It’s apparent that her parents were part of the abuse themselves seeing she was beaten for not getting into the school she wanted. If she felt she had only herself to solve her problems, it meant she didn’t feel comfortable asking for their help…she didn’t want to bring shame to her family so she kept everything to herself until she could no longer hide it anymore. We keep forgetting how young she was when she started the industry….her company & management team took advantage of her young age & naïveté and used threats to control her & demean her.
