      @@IDidntAskU Not true. The vaccine would have almost definitely prevented all of this, according to the two major US OBGYN organizations...
      The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), the two leading organizations representing specialists in obstetric care, recommend that all pregnant individuals be vaccinated against COVID-19. The organizations’ recommendations in support of vaccination during pregnancy reflect evidence demonstrating the safe use of the COVID-19 vaccines during pregnancy from tens of thousands of reporting individuals over the last several months, as well as the current low vaccination rates and concerning increase in cases.
      Data have shown that COVID-19 infection puts pregnant people at increased risk of severe complications and even death; yet only about 22% of pregnant individuals have received one or more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
      In making the strong recommendation in support of vaccination during pregnancy, both national organizations emphasize concerns about significant increases in COVID-19 cases due to the Delta variant and the regional low rates of vaccination in states across the country. Recent data have shown that more than 95% of those who are hospitalized and/or dying from COVID-19 are those who have remained unvaccinated. Pregnant individuals who have decided to wait until after delivery to be vaccinated may be inadvertently exposing themselves to an increased risk of severe illness or death. Those who have recently delivered and were not vaccinated during pregnancy are also strongly encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

If they refuse the vaccine, they are not meant to be nurses. Most of the nurses who refuse have not even been nurses very long or are at the bottom of the list not someone who is experienced. it’s important to talk about these types of issues and the decisions that you want done before and/or during pregnancy. you never know what’s going to happen, and you don’t want to leave these issues just up to the one person when both should be able to have their input and opinions noted.

    • @MiniWolf666
      @MiniWolf666 2 роки тому +33

      Most families do this, or at least my wife and I do. The issue is actually doing what was discussed. Take me for example, I don’t want to have to live my life having to be reliant on machines to keep me alive (depending on the machine, of course). I’m the unplug me kind of guy, I’m more worried of what happens after I’m gone. I highly doubt my wife will be able to go through with what I want her to do though, she also knows that I have this doubt due to teller her I do (I know my wife’s personality).
      What many people don’t realize is that even with the plans in place, once the plans become a necessity doesn’t mean you will be able to carry them out. I can talk my wife into unplugging me from life support after so long, but that doesn’t mean she will suddenly have the emotional strength to be able to let me go and unplug me.

I was in the hospital for covid pneumonia back in August and I was sick for 3 weeks which it feel like a horrible cold at first which went from a sinus infection to covid pneumonia and 2 weeks worth of tests that kept coming back negative til that 3rd week I woke up weak and felt like I had an elephant sitting on my chest like I couldn't get in enough oxygen so I start getting dizzy and bad shortness of breathe so I decided to call 911 I'm glad I did bc I became extremely lathargic and passed out in front of my door , I'm so lucky mine didn't get this bad bc I waited for so long to go to the hospital if it weren't for x-rays I'd never known I had it at all bc all other test were neg .. I believe your wife's was so much worse bc we always get 10xs sicker when we're pregnant .. like a sinus infection feel like the flu but I really thought I was dying so I feel so grateful and I'm so glad to know your wife is okay and ur baby and you didn't have to go through the pain of loosing her .. and God bless you and ur family ❤️❤️

      Everyone should have “a living will” for themselves, therefore their loved ones won’t have to make those hard decisions. A living will is just as important as having a will and life insurance. You will be saving your family so much heartache. I have to get down to the funeral home and set up and start paying for my death, I’m not getting any younger 😂 no but on a more serious note it’s so important especially right now with covid
      Edit: it’s called a advance directive

    I was hit with covid back in early 2020 and it was a bad case as well, just seeing this woman with that yellow tube in her nose just brought back so many flashbacks for me and everything I went through. I myself was in a coma for a month and trust me waking up from that and having to relearn how to sit up in bed, stand longer than 5 seconds without my legs trembling, taking 5 steps and feeling like I just ran 10miles is so scary I honestly thought i was going to be on disability for the rest of my life but thanks to the prayers from family and friends and God I pulled through and now I am back to work and we'll I may not be 100% of how I used to be I am alive and that's all that's what's important. Thank God this woman and her beautiful baby pulled through, it will definitely be an uphill battle for her from here I feel she will be just fine and I'm happy to see her in good spirits and wish nothing but the best for her and her family and God bless the doctor who helped them along the way.

My lungs suffered some permanent damage but thank God it wasnt worse than what it is. My father also had a "mild" case of covid and that meant him sleeping for two weeks, often he wouldn't even respond, he ate maybe once a day, he couldn't breathe good and thought he was about to have a heart attack and now one year later still gets agitated when doing hard work. Luckily it was just a "mild case" the doctor said, the doctor already had covid thrice and it was 2x worse than my father's.

    • @lace1245
      @lace1245 2 роки тому +16

      @Jay Browne there are people who are educated enough to know not to jump in line for things like this that you cannot “undo.” There are also approximately 17,000 scientists world wide who disagree and urge against the vaccine. You only hear from the ones they let speak. Over 60% of Congress is invested in this vaccine.
      If you think everyone should just jump in line to take an experimental shot (that fauci admittedly changed the definition of vaccine to suit), you need to go back and learn history and dabble in chemistry.
      We are all doing our best and making the best decisions we can make for ourselves, without proper knowledge of the shots they’re giving, due to the fact that they requested 75 years before they release info on AND manufacturers had to sign non-disclosure agreements in addition to everything else that’s odd about it. Also, maybe try looking into the over 100,000 vaccine injuries they say are reported at a rate of less than 1% because people don’t know better.
      Have compassion for people.

      My childhood friend who i have known since middle school got a bad case of Covid as well. This took place in the beginning of COVID before the vaccines were released. One of his co-workers came in sick without telling anyone. It started off as a tickle in his throat until the next day when he had trouble breathing. His girlfriend and mom both had mild cases, but he had to be hospitalized. Almost 3 weeks in a medical induced coma, hooked to a ventilator, and his heart stopped nearly 3 times. There were plenty of times where he just wanted to give up and "sleep". Even after being discharged it took him nearly a year to recover to his somewhat former self. What's scary is that he was not an unhealthy guy prior to COVID and he's pretty young. Other than being kinda chubby, he had no immunity problems, and he's been practicing martial arts for years.

    My husband, mother & myself got covid in late Feb early March of 2020. It was when it was just beginning to be taken serious but no tests were out yet. My husband & mom had _every_ symptom. I have 3 nebulizer machines & thank God I do because we each needed one!
    My poor husband couldn't even walk 10 feet & he'd be so out of breath. If it wasn't for my machines & solution for it, they both would be in the hospital. I didn't have it fully like them. I had the odd painful headaches & the _crazy_ cold chills non stop & I had to sleep sitting up because if felt like a bear was on my chest. I wrote a goodbye letter & taped it to my bedroom mirror just in case I died during the night. I read it months later & cried my eyes out.
    It definitely was no joke & I pray to _never_ have it again! It's a helpless feeling not being able to get a full breath of air.. I'm happy the mom & Cameron made it thru. God bless the doctors & nurse team that saved them 💕

    Just lost a childhood friend who was pregnant. She was only 30. The baby survived thank God. But burying someone so young who never got to meet her baby face to face is so heartbreaking.
