Great HATS !!! Love the kit build. That ISO-TIP been around many years . I got my first one in the 1980's . still works with NEW battery and TIP. the battery is a 2 stack of SC 1.2V NiCad or NiMh battery .2.4V total. the lamp is #222 . replacement parts on Amazon. Their is new ISO-TIP with Li-ION battery. Real Nixie tubes are glass and filled with neon , they still make them. there is a Nixie tube clock KIT from Ukraine. video's on you tube. 73's
Nixies are pretty neat. I didn't realize that HP used them in their high end lab equipment way back when
@@temporarilyoffline I have both a frequency counter and vote meter that have Nixie tubes. The HP is from 1970's and is now GPS locked time base. easy just plug in 10 MHz GPS reference in to ext. time base on counter. done GPS locked counter

Well, when you think about it all of are energy is somehow of solar orgin. Fossil fuel is solar energy when you realize it's orgin is from decayed plant and animal life powered from the sun. Yes hydropower might be considered to be independent but water is a byproduct of the fusion process so ....??? Yep everything is Solar power there.
I wish more people understood that. There is always a "thing before the thing". Even before the sun.
