Chivalry 1 was actually a great game. Loved it and its various gamemodes, I guess since there's a new, updated sequel, it took all the players there.
Hi, thank you for this. Not sure it's the right niche but if anyone's seeking to clothe such gaming experience with an adequately historical background I firmly recommend Schwerpunkt's videos series: no better introduction to the Middle Ages, politically, militarily and socially. Hope to get more videos like this! Love, Jacques
Holy crap this guy has more burner accounts that Kevin Durant
Just wanted to let you know you can play War of the Roses and War of the Vikings again as of March. There are launch fixes for both games in their respective forums on Steam.
i met a load of great people during my 1,7k hours in lif. great memories.
oh yeah... still playing with them years later
seeing chivalry 1 so empty makes me cry, i spent almost 1500 hours in it, it helped me with my first relationship rupture and other things... community was wholesome, servs and mode were so cool, damn i miss it.. at least bannerlord allmost keep warband spirit and styles, there is no fun in chiv 2 compared to 1
you should do chiv 2 video, specially with the new update drop, such a underrated game
LIF at the start was honestly so freaking amazing
All games I played a ton, except Black Death. I can't wait for a new LiF like MMO, it was glorious!
Hi resonant, have you played stalker before? its not a dead game but in fact a flurishing game now because of some mods. I have the original trilogy and the gamma mod. I personally love it and if you played it, do you too?
warband player are playing napoleon. and medival is mostly banner.
But why is warband dead?
I even remeber building well trying to build a castle and it didn't turn out well
The mmo came back actually but its the same thing practically some new stuff but its also not free anymore or a one time purchase
i had life is feudal both YOUR OWN and mmo
I love how the first game released two years after Daek Souls 1, if i remember correctly, yet DS1 is still alive and kicking (and still legendary amongst its community) meanwhile the first game is just absolutely dead. PRAISE THE SUN
why did they stop selling it were they afriad they would recuperate some of thier losses?
Chivalry 1 is not dead, it has a small but VERY dedicated playerbase. The big battles are NOT gone. The 64 player server is almost filled pretty much every weekend evening (European time), and on weekday evenings we have above 30 players at least usually.
The reason people still play is because of the combat, Chivalry 2 really doesn't have the same kind of combat. Mordhau is more similar to Chivalry 1, but many still prefer Chivalry 1 over Mordhau.
mordhau has the same default has chiv 1 (abuse out of moves etc...) but a lot more complexity, chivalry 1 was like a medieval COD
@@marc7817 I know a lot of competitive veterans of both games, and they all say that Chivalry 1 is more complex than Mordhau. Even GIRUGIRUs overview video over these games, who is geneally regarded as THE best player of both Chivalry 1 AND Mordhau, says that Chivalry 1 has a higher skill ceiling and complexity than Mordhau, and I would rather take his word for it than yours.
@@Osvath97 i watch girugiru and other since a lot of time, ive never remember earing that.ive even been in vocal discord with them, from chiv to mordhau, ive never remember anyone said that. Its not complex to understand why mordhau has more thing. Chiv is basic, apart from drag (accel and slow), and special abuse attack like by behind, and feint. Now manage the stamina, crouch and jump and you got all mechanics. Mordhau add to the exact same mechanics(even if drag are less usefull) armor system, throwing, more weapons, mordhau grip system itself, skills perks.
@@Osvath97 it was not negative, i love the fact that it was a medieval COD, it mean you can play if you had a lot or not so many time, you can enjoy even as a noob or apprentice, but you can go so far
Mount and blade was so good, the new one has a lot of potential! The best medieval game of all time is still KingdomComeDeliverance though!
yes
Who the hell say Warband is dead ?!
ah that was such a good game back in the day. :( Im kinda sad that its dead now...
Got 7.300 Hrs in LIF:YO was a great game sadly its dead
chivalry 1 was the best multiplayer slasher easily. It was very satisying to headshot chad knights. All the classes were fun to play as well. im still waiting for Tornbanner to bring back the brandi to chiv 2 😭
You.. you're one of those archers.... AAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHH!
we need more modern day slashers. Like i can think of a game that combines shooting and slashing, make it similar to cqc combat of mgs.
@@SplendidFactor you play long enough you become the thing you hate the most 🤣
@@kane1246 still kind of sad mordhau didnt introduce the Heavy Crossbow. I still do the looking up thing while reloading, even though it doesnt do anything
Cool
Chiv 1 player count is similar to that of console Mordhau...
oh good god not life is feudal noooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Chiv 2 was really good and was free with Prime a week or two ago
You mean biological warfare not chemical warfare, and it is not against the rules, it was very much part of warfare back in the day, from launching rotting carcasses into castles and cities during sieges to polluting supplies or wells.
