So very cool to see how the people of my beautiful state, Western Australia used to look. My parents were born and raised here as was I and my children. I'm not saying I'm proud of all our heritage, but seeing how hard people lived and how much happiness they found in the simple gifts of nature brings me back to reality and a yearning to return to that way of life without today's technological distractions. I feel like the entire world could do with a reminder of what's truly important in life. There's so much ugliness out there. Be kind to you and all, spread love and help create a better world x
A great look back at our history enjoyed it a lot , the world has changed a lot since then not all for the better unfortunately. Rip to all those no longer with us .
34:22 - VH-UKM Was a DH.60G Gipsy Moth owned by LSJ Smith of Guildford. The aircraft was registered on the 6th of April 1929. It crashed at Leonora on the 17th of July 1931.
As some one who was born in Western Australia, very much appreciate this upload! It is a great look back in time, like watching someone's home movies. Thanks for uploading, liked and subbed :)
The last segment is wrongly dated as1948. It would be more likely to be very early 1930s by the big biplane trimotor, all the cars looking like late1920s models, &the hats on the ladies.
If only there were more of these old films from Western Australia restored and uploaded. I could watch these for hours.

True blue Aussies who built this land into the great Southern land. I lift my hat to them.

That last section certainly wasn't aviation in 1948.
