    This is amazing. I first ordered a wrap but found it was way to complicated and this is what I should have got a long time ago. My baby is 3 months old and he loves it. If he is feeling needy I just put him in then I can clean the house, eat and walk and he just goes to sleep. He can breath good and I feel it is a safe successful carrier.

    I run a couple Shellback SF in ranger green with ATS triple shingle and ATS bleed pouch and I currently have ESAPIs in it with a 3A backer. Other one I use on duty is the Ferro Slickster with ADAPT Kangaroo pouch with triple 556 insert, standard elastic cummerbund, ferro shoulder pads, ferro admin pouch and it has NIJ lvl 4 in it with Trex Arms plate backer. I love how slim the ferro fits but I wouldn't trade my shell back I usually run it with my ATS Battle belt in ranger green but my ferro gets run with a TREX Orion, Esstac mag pouches dbl pistol and single AR, ATS compact dump pouch, HSGI Relex IFAK packed by yours truly, dbl mag pouch for flashlight and multi-colored from Tactical Tailor, Safariland UBL Mid with QLS and a NAR TQ mounted horizontal, My Safariland Holsters all have condition gray TQ straps all in Multicam because dammit I'm gonna look good since that is half the battle

      @@IronInfidel ...there is something about the way they designed the shoulder straps into the front and back that just distributes the weight really well. And the material they use is very rugged but super soft. Definitely check one out if you can. Also the integrated hydration pack and the assault pack Agilite makes, that attaches to their plate carriers, is great and works really well with the carrier.

    Just an FYI, near infrared (NIR) doesn’t have to do with thermal signature. The technology you were referring to is to mitigate excessive glow and contrast from the plate carrier’s fabric when being viewed through modern night vision devices.

    Belt- blue alpha gear 1.75in Molle double belt rig with holster on right hip, starting on left from crotch to rear goes double pistol mag pouch, light dump pouch, then 2 ar mag pouches.
    Main firearm - Sig MPX 4.5 in barrel with flashlight that’s it keep it light weight

    Thin shoulder straps are great until you run Level IV Plates. Personally the two carriers I've had good luck with are the LBT Modular Plate Carrier and the Agilite K19. The difference between the two is really if you want 9.5x12.5 plates or 8x10 plates.

    Your video production is way better than your subscriber count would suggest, good job. Question, how would you define the first spear siege r optimized, is it a plate carrier? I'm in the market for armor and i'm looking into both the siege and the stranddhog

    • @IronInfidel
      @IronInfidel  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the comment man. Yeah we are trying to grow and produce good content. Regarding your question, the Siege is cut like a standard load bearing vest. It is designed specifically around soft body armor, but it is my understanding that you can add hard plates in addition to the soft armor. A plate carrier like the UARM or JPC is cut specifically to fit hard ballistic plates. Keep in mind I don't have a Seige, but that is my basic understanding of that carrier.

      Old comment but my guess is you pulled it in a direction that it's not meant to break in, they have certain directions specifically to pull and it shouldn't fight you so if it did that's the reason it broke.

  • @bjh5737
    @bjh5737 3 роки тому +1

    Friendly suggestion, next time don't worry about the length of the video and just talk about everything you want to cover. I was wanting to know the major differences between the one you carry now and what you used to carry. All of those carriers are some of the best, I tuned in for you to go over what made you go from one to the other to the other. If you are worried about wasting people's time, make a longer video and put time stamps in so people can hop to the content they want to see.
