the washer into the surge protector. It seems to filter the electric surges enough to keep the washer from needing to be reset. It should work, but even if it doesn't it is cheap insurance to keep the circuit board safe from a large power surge. My 2 cents.
You saved my day my washing machine was locked and I couldn’t unlock I tried doing this by switching off and pressing the power and pause button for 5 secs and then turned it on I was able to unlock the washing machine

This has worked before, Today it did't work so I went farther , Checked the fuse and it was good. After doing the reset a few times I had to walk away. Come back 1/2 hour are so later, hit the on botton and it started. Had to unplug to but all back together, and now it will not work. Have tried the reset multible times and it will not start. What do you think?
Ok, is there a time frame it can take after the reset? After taking the time to post...I went back in and.....it started. By the way this has came up after a power outage. But both times it has worked it was after a delay. First time was over 24 hours. This time was after resetting all mourning. Must have tried it 20 times. Don't understand the delay. Lets hope we don't have any more power outages.
Good morning, welcome to the DIY Raptor Club. We are happy you came across the video as well. Sounds like you’re back up and running, enjoy your weekend, thanks again David. 😎👍🔧🔩
Thanks for watching, have you performed this reset procedure? If so, we recommend performing this reset procedure a second and third time to see if that helps reconfigure your system. Still no luck, it’s likely that you have a faulty control board that will need to be replaced.

Worked like a champ- appreciate the simple fix-you rock

Hope all is well, thanks for watching.
Thanks for help ☺️

so what will cause this? Hope this doesn't mean of a deeper problem
Thanks for watching, most common causes are power outage or power surge.
😎👍
Does this work on all Samsung washers? Or just this model?
@@BeautifullyCourt
Good morning ☕️
This is a standard reset for all Samsung washing machines. 😁👍🧰
Thank you for your helpful vid. Is there a reason why it just stop responding?
Thanks for watching, it can be as simple as a brief power-outage.
Omg it worked! Thank you! 😮😮

Very cool, thanks for writing us. ☕️🧰
Does it work for the Dryer as well?
I tried this life hack and it worked thank you
AWESOME!!! And great job Brenda making it a DIY project. Enjoy that rewarding feeling and the cash you saved.

Hey Sam, so happy to help. Thanks for watching. 👍
Will this also work on a top loader Samsung washer?
AMAZING!!! Mine’s a different model, I’m in the UK, but it looks somewhat similar. Did exactly what you said, and we’re back on! Brilliant. Thought it was dead. 😩🤣
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
Very cool, we really appreciate you sharing this. Hopefully many stress free days ahead for you.
😎👍
I found a way to prevent the need to reset the washer by simply putting a power surge protector on the outlet and plugging the washer into the surge protector. It seems to filter the electric surges enough to keep the washer from needing to be reset. It should work, but even if it doesn't it is cheap insurance to keep the circuit board safe from a large power surge. My 2 cents.

Thanks mate! It really worked.

Hi. My samsung washing machine like this one has issue. It cant run and display only “nt 18” so do you know what wrong with it
Thanks for watching, have you performed this reset procedure? If so, we recommend performing this reset procedure a second and third time to see if that helps reconfigure your system.
Still no luck, it’s likely that you have a faulty control board that will need to be replaced.
@@DIYwithMichaelBorders hi. Do you how to reset it?
