I am disgusted that the officer in the car didn't care if the attack was recorded. He still stood by the officer. This is one of the biggest problems with law enforcement. Sickening.
@@yellyman5483 - The cop scene I don't blame him, for attacking somebody in the street, should be fired as well. And they did not throw any trash in his yard. Although that wouldn't be a valid reason for attacking him either.
He says, "I don't care what the video says". Then she's explaining that he was blatantly in the wrong he says, "He didn't know better". A police officer saying that cops don't know better than to attack people in the street for no reason is a striking admission.
Off duty. Out of uniform. Out of control. What a danger AND embarrassment. On duty. In uniform. Doesn’t care about evidence. Leaves the scene because another officer is willing to do what’s right and he doesn’t want to be a part of it. An equal danger and embarrassment. Kudos to the female officer for honoring the evidence and defending a citizen who was wronged. The rest is shameful.
It is scary how blindly that cop wanted to defend the other cop, EVEN AFTER that female officer told him he was in the wrong. God bless her, we need more police like her. 👏
Agreed. That’s my biggest issue with this encounter; the cop (supervisor?) in the car arguing with her…. he NEEDS some retraining or something like that. He was blatantly wrong, was willingly ready to ignore facts AND the law, just because it was “another cop” involved. That shows what has pretty much been the biggest problems in law enforcement for decades. He should have been graded on the video as well, he wasn’t but I’ll confidently give him a big F!! 👍🏼☮️
Matt, the point with the commenters here, is that there was EVIDENCE, video evidence. The _female officer_ was not being blessed (?) She does not requiring blessings! There's NO blessing required at all. Police are hired to do their job professionally. Lets say she didn't do her job professionally, then she may have been sacked, or worse she could have been in the lawsuit as part of the problem. The female Officer is paid to do her job at the best of her ability and education, with SPECIAL emphasis on gathering EVIDENCE. Your bless her heart type response, is putting her down. Your "God bless her" is removing her professional status and belittling her. She doesn't require your God _blessing_ , as she clearly is educated professional, as you would find in other careers too. NO blessing (?) required. This is now the 3rd/4th post, informing YOU, she had VIDEO EVIDENCE. Do not belittle her with your god damn nonsense!
I honestly feel sorry for the female officer, her career is going to be so much harder now that the department she is in has had so many dirty cops exposed due to her professionalism.
Nah, I doubt it. Good cops hate the bad ones. Most cops are not that bad. They have to deal with these mini tyrants each day, you think they like them any more than we do? Not at all. She is doing fine.
Considering the issue is a single piece of litter! In this instance, bc there was a small child involved, the homeowner/cop is 20022's biggest pile winner 🏆
The officer that showed up and was ignoring the video is the worst aspect of this whole thing. It truly shows that reality doesn’t not come first whatsoever…
It was a shock to me when speaking to someone I cared about regarding doing research and seeing evidence and facts, and hearing their reply, "I don't care about facts." That attitude is just unfathomable to me. They are so far gone that it feels like I can't reach them.

Yet another person who HAS NO BUSINESS being a law enforcement officer. It's absolutely disgusting and unacceptable that our society allows people like this to be police.
When are you guys going to comprehend that our system is not broken. Our system is functioning exactly how it is designed to function. These are not bad officers in the system's eyes, These are wonderful officers in their eyes who regularly put the public in check. Why do you think the academy does not go through common law or case law even really in a remedial sense. Sure they bring up a few things but that's about it. I know this because much of my family and some of my friends and ex friends are in law enforcement. My uncle was the undersheriff of the county that I live in for I think 18 or 20 years until he retired and late 2021. My cousin is a deputy My aunt is a standard Leo and a few of my friends are Leos and detectives so I'm quite familiar with how the academies function. A purposely teach little to no law so that they say ignorant so that They can keep the overwhelming majority of their officers for losing their qualified immunity. If they are familiar the knowledgeable on an extensive level with common and constitutional law then they would lose their qualified immunity every single time which in return would open up the city to an exponential rate of increase of civil lawsuits which went bankrupt every single city industry. There's also a reason as to why they teach that it is us versus them. Phone again this is not my opinion or confusion or conflation or twisting of the words in which they use. They regularly quote unquote use the term they and then us versus them. They see the general public as enemies and a threat to their well-being at every moment. So again I will reiterate one more time. Our system is not broken It is functioning perfect. It is it's very design. Fact that people are not aware of this or incapable of comprehending it is baffling to me. We need to completely abolish the IRS the ATF, FBI, significantly increase our border patrol and ice agents and significantly lower our police forces and start creating and then increasing private community policing that is outside of the Union's grasp. Then lastly removing all gun laws and arming as many people as possible. Once we do that this country will be so much better

The saddest part about this (besides the trauma he just gave this little girl) is that the female officer is more likely to lose her job or get backlash from her coworkers than the actual offender.
The fact that he did all that for absolutely no reason, while on camera in front of children, shows you that this police officers, a dangerous man. I’m sure he does stuff like this all the time.

That was the clearest “I’m sorry I got caught with proof of my wrong doing” if I ever heard one. He’s not sorry for doing it, he’s sorry he got caught.
What is not mentioned in the video that truly disgusts me is... why did the DA pursue a grand jury indictment on two AGRAVATED assault charges that they KNEW would be dismissed instead of pursuing ANY indictment of SIMPLE assault which would have almost CERTAINLY been charged??? .... things that make you go hmmmm.

And right there is one gang member being loyal to another gang member. The police are just one big gang and they stick together like glue. This is why people hate them.
Sad thing is that female officer who stood up for the rights of the victims will most likely be "blacklisted" by her own law enforcement coworkers for going against the blue line.
NEVER LET AN OPPORTUNITY TO PRESS CHARGES AGAINST A TYRANT COP GO. HE ASSULTED YOU IN FRONT OF YOUR CHILD. NO AMOUNT OF APOLOGIZING MAKES THAT DISGUSTING ACT GO AWAY
Not to mention those shady cops often get processed through an ENTIRELY different legal system… not sure if it’s for certain states or all of them though, but I do know for a fact that police officers are often tried in a court (different than civilians) that is heavily biased in that it delivers verdicts almost solely in the form of rehabilitation and never any jail time or fines. @@silentvoiceinthedark5665 Yes, I found the grand jury part suspect. Were they not allowed to show all the evidence? Did the lawyer throw the case? Or am I severely misunderstanding something here?
11:20 what a manipulative tactic. That out of uniform officer saying he could make it a bigger deal but prefer they just leave the neighborhood is an empty threat/bluff. He’s trying to come off as the “nice guy” deescalating the situation, but in reality he was trying to cover up his bullshit act. Pathetic.
Yes! And then he went on to manipulate the man he attacked, by saying, "I'll hand out my hand, if you're man enough to take it." An extremely manipulative snake!
I feel so bad for the little girl having to watch this. Hearing her scream "my daddy" was absolutely heartbreaking. Also, the other male cop just saying that he was on that guy's side after being told he was wrong, is SCARY. Thank god for this female officer. If she wasn't there, this would have been a million times worse. It's unbelievable that this officer wasn't convicted.
The "I don't care what the video shows" made me scream out loud. I was always pro LEO most of my life. Until I was violently attacked in the streets and robbed, and when detectives got there they treated me like the criminal. Asking what I did to the guys. Did I steal from them. Did I screw them on a drug deal. It was 3 months before they found one of them. when the entire incident, and their escape route was all on camera from various businesses the day of. They never found the other guy.
@@dcviper985yes it makes perfect sense that a guy who may or may not have his daughter in videos that he posts somehow used his daughter for a video when an off duty cop randomly attacked him. I don’t like being mean in comments, but you’re an idiot it doesn’t matter what the scenario is a child especially if they’re young is going to react in a negative way if one of their family members especially if it’s a parent is attacked. So the idea that the man being attacked is somehow using his daughter in the video is completely idiotic and preposterous.
You can literally hear the mother say "I apologize it fell out!" at 1:04 (within a second of the recording).. They apologized for the candy falling out of her bag and the guy rans at them and aggressively attacks him? Like really? Wow
Right?! Who wouldn’t want items they paid for? I hope I never drop my keys or spare change falls out of my pocket, etc. near someone like this. It wasn’t even literal garbage that any reasonable person would discard at some point. But let’s say it was, perhaps a tissue or gum wrapper that fell out of a pocket; it’s STILL not littering as defined by law. If I saw someone drop something in my yard, I would let them know, so they could retrieve their property. Even if they just callously threw some trash onto my property, I would ask them to pick it up, and if they didn’t, do it myself and go about my day, unless it became a persistent issue, or they dumped furniture, or something large I’d have to pay to have hauled away. If the officer simply let them know something fell out into his yard, the family would’ve likely been grateful, as they wouldn’t be wondering where the candy they PAID for was, along with a disappointed child (I’m assuming the candy was for the little girl?). However, I can’t imagine assaulting ANYONE in ANY of these scenarios. It’s not an issue of having self control or showing restraint; the thought wouldn’t even cross my mind. If anything, if something like this happened to me, and there happened to be an officer who lived nearby, I would’ve thought they would help and explain the law to whoever was being aggressive. Until now…..just unbelievable.
@@KimmiChee-sf4xh Clearly the attack had nothing to do with the alleged littering. What made the off-duty policeman go psycho was the fact that the homeless guy started filming him and asked for his name and badge number. That's why he charged and assaulted the poor guy and stole the phone away from him.
Honestly, I'm more upset that the other cop said he didnt care what kind of video proof there was he was going to believe the off duty cop over Jeremiah. The whole thing was so disgusting. But that baby girl screaming and crying "my Daddy!!!" made my blood boil. That cop should have been immediately fired after his supervisor/supervisors saw the footage. Period.
I couldn’t believe that when I heard it I had to rewind. What the hell is wrong with people man they look at some folks walking and in a bad situation and they have so sympathy at all and will lie to get themselves out of trouble.
Even though I grew up poor, I was fortunate enough we were never homeless. To see this family together struggling , and hearing that little girl stand up for her struggling father is love. You don't have to be rich to be loved. This detective, having the finer things in life because of a steady paycheck, may find out what it's like to struggle. He may not get to stay in that nice neighborhood. God may bring him down to a lower humility.
It will be his actions if he is brough down, he did it to himself. God isn't going to succumb to that activity. God is about love, and we should remember that.
If there was a "god" this wouldn't have happened in the first place. The fact that you can watch this and still utter the words "god" and "love" baffles me! Stop dragging the rest of humanity down please.
@redwolf6769 You obviously haven't ever wanted to search for Him. That's why, you don't know Him. Our Scriptures tell us this is all fulfilling prophecy. We're very close to the end of the age, and it's going to get worse before it gets better and Christ returns. The good/Godly are being sifted out of the evil. This is fulfilling GODS plan
That reaction to me was really more horrifying than the assault. I can "understand" loosing ones temper and making a huge mistake, but it's the blind eye and tolerance of blatant tyranny of the officer in the car that's evil. He's so casual about it too, that really scary. That's some real 20th century fascist shit. Stuff like that solidifies my (stand-in of a more nuanced description) "ACAB" views. Edit: A+++ to the female officer for standing her ground and being a good one. If only they were all like her.
Makes my blood boil how disgusting they are. They really are just a gang. The officer in the car should be investigated too. How many times have we said until these so called 'good cops' hold the bad ones accountable, then they are all tarnished with the same brush. Big fat L for the Jury to not indict.
This both cops should lose their badge. To look at clear evidence of Assault and just say nah I'm good fuck the citizens we protect, is bs. Only one cop here is good the rest are garbage
For doing her job? Thats a low fucking bar. I get what she did tskes courage and i respect her as a person for that courage. But police as an instiuition for correctly making sure this shit doesnt happen? Thats baseline. A cook shouldnt get a pat on the back for not poisoining food, and a dr shouldnt get a pat on the back for letting a patient die on purpose. The respect comes in when the cook makes a good meal, and a doctor saves lives.
She was the best cop on the scene. And her having to work so hard just to get past their willful and deliberate obtuseness was painful. Must suck being her.
Too bad she kept mentioning the evidence, which makes you wonder if she would have done the right thing if it didn't exist, that if she only did the right thing to save the department's reputation. 🤔
I gave her benefit of the doubt: I got a subtle impression that she might have been motivated by principle and only portrayed the video evidence as pragmatically problematic because otherwise she would receive even more hatred from crook colleagues; that she basically had to explain it in selfish terms for them to understand. Of course I could be wrong. I am often still too lenient. Maybe SHE was actually afraid of being accused of misconduct with video evidence of that.
Then you are no better than the cop. If we TRULY want improvements in society then we must condemn ALL wrong and not excuse that which makes us feel good.

@@j91632 Naw the video is good for awareness my point is the shock value of it is not there because it happens a lot.
Most of it is swept under the rug. The strawman you did with the video was never said but yes the video shock value is not there for me.
But i am glad its up for those who can't fathom a human police officer doing such things any human can do on the planet.
Just gang members with a badge and pension
Letting these cops get away with this is sickening. Always press charges
Yes. Of the four people with badges in this video, only one of them deserves to keep it.
He did and they denied them.
Even being willing to press charges doesn't produce any justice in a corrupt system. How do you actually press charges? Sure, you can fill out paperwork to submit to prosecutors but you cannot demand action be taken on your behalf. You may be able to bring a civil suit or such if you're willing to go against big money lawyers, police union and crooked judges while they wage a war of attrition.
I'm not saying never do it. Just get some legal support or support of public opinion on your side before proceeding.
The DA took it to a grand jury and they failed to indict despite the video evidence. Black and white evidence of criminal conduct and the grand jury let it go, have to wonder if one of the family members of the same grand jury was to be injured by a rogue cop how they would feel about it?
@@silentvoiceinthedark5665 Yes, I found the grand jury part suspect. Were they not allowed to show all the evidence? Did the lawyer throw the case? Or am I severely misunderstanding something here?
11:20 what a manipulative tactic. That out of uniform officer saying he could make it a bigger deal but prefer they just leave the neighborhood is an empty threat/bluff. He’s trying to come off as the “nice guy” deescalating the situation, but in reality he was trying to cover up his bullshit act.
Pathetic.
He was being a bully because he “didn’t like the esthetic”.
Yes! And then he went on to manipulate the man he attacked, by saying, "I'll hand out my hand, if you're man enough to take it." An extremely manipulative snake!

Well he didn't know any better
"Well, yes he does. He's a cop."
Yeah, exactly and the part we’re not that many people notices that is heartbreaking
He uses his daughter like that in many of his videos. Jeremiah get extensively covered on channels like Frauditor Troll and Dummy Kruger.
@dcviper985 uses his daughter like what? She wasn't used in any way in this video. They just happened to walk by a nut job cops house.
He's a typical tough guy with a badge. Typical wimp that tries to bully others because he's a weak little boy.
Period.
Completely agree.
No he should be in jail like you or I would be.
I couldn’t believe that when I heard it I had to rewind. What the hell is wrong with people man they look at some folks walking and in a bad situation and they have so sympathy at all and will lie to get themselves out of trouble.
@haxor36ify I had to rewind it too to make sure I heard what I heard. 😡😡
@@Aceidic uh... there's a term for that: NIMBYs

@redwolf6769 You obviously haven't ever wanted to search for Him. That's why, you don't know Him.
Our Scriptures tell us this is all fulfilling prophecy. We're very close to the end of the age, and it's going to get worse before it gets better and Christ returns.

“I mean I’m going to believe that dude over him. I don’t care what the video says.”
Wow. Just wow. That cop should be fired just for saying that.

@@pv7651 the fact that you just gave the female cop an A+++ proves that no... not all cops are bastards
One of many filthy cops out there. It’s scary.
Makes my blood boil how disgusting they are. They really are just a gang. The officer in the car should be investigated too. How many times have we said until these so called 'good cops' hold the bad ones accountable, then they are all tarnished with the same brush. Big fat L for the Jury to not indict.
It wasn't the jury, the judge didn't indict possibly on the grounds of self-report and admission of guilt.
That DA deserves an F as well for filing felony assault charges instead of simple assault ones. They definitely did that to thwart an indictment.
Good point.
Could be charged for both, but only the felony (aggravated assault) goes to a grand jury.
Another cop getting away with blatant assault. Absolutely vile.

For doing her job? Thats a low fucking bar. I get what she did tskes courage and i respect her as a person for that courage.
Took the apology, took the cash... still filed charges. I love it
It's what you gotta do, let 'em feel good and then hit them in the paperwork where they can't hide it.

@@existenceisrelative OK. I guess that lying is OK then if you think you are justified. Every one rightly disparages the cop for attacking the father in front of his screaming child because she will be traumatized. Well, he just blatantly lied in front of his daughter. I wonder how many children have suffered future damage from being led to believe that lying is OK. I guarantee that it is far more than have been traumatized from violence because apparently no-one acknowledges how seriously the normalization of lying detriments society. We’re going to reap what we have sown in the future by minimizing this erosive action.
BTW… I think it’s pretty obvious whom is the immature one here. I’ve seen the aggregated effects of lying in many situations and it is a big deal. You obviously have little real world experience if you think that “simply not making a big deal” of a lie justifies it. If you analyze ANY major crime, you will typically find a point where a little lie instigated and escalated the critical event and significantly affected the outcome. It may not get the attention of the physical violence and more interesting details of a case but it’s almost always a salient factor in the fact pattern of a crime.
