Thank you for those wise words, I will try to implement your suggestions irl. I hope I can beat depression, anxiety, existentialism, body dismorphia and adhd one day. I have hit rock bottom and have been in a mental rut since a year finally I am able to see some light and there is hope.

This is absolutely fantastic! I enjoy your little gestures and the calming voice which really impact me the most!
For these past few months I've been struggling to find what I should do with my life and how i could appreciate it more.
Thankfully now I'm much better and happier now and your talk just put a cherry on top of my life!

Thank you for sharing. Too often we just do what we used to do out of habit, or relative comfort perhaps. I love that someone took the time to remind us that introspection is valuable. Why do we do the tings we do; or say the things that we say. I'm grateful people like you exist.

6:18 in case of not dwelling on the past, i do believe that we shouldn't let it affect our mood but instead we should analyse the better choices that we could have made in that particular situation and try to imagine how other person with a different personality would have acted in the situation, and we should try avoiding these all mistakes in the present. The past is not something that is to be forgotten. The past guides us to have a better future with a greater understanding of how we should act if we are in the same situation again.

You're absolutely right! Good point, thanks for bring that up. There's a lot that we can learn from our past experiences and it's important to analyse them so we can learn from our experiences. The reason why I brought up not dwelling on the past is because too many of us are attached to old identities or stuck in the past. Childhood trauma leaves deep impacts on our neural pathways, making us more prone to anxiety and depression. But fortunately, mindfulness can help with neuroplasticity and that can be just as simple as focusing on the present for a couple of minutes a day. Greetings and thanks for watching! :)

This video was much needed today. Your experiences is relatable, I used to be very focused on my dream career and went through many rough patches to achieve it. In the end, it burned me out and everything felt meaningless. Now I want to go back to my dream career more than anything after losing myself. It's been hard with my mental conditions - I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, PTSD, anxiety, and depression two years ago and haven't been the same.
Your advices is very helpful and something I am going to implement, thank you.

I am so glad to have you published this video, on this day of all days.
Today was the lowest I have ever felt in my mental health, and I cannot seem to pin-point the exact reasoning for this feeling, I would assume it is a combination of a lot of factors that are currently in my life.
I realize now that you are correct, I have lost sight of my reason to live, I broke down in front of my roommate today and thankfully I was able to get that off my chest, and be heard a little bit.
I tell myself that there is a meaning to all of this pain and suffering I am experiencing but I don't quite understand it, and I believe it is because I am searching for instant gratification.
I find it a funny coincident that this shows up on my feed of all the days, it had to be today and the fact that I instantly clicked on it, has to be a sign.
It made me understand a bit better, Thank you so much.
Truly I never thought I would have thought about wanting to end my own life, honestly I am afraid to die, I want to live a long and happy life, but I also want to understand the meaning of my existence. I truly want to be loved and heard. I have been alone for so long, I think I am nearing my breaking point of loneliness.
But all in all, this has brought some peace to my mind, I thank you a lot from my heart.

I'm happy that you found value in this speech, Lucas. Thanks for sharing your story. Meaning rarely comes from happiness. We usually find it within adversities. But it's not only that; we need to make a conscious effort in order to convert suffering into meaning and that comes from sharing your pain with others as you have just done so with your comment. You are on the right track. It doesn't happen over night. I'll make another video soon explaining all of this. Stay safe and be well. I wish you all the best!

Very well explained and enlightening. How do you dig deep to find what you truly want? In my life, adversity and humiliation were the key ingredients to seek the other side of the coin and reverse my condition; a cultural background (everyone has it, you just need to read more and look farther out) and curiosity were to guide me through it; and the desire to create a loving family. What is there to live for if not for others, is what I truly understood when my daughter arrived. Now, guiding her and listening to what she says is meaningful to me.
