@@mekich08 maybe they will include the u3, laser room and throne room in Separate Ways. We need to tell Capcom to include those in the Separate ways campaign.

Oh God, i adore how they added that emotional scene of Leon finishing Krauser off. His death felt so detached in the original considering that he is Leon's old comrade.
well, Leon killed him without emotion before because he knew that Krauser was Umbrella's lapdog

U-3 was referenced in the game files through the notes you can find around the island or the castle. Also, if you notice, a verdugo was missing during salazar's boss fight, meaning one thing. Ada clapped both U3 and a Verdugo during her campaign. Now you guys connect the dots, stay hyped people.
Actually the note refers to verdugo as U-3

@@mike3x108 I had a suspicion that it referred to the green-robed verdugo as U-3. Hmm, maybe they'll changed the actual u-3 into like U-4 or 5 this time.

They cut U-3 and give several changes on the Mutation. Mendez gain same Crustacean Pincers, Salazar mutate instantly rather than becoming one with Queen Plaga, Krauser mutate both of his Arm, and Saddlers is looking more like a Spiders and gain secondary Mutation.
Absolutely ridiculous that U-3 was cut, there was no need for that.
Damn it, I was just searching all over for a video containing U3
U-3 is kinda unesesary since it doesnt do any impact in the game, it coming out of nowhere back then.

RE4 is a masterpiece of game design especially from its time period

Krauser before his death looked Leon proudful of what he became at some point, that was a nice detail :")

A little sad that U3 got cut, I would've liked to see what they would've done with it. But nevertheless the game looks very good
I just hope there is a Ada Seperate Ways DLC and they included it in it.

Though it's tragic, I like how they've changed how Luis dies by having Krauser kill him with a knife to the back instead of Saddler who kills him by impaling him with a tentacle. It makes things more personal between Leon and Krauser.
Luis saving Leon's ass from Krauser makes waaaaaaay more sense 👌
No it doesn't, you expect them to make us believe a trained knife wielding mercenary like krauser couldn't finish Luis off with a knife toss ,or that an injured Luis could so accurately shoot the knife out of his hand while injured? If he could do that why not kill him? Give me a break..At least ada made sense sparing krauser because they were working together.

They removed the amazing cutscenes of El Giant and that white dog scene in the remake version 😮
No the white dog is in the game. And it helps you in the fight if you save it.
I got to say, I'm really happy with how they handled Ashley's character in this remake. She's a much more grounded character and I appreciate that. Also, with that being said I have an opinion to share... I think Leon should continue the Graham bloodline.

This is definitely one of the greatest games ive experienced, played this game since 2008 in my PS2 until this day

Yeah, they also didn't animate Méndez's mutation. It might not be a huge deal but I always loved to see those nasty and grotesque animations.

So it was true… there is no U3… that is a major let down to be honest… he was the only one that scared me as a boss fight to be honest… and its fight was oppressive and scary and during the second phase you have to watch put for him and react quickly…
There was no reason to cut him out of the final game…. Unless he becomes a boss for Ada in the separate ways that will come later.
Love how in the end Leon says we go both our separate ways as a Easter egg to ada separate ways gameplay nice
Love it how Leon subtly mentioned the DLC Separate Ways at the end there. Also wondering how Krauser survived from his heart being stabbed at the end there? Ada is the one who kills Krauser if I'm not mistaken.
Maybe they'll redo Krauser in the lore and make him being revived and overwhelmed by Las Plagas or smth.
I guess they've made it to not repeat the boss for the DLC surely to come. My bet is that they'll add U-3 for Ada because fans are upset it was cut, and different Saddler version will remain but they're going to add Ramons second hand which Leon haven't killed as the replacement of Krauser

Salazar was a perfect fight in this.
The music, the graphics, the sounds, the dialogue absolutely perfect
the 12 gauge sound effect during El Gigante sounds INTENSE, the soundtrack too!!
The return of lighter from PS1's RE1-3 come to RE4 remake. Very nostalgic and memorable artifact.
Seeing garrador's face pop up out of nowhere gave me chills. He's so much more intimidating here.

The best part of this video was that the player decided to stick with using the original handgun all the way. Best handgun in the game when fully upgraded with the exclusive.

This game looks great. I hope they will do a resident evil 5 remake and code Veronica remake.
Code Veronica is much needed. As for resident evil 5 I believe they could do a remake but there has to be MAJOR changes to make it more horror oriented, one of the main criticisms of re5 was the lack of horror and ridiculous feats (Chris punching boulders) plus a lot of the enemies were just copies of RE4 bosses just “upgraded”, no originality. Might as well just discard the whole thing and create a new resident evil 5 😂
I also hoped for a RE: Outbreak file #1 & #2 Remake.

I'm not mad about U3 being cut, a boss to be dreaded for sure especially in the original, but the fight itself is among the reasons why Island felt like padding. If excess can't be salvaged it's okay to cut and trim.
Great video! The Bitorez fight in the RE4 remake was really faithful to the original and it's a fantastic battle. In fact, on my latest episode of the RE4 mobile series, I faced off against him and it was intense! Keep up the great work!

There's some interesting inspiration in some of these boss designs. Salazar turns into what is literally Experiment Z-57 from Metroid and Saddler's final form semi-appears and attacks like the Hive Mind from Dead Space. I love what they've done with the bosses. I was a bit iffy in Salazar at first due to how different he is (I wonder why?), but anything that resembles a Metroid boss is cool, and his newfound mobility is intimidating.
Also, RIP U-3. Hopefully we will see it return in a Separate Ways DLC?
I think original Salazar monster form looked cooler and scarier, but as a boss fight the new one was way better
Just gotta say, the new stealth mechanic really complements the Garrador encounters

The only good part about U3 was the first part with the falling containers the rest was boring as hell.
Also he will be back in separate ways with Ada,they said they are gonna expand her story quite a bit and honestly U3 Is so irrelevant to the story that he can easily be fitted into Ada's story instead

But neither do some of these bosses and the container section could of at least been included as IMO it was the most tense part of 4 besides the first time seeing Iron Maiden.

Leon took a lot of lessons from Segal for knife fights
The Gigantes are a bit different now. I liked that el Gigante from the original Re4 looked like the Troll from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring
Speaking of which did you notice the look of el gigante at the castle? The armoured one? You can’t tell me that helmet and white paint is not inspired from an Uruk-hai oh and the castle setting makes it obvious too 😂

Dude why did they cut out the animation of mendez body coming apart instead they just have it happen off camera that’s one of the coolest moments of the original shame they took it out.
Dudeeeeee that Krauser death scene tho, he knew at the end he was screwed. Man that was heartfelt, if there was a way to save Krauser in the end it would be amazing
I miss the scene where Salazar is speaking and gets pulled into the mouth of the monster before mutating into it
