- Little mistakes but fuck it!
In this video i used:
-Pearl Vision VBX drums + sonor force 3001 snare
-Pearl P-3002D demon drives
-Balbex 5A nylon sticks
-Shure SE315 in-ear
-Panasonic NV-GS11 dv-camera
I think this might be one of the best actual drum COVERS of black metal in youtube,and not just playthrough.

Just curious, for your really fast ride work (like at 1:27), how much is fingers versus wrist for you? I've been trying to work on this lately and have been struggling with those faster ride sections in a lot of black metal
It's 90% fingers, wrist/arm are basically giving the pulse. Try to start with lower tempo and really low volume, that way it's easier to find a good technique for fingers.

Kannattaako hankkia noi shuren in-earit? oon katellu kaikenlaista ja soittamine menee hiukkasen vituix tänhetkisellä asetelmalla. In-earit vai mielummin jotkut korvien yli menevät studiokuulokkeet?
Se on vähän makuasia kumpia tykkää käyttää, mut kylhän in-earit eristää paremmin. Shuren 215 vois olla monipuolisemmat tulevaisuutta ajatellen jos joskus tarvii vaikka keikalle korvamonitorit.
