I use the ones from Costco. You get a bunch of them for cheap. I don't know how good they are, but since I only use one hearing aid and usually only when I'm not home, the pack lasts me about a year!

A friend of mine just switch to a rechargeable battery style hearing aids and gave me all his power one 312 batteries, with 6 batteries per sleeve. And 10 sleeves per box, but I find that these Power One brand don't last the full 7 days. Sometimes they only last somewhere around 3-4 days. So when I start to run out of this brand I will be switching to Rayovac brand 312s.

With the help of your channel, I have discovered that my audiologist didn't fit me to my hearing loss prescription, probably because I got my hearing aids through Opportunities of Ohioans with Disabilities. And the only fit a person with the cheapest hearing aids.

Yes, Power One batteries don’t seem to last as long. Also, it is possible that your aids are at a higher functioning power and may run the batteries out sooner than 7 days. Especially if they’re close to the expiration date.

I didn't know they were recyclable. The batteries have a habit of dying about 5 minutes after I get in my car (if anyone knows how that happens I'd love to know). They end up all over my car and I throw them out with either trash or in the recycle bin with used water bottles. There are a lot of things in California you are supposed recycle but few actually do.

That is so interesting your batteries die right when you get in the car. I haven't noticed that myself but I'll ask around and see if people have that issue. I can relate with batteries showing up every where, the orange stickers do, too!
