Personality, I still love the PowerTac M5-G2. I think M5-G2 is better in every ways. The only advantage of this flashlight is smaller.

I love Powertac but the Klarus XT1A similar features and specs in 14500 platform as well but $50 bucks and long term proven..

Hello, and thank you for your question. The quick answer is that all Powertac flashlights are undervalued, and you will likely see an industry increase of approximately 30% due to what is happening in the world right now. If something is priced low, it is either junk, or the person selling it is making nearly nothing and likely won't be in business soon. Any flashlight is better than no flashlight, but finding the right one is essential. That being said, the Cadet is too small and bulky to fit "everyone's hands" correctly, and while the M5 is a great light, it's too big to fit in "everyone's hands" because of its battery. On the other hand, the WOFT Light is "just right" between them both and is more narrow with our AA-sized battery. The Cadet and M5 are programmed for a Law Enforcement application and are not optimized for civilian use. The WOFT Flashlight is programmed differently for self-defense, is sized perfectly, and has options not found anywhere else. All other flashlights are good and do the job (especially if you are okay with carrying a larger light) but are collectively inferior. We designed this light to complement our World-Class Scenario, force-on-force training; you should sign up for a course and see for yourself. We hope that answers your question. Best regards.

@@woft1678 I am looking for a smaller tactical light for quite a while. I think 14500 would be ideal. All the 18650 are to big for all day pocket carry at least for me. The Cadet is to short for my hand. The length should be around 11cm so the 108,6cm of the WOFT would be ok BUT the head diameter is the same as your M5 and the body is just 1,5 mm thinner. That is not enough to make a difference. A 19mm diameter is doable and the head should be smaller also. And for emergency situations it would be good if it would run on regular AA also. Of course with lower lumen output. So i think 130$ is still to much especially if it dont fulfill my criteria.
