This is amazing. I first ordered a wrap but found it was way to complicated and this is what I should have got a long time ago. My baby is 3 months old and he loves it. If he is feeling needy I just put him in then I can clean the house, eat and walk and he just goes to sleep. He can breath good and I feel it is a safe successful carrier.

I run a couple Shellback SF in ranger green with ATS triple shingle and ATS bleed pouch and I currently have ESAPIs in it with a 3A backer. Other one I use on duty is the Ferro Slickster with ADAPT Kangaroo pouch with triple 556 insert, standard elastic cummerbund, ferro shoulder pads, ferro admin pouch and it has NIJ lvl 4 in it with Trex Arms plate backer. I love how slim the ferro fits but I wouldn't trade my shell back I usually run it with my ATS Battle belt in ranger green but my ferro gets run with a TREX Orion, Esstac mag pouches dbl pistol and single AR, ATS compact dump pouch, HSGI Relex IFAK packed by yours truly, dbl mag pouch for flashlight and multi-colored from Tactical Tailor, Safariland UBL Mid with QLS and a NAR TQ mounted horizontal, My Safariland Holsters all have condition gray TQ straps all in Multicam because dammit I'm gonna look good since that is half the battle
I’m a big fan of the Agilite k19 plate carrier. Has the tube quick releases like the one in the video. But man, it is so comfortable!!! I can wear it all day with no problems, I forget I’m even wearing it. I could even sleep in it, it’s just so comfortable. Highly recommend the k19.

And the material they use is very rugged but super soft. Definitely check one out if you can. Also the integrated hydration pack and the assault pack Agilite makes, that attaches to their plate carriers, is great and works really well with the carrier.

@@IronInfidel just a heads up, you have to buy into the whole system. It’s hard to find a back panel that matches their double zipper system. No one else has that step up from what I’ve seen
Right now I'm using an original banshee from shellback tactical with RMA level IV ceramic plates but I just purchased a T3 tomahawk low vis and a placard system from Defense Mechanisms.
Thin shoulder straps are great until you run Level IV Plates. Personally the two carriers I've had good luck with are the LBT Modular Plate Carrier and the Agilite K19. The difference between the two is really if you want 9.5x12.5 plates or 8x10 plates.

Just an FYI, near infrared (NIR) doesn’t have to do with thermal signature. The technology you were referring to is to mitigate excessive glow and contrast from the plate carrier’s fabric when being viewed through modern night vision devices.
lots of great information, can't wait to see more of this channel! I do think it would be great for you to include the plate carriers in the frame when you are talking about them, there was many times were a few times you talked about your set ups and patted a carrier, but we couldn't see what you were talking about.
@@don8659 more padding in the shoulder straps, and uses the tubes system that Iron showed. Quicker, easier to get out, and no Velcro to wear out. I also molli in the same AR magazine pouches i have on my belt on my chest not too. I first thought having the tubes system close to my shoulder pocket would get in the way. But, it didn’t just collapsed my but-stock one position in and shot a class for 7hrs doing transitions from shoulder to shoulder and was awesome.
It is a Unity Fast Mount (2.26). The height allows you to more easily acquire a site picture under Nods or while wearing a gas mask. Best regards, Alex
I have a pretty unique set up and btw I’m a basic joe no LE or military experience: Plate carrier- 5.11 tactec with nothing on the plate carrier itself except lvl 4 plates. Belt- blue alpha gear 1.75in Molle double belt rig with holster on right hip, starting on left from crotch to rear goes double pistol mag pouch, light dump pouch, then 2 ar mag pouches. Main firearm - Sig MPX 4.5 in barrel with flashlight that’s it keep it light weight Pistol- Canik TP9SF no attachments Love the guns I shoot well with both any tips or recommendations feel free to add or comment on!
That's why I prefer velcro cuz come different weather times you don't have to adjust it 4 times a year being in the midwest you have more give when wearing at shirt then go to wearing a jacket
First plate carrier was IOTV in Afghanistan then the unit gave us Tactical Tailor Fight Light Plate Carrier. It is comfortable, but if I had a choice, I would have went with something else. I'm not a huge fan of the buckles. I did like the side plate pouches that came with it because I can bring it up higher to actually try and give my vital organs (mainly heart) better protection. IOTV in 130+ heat = no fun. LOL
I am in the process of setting up a AR500 Veritas carrier. Yes. Budget. But it works for me. Really dig your videos, man! Fitness and firearms training is my thing as well! 💪🏼

Old comment but my guess is you pulled it in a direction that it's not meant to break in, they have certain directions specifically to pull and it shouldn't fight you so if it did that's the reason it broke.

Friendly suggestion, next time don't worry about the length of the video and just talk about everything you want to cover. I was wanting to know the major differences between the one you carry now and what you used to carry. All of those carriers are some of the best, I tuned in for you to go over what made you go from one to the other to the other. If you are worried about wasting people's time, make a longer video and put time stamps in so people can hop to the content they want to see.

Haley strategic has the "hitch hiker" specifically for use with the flat pack that completely solves the problem with not being able to access the pack by yourself. It's only like $18 dollars. Totally worth it

Thanks for the comment man. Yeah we are trying to grow and produce good content. Regarding your question, the Siege is cut like a standard load bearing vest. It is designed specifically around soft body armor, but it is my understanding that you can add hard plates in addition to the soft armor. A plate carrier like the UARM or JPC is cut specifically to fit hard ballistic plates. Keep in mind I don't have a Seige, but that is my basic understanding of that carrier.
I noticed in some of your newer videos you are no longer running the UARM setup. Did you run into issues or did you find something you prefer over it? I had been seeing UARM carriers online but haven't heard much in the way of reviews. I just want to make sure they are a solid product and durable.

I am a little late to the party on this but have you checked out the first spear AAC? Fits the light weight bill, thin straps and has the option of an instant adjust cumberbund and a front panel with pouches already built in plus the radio pocket in the cumberbund.
Hey Iron, what is acceptable when it comes to the drop of the back plate carrier? Every PC I try the back always seem to hang to low. The Front will good, but the damn back. I constantly have to yank the back up. I tried every thing. Any ideas or help you can offer?

Can you get just the front placard from UARM, or do you have to buy the whole chest rig? I am wanting to switch out placards depending on what I am doing.
I have two on my plate carrier and one on my belt. For my context 120 Rds (mag in rifle) should be enough. For a military member it may be a different story.

I have two on my plate carrier and one on my belt. For my context 120 Rds (mag in rifle) should be enough. For a military member it may be a different story.
