I’ll save you time: 10. Virtua Cop 9. Die Hard Arcade 8. Radiant Silver Gun 7. Guardian Heroes 6. X-Men Vs Street Fighter 5. Saturn Bomberman 4. Sega Rally Championship 3. Panzer Dragoon Saga 2. Virtua Fighter 2 1. Nights into Dreams HM: Burning Rangers, Daytona USA, Fighters Megamix, Shining Force 3, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Other Games Shown: Clock Knight, Black Fire You’re Welcome.
I love your list! The one game you mention was the only reason why I wanted a Saturn instead of a N64 at the time was Die Hard Arcade! I still play that game and it never gets old to me!
NiGHTS at number one is absolutely perfect. I played it as a kid and now that I'm 30, I can still play that game and be enraptured by its awesome music and imaginative gameplay.
This was really cool to watch because I never owned a Sega Saturn. I played Virtua Cop in arcades. I mean, that game is still in arcades today. Fun game. Hard game.
chentemccloud yeah haha Sonic R was a guilty pleasure from the lone fact that it is Sonic in 3D, even Jam's 3D sections were cool the one that I didn't like was 3D Blast, I hated that isometric camera
Thank you for this. The Saturn was the most underrated console in history. The world missed out on some of the best games ever made. Owning the Saturn was probably the happiest time in my childhood.
aaah sega saturn. i remember buying one. going in, expecting nothing, popping in sega rally and i was pleasantly suprised. maybe it wasn't playstation but aside from that i was suprised how good this console was. kept buying the games i could get at a store in the city. Vf2 wich blew me away graphically, nights into dreams made me go on to say that the saturn could do what psx could, fighting vipers, etc etc the capcom games. what a console. one of the top 3 sega consoles.
Growing up, I played a lot of games not mentioned here, like Mr. Bones, Three Dirty Dwarves, Baku Baku Animal, and Bug! I'm surprised none of those even got an Honerable Mention.
I downloaded an Android Saturn emulator just to play 3 dirty dwarves lol and yes it works everything except saves states but no worries after you complete a level you can select it in options
Greatest console of ALL TIME! I don't think I could do a top 10 list for Saturn, there are just too many fantastic titles I would inevitably have to leave out and feel guilty about;)
People love to talk about how bad the Saturn is but I remember getting one after only having 8 or 16 bit systems and I was blown away. I got it with Nights Into Dreams and it was an epic game along with the Panzer Dragoon games. I think it's right up there with the Nintendo 64 and PlayStation. The problem wasn't that it was a bad console it was just that very few quality developers made games for it.
For me one of my most favorite Saturn games was Mystaria: The Realms of Lore, also known as Blazing Heroes. It was my first strategy and rpg game I ever played, The game meant so much to me and I still have it to this day. I cant even begin to count how many times my brother and I have beaten this game.
Gotta agree... please always see it as being a bit cheesy for the music and the fact it's not a traditional Sonic game. However, the tunes are all really catchy (I legit like them all), it's lotsa of fun and the graphics are really impressive.
I'm so happy to own working copies of most of the games in this video. I love old school gaming. I enjoy them so much more than most current gen stuff.
Science the Pony Dragon Force was the #1 game for me on the sega saturn. Thankfully, I can play it my PC. But, nothing beats playing it on the console.
Almost my entire Saturn collection would've been a good choice for this list, but it would've been a top 20+ instead. My collection includes: Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining the Holy Ark, Shining Force 3, Grandia, MagicKnight RayEarth, Albert Oddessy, Warcraft 2, Legend of Oasis, Dragon Force 1 & 2, Guardian Heroes, Street Fighter Alpha 1, 2, and 3, Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Xmen vs Street Fighter, Final Fight Revenge, Vampire Savior, Nightwarriors, Dark Legends, Pocket Fighter, Super Puzzle Fighter, Sonic Jam, Nights into Dreams, Myst, Burning Rangers, and several more games that were decent but not as acclaimed as most of the other games I listed above. I played that Saturn for hours everyday since it was released, and that was while balancing a 30 hours a week job, full-time college studies to become a teacher, and the first few years of my marriage. The Saturn provided more fun memories than anything else did back in the day. Pro Action Replay cartridge was so sweet!
I like your number 1, I think Panzer Dragoon Saga is a contender for best RPG of all time (regardless of system) ... but there are so many great RPG's!!
Absolutely. I had both a Saturn and a Playstation and had already played Final Fantasy VII thinking nothing could top it. Then Panzer Saga came out and blew my mind. It was close between the two, but I would have to give the Edge (pun intended) to Panzer Saga.
Glad to see Panzer Dragoon made it on there; the Saga I only ever got to play on an emulator because it was never released in Australia. But I had Panzer Dragoon and PD Zwei. The orchestral music of the orginal by Yoshitaka Azuma was nothing short of jaw-droppingly beautiful, and I still listen to it to this day.
Hmm...its unlikely most people can get a copy of PDS, but there are quite a few other games that could help fill your list, which are probably still affordable...
The most innovative and fun, musical game I found was MR BONES! I remember laughing so hard that I couldn't believe it. And I love the message of the game. Very great characters, varying game play and super cool video scenes. And I would take Need For Speed (the very first one) to number 2. Mostly for the music, but also for the crazy driving. Unmatched!
I had a blast growing up with my Saturn. I was hoping to see more of my favorites on there like Magic Carpet, Virtual On, Panzer Dragoon Zwie, Croc, and Bug 2.
Thanks for this video! One HUGE aspect of Guardian Heroes you skipped was having 10, 15, 20(?) enemies onscreen at a time, all actively trying to kill you! When Han swings his sword through 8 baddies at a time, it's pure zen.
I loved the Saturn, wish I'd owned one. Would sometimes have a swap around from time to time with my mate and he'd borrow my Dreamcast and I'd borrow his Saturn, good times. Surprised Tomb Raider 1 isn't on here since it was well recieved at the time and was released on the Saturn first.
Holy sh*t, Die Hard Arcade! I couldn't remember what that game was called for the life of me, thanks lol. I used to play that in arcades all the time, at the time I didn't know it was a movie series. I've never seen the Die Hard movies. I also loved Virtua Fighter, I played that in arcades alot too. I never owned a Sega Saturn though.
I just remembered, I used to play this arcade at Golden Skates alot every time I went up there lol. I'm just glad I remember what it's called, just watched a playthrough of it. Lovely nostalgia.
#10 - I still play this game often today. One of the greatest light gun games I've ever played! #9 - Who cares if it has little to do with movies, but it is a great exclusive. #8 - Not a fan of those type of games. #7 - Great game that's certainly one of the Saturn's greatest exclusives! Give it a try! #6 - I'm not a fan of fighting games. #5 - Looks great, but I don't care for this one. #4 - One of my all-time favorite arcade games of all time! #3 - One of my Top 25 favorite video games of all time! Well worth the $250 I paid for it! #2 - I'm not a fan of fighting games, but receiving this one with my Saturn wasn't so bad. #1 - Definitely one of the greatest and most innovative games ever produced by Sega, and it's no longer exclusive on the Saturn. Don't miss this one if you've never played it! My Hon. Mentions - Shining the Holy Ark, House of the Dead, Burning Rangers, Shining Force III, Panzer Dragoon Zwei, Iron Storm, Mega Man 8 (Saturn version is superior to PSX version).
Panzer Dragon Saga was what ICO and SotC where to PSX. Amazing art style, music and story. Glad I got a copy... Only wish Sega release it updated for everyone to play. Its a must play for a true gamer.
Definitely my favorites that I had for my Saturn were Astal (short but very good) and Battle Arena Toshinden. I still have the disks and intend to get another Saturn to play them again.
I miss my Saturn so much, the Panzer Series was excellent. Also had a huge soft spot for Die Hard Arcade and later Dynamite Cop. There were a lot of good games on the system really. Legend of Oasis, Shinobi (despite digital characters), Sonic Jam, Scudd, Magik Night Rayearth, Shining Series, Megaman, Burning Rangers... Saturn was great.
Well to their credit, I do own several saturn games including Nights and Burning Rangers. So I can verify that Nights really is one of THE best games on the system, at least in my opinion anyway.
+The Spit Dragon (Spitty) yep! Played that demo disc plenty-along with that terrible Clock game and the awesome HR derby in that otherwise awful baseball game.
That was a mind-blowing game... I was happy to see #3, #5 & #8 on the list, was expecting to see Assault Suits Leynos II in there but it's a very difficult and not that popular game. Vampire Savior anybody? Antiignorant is true to his tag with Virtual On, I got 2 sets of the Twinsticks for versus!
Good to see "Virtua Cop" and "Diehard Arcade" on the list, as well as "Street Fighter Alpha 3" as an honorable mention. Sega Saturn had some good titles to play.
I'd advise lots of education first. Seriously, the Sega Saturn is an amazing console for the day and has one hell of a library. The biggest issue is that 90% of the games were never ported over to English. This means there is an insane collection of really awesome title which all happen to be in Japanese. Many of them have English Menu options but not enough. Sega Saturn also offers the ever coveted Red Label titles.
This list of games all basically take full advantage of the Saturn hardware which was complicated and poorly documented. Can you imagine what games would look like if devs stuck with it and the system did well? Just these few games from 94-96 look better than the majority of the N64 and PS1 lineups until 1998! I mean compare Cruis'n USA to Sega Rally Championship, or Panzer Dragoon to RPGs like FF7. Sure in 1998 we had Ocarina of Time, Metal Gear Solid, etc. - but then compare those to late life cycle games for Saturn like the Shenmue Saturn footage. I really think Sega should have stuck out with the Saturn a bit longer, or heavy handedly ended the Genesis line to push the console in 1994 in the States. It's such a shame considering its fairly large library and success in Japan.
I agree, I'm sure I have more import titles for my Saturn than domestic. Same thing happened with the Dreamcast... I couldn't believe how early they ended it here. Your true fans miss you SEGA!!
The Dreamcast came out too early, people weren't ready, they were the first with their own online game library... sad to know that now it's all we use... they could've been far ahead of PlayStation, probably leaders ... and maybe the Xbox would've been never launched...
NiGHTs Into Dreams is one of the best Sega games ever made. There was another game i owned for the Saturn where you played as a bug, but i cant remember what it was called. It was a great game
I have always wanted to play Fighters Megamix. It was the first fighting game to featured characters from different franchises kind of the way Super Smash Bros is now. It featured characters from Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, Virtua Cop, Rent-A-Hero and Daytona USA.
I am a bit disappointed that Street Fighter Alpha 3 is not number one or at least number two, since 3D games seem to be the concept of this best list. It is one of the few 2D games that incorporates all of the Saturn's features. These include, but are not limited to: 1) Auto saving. 2) Using all of the processors separately for best sound quality and animations that even the Dreamcast failed to have in its port. 3) Background loading during gameplay for no loading times in-between matches. 4) Internal clock. 5) Highest Resolution. It looks better, plays better and sounds better than any other home console port to this day. The Alpha Anthology just ported the bad Playstation version and the Playstation Network revisited the bad port once more. The PSP remade it, but in the end it forgot about those animations again. The Dreamcast port is the only arcade-perfect port in terms of gameplay and no loading times like the arcade, but the Saturn port is the indefinite port due to having all of the features that the arcade version has as well as copying the exact nature of it flawlessly. It honestly feels like you took the arcade version home with you as it looks exactly the same. Also, the gameplay is actually tighter than the Dreamcast port as well and having the 6-button setup is superior to it by far. Oh, and let us not forget that awesome d-pad the Saturn has which is flawless for fighting games to perform those combo moves. Even though it fetches for high prices, this port is worth getting your hands on.
+Luigi84289 Huh? How is something so small as bad dubbing (which can even be funny sometimes) be worse than something that affects the actual gameplay like lag?
+megamarsonic Poor voice acting can single handedly destroy any immersion into the game. It's hard to take characters seriously if they sound like they're being voiced by the local middle school anime club.
+Jessie Edsell Well I guess that would suck if you're invested in the story, but not as much as having the actual gameplay wrecked due go technical problems. Maybe I would put voice acting higher while listening to an audio book or something but, kn video games, gameplay almost always comes first. Mess up the voice acting and I may find it funny or, at the very least, power through and keep aying. Mess up the gameplay and I'm through playing it no matter how good the other parts of it are.
The Hoard, Mr. Bones, Mystaria, Solar Eclipse, and D are my favorite Sega Saturn games. Ha, and I just realized that they are basically all unknown really obscure games. I swear though, they are all fantastic. Especially Mr. Bones
My grandma actually built computer growing up and she was the first person my block to have a SNES (didn't buy it for us). The next system she got was a Saturn and I remember playing Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter, and Pebble Beach Golf Links for hours. She still has that thing to this day.
TOMB RAIDER! First ever release was on the saturn! How could they miss that? That was supposed to be number 1! It went on to be one of the most ixonic franchises ever and started all on the SATURN.
Aw, I remember playing Virtua Cop! Can't believe it's been over a decade since I played it...the bowling alley I played it at doesn't even exist anymore :(
+Mitjitsu Well, sure. Some of them were indeed featured on this top 10. And to be fair, if only the game was 'completed' (If any of you played it and beat it, you know what I'm talking about)...it could rival the best of the best. Oh well. ;(
hahaha. Right. Right. Still, Albert Odyssey: Legend Of Eldean has the foundation of THE greatest JRPG made in history...if only they covered the loose ends.
Sega Saturn was such and underrated console. Sega knew their games back then. I almost didn't understand how Panzer Dragoon Saga wasn't #1, but you can't argue with Nights: Into Dreams either.
Keio Flying squadron 2. One of the best games of all time, let alone saturn games. Varied gameplay, interesting levels, fun power ups, amazing bosses, great music and a lot of extra unshockable little extras.
Sega Saturn deserves more praises and love. It was the only way to enjoy those arcade games at home.
highwayblowout Or if you were really rich you could actually own the arcade machines
***** or a neo geo
Unless you were rich
Yep. But now, neo geo CD consoles are ranging between $150 and $300. So, maybe not so rich.

I liked Duke Nukem.
Some that were missed. Astal, Legend of Oasis, Shining the Holy Ark, Dragon Force, Shining Force 3, Dark Savior.
The Saturn kicked ass.
At least SFIII got thee HM ... really surprised the others you listed did not at least get a SS cameo! StHA, DF, & DS make up my personal Holy Trinity
3 Dirty Dwarfs
I love your list! The one game you mention was the only reason why I wanted a Saturn instead of a N64 at the time was Die Hard Arcade! I still play that game and it never gets old to me!

Wow! A Top 10 for a Sega console without a Sonic game. I am surprised.
Sonic Jam was a compilation, Sonic R was a mess and Sonic 3D Blast downright sucks.
DragONheart27X still never stopped me from playing them when i was a kid
chentemccloud
yeah haha Sonic R was a guilty pleasure from the lone fact that it is Sonic in 3D, even Jam's 3D sections were cool the one that I didn't like was 3D Blast, I hated that isometric camera
DragONheart27X A mess is kind of an understatement.
yeah it was bad but i used to love the music in 3d blast, although i never got pasted the first 2 levels :P
Thank you for this. The Saturn was the most underrated console in history. The world missed out on some of the best games ever made. Owning the Saturn was probably the happiest time in my childhood.
This video made me feel so nostalgic, I'm only 23 but I used to sega Saturn all the time with my brothers 😥
aaah sega saturn. i remember buying one. going in, expecting nothing, popping in sega rally and i was pleasantly suprised. maybe it wasn't playstation but aside from that i was suprised how good this console was. kept buying the games i could get at a store in the city. Vf2 wich blew me away graphically, nights into dreams made me go on to say that the saturn could do what psx could, fighting vipers, etc etc the capcom games. what a console. one of the top 3 sega consoles.
Now that I look at it, Nights into Dreams totally reminds me of Mario Galaxy's flight mechanics, they even share the spin when launching!
@Kaki Molis I'd argue Tekken did enough to make itself different from Virtua Fighter, especially with Tekken 3
Man Last Bronx and Fighting Vipers should be on this list too . Who's with me?
Shining the holy Ark, Virtua On, Ultimate MK3 and Tomb Raider ( It was released on Saturn before PlayStation).
Never did I ever think I would see this list. My first console and one of my favorites.
Can you feel the sunshine, WatchMojo?
Does it brighten up your day?
No
And don't you feel that sometimes
You just need to run away?
So many different things to see
Growing up, I played a lot of games not mentioned here, like Mr. Bones, Three Dirty Dwarves, Baku Baku Animal, and Bug! I'm surprised none of those even got an Honerable Mention.
+SuperChaosControl Yes! Or Virtual On and Battle Monsters..or Shellshock
+Justin Burnham Bug! and Virtual On were amazing! The level design for Bug! was so revolutionary when it was first released
I loved bug.
Yes the 3 Dirty Dwarves and bug should have been mentioned and I could mention others.
I downloaded an Android Saturn emulator just to play 3 dirty dwarves lol and yes it works everything except saves states but no worries after you complete a level you can select it in options
Greatest console of ALL TIME! I don't think I could do a top 10 list for Saturn, there are just too many fantastic titles I would inevitably have to leave out and feel guilty about;)
You just placed the best games of my childhood. Thank you. And Nights at #1? That game was beautiful.

Guardian Heroes, Saturn Bomberman and Panzer Dragoon Saga are probably my all time favourite games on the Sega Saturn. :)
Guardian Heroes was one of my favorite games when I was young. Great nostalgia moment.
I'm so happy to own working copies of most of the games in this video. I love old school gaming. I enjoy them so much more than most current gen stuff.
Dragon force....
Came here just for this comment... What an amazing game DF is. I still play it regularly on an emulator.
Stainless1369 I still have my copy for my Saturn =P but the console itself died years ago, so emulator is my only option.
Exactly my situation. I also still own Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Stainless1369 Sold my set for $600 years ago D= was short on cash and well you know...
Science the Pony
Dragon Force was the #1 game for me on the sega saturn. Thankfully, I can play it my PC. But, nothing beats playing it on the console.
Nights for sure!!! Spend most of my summer holidays playing that game over and over.
Good call!!!
This makes me want a Saturn. SO. BAD.
longarmsshow just get a emulator for pc or a smartphone
@@milans041 Works better for pc
There's way better channels that talk about the Saturn than Watchmojo. I recommend Game Sack, Classic Game Room and MetalJesusRocks.
I have 2 of them
Guess i get this as my next retro console. Love the classics
I wanna fly sky Highhh! , let's gooOoOO togethaaaa! " Daytona USA Best song "
A great list of Saturn games. I loved Sega Rally and Nights was amazingly fun.
I love Die Hard Arcade, I remember finishing the game with my dad, we had tons of fun with it :,)
Those games look amazing! I never played that game console, but it looks like it would be really fun.
Almost my entire Saturn collection would've been a good choice for this list, but it would've been a top 20+ instead.

+Marie Laudate ALL of the Panzer games deserve to be in the top 20 list.
Shining the Holy Ark and Grandia it should be in the top 5
i hear you tho i was in high school! my top five: 5. Shining the holy ark. 4. Grandia. 3 .Shining force 3. 2 .Dragon Force. 1. Panzer Dragoon Saga.
I like your number 1, I think Panzer Dragoon Saga is a contender for best RPG of all time (regardless of system) ... but there are so many great RPG's!!

Thanks for this video! One HUGE aspect of Guardian Heroes you skipped was having 10, 15, 20(?) enemies onscreen at a time, all actively trying to kill you! When Han swings his sword through 8 baddies at a time, it's pure zen.
nice list, love the sega saturn :) mine are all the panzer dragoon games, shining force 3 shining the holy ark etc. :)
i LOVED x-men vs. street fighter. it was a real arcade conversion done perfectly for a console.

You can get Dynamite Cop for the Dreamcast; it's the sequel to Dynamite Deku which came here as die hard arcade
I've never played or even heard of any of these games until James Rolfe
The 90s the last great decade.
so for the last 17+ years you have been living in misery? wow
no, not really. the last 17+ years haven't been miserable, just very meh
everything now is usually just so disposable and lacking any originality or heart most the time.
Nah the 200s had there moments beisdes the 90s wasmet that great video games use to cost 80 dollars
its the great actor of fox mulder from xfiles love your show by the way ^_^

#2 - I'm not a fan of fighting games, but receiving this one with my Saturn wasn't so bad.
#1 - Definitely one of the greatest and most innovative games ever produced by Sega, and it's no longer exclusive on the Saturn. Don't miss this one if you've never played it!

Called It!

+The Spit Dragon (Spitty) yep! Played that demo disc plenty-along with that terrible Clock game and the awesome HR derby in that otherwise awful baseball game.
Bug! deserves an honorable mention.
Ahhh shish kabob!
my favorite Sega Saturn game ever is Panzer Dragoon2 Zwei.. who is with me
That was a mind-blowing game...
I love it too
Certainly one of my favourites. It's a bit like asking me to choose which soft toy was my favourite as a kid... they were all damn good!
Good to see "Virtua Cop" and "Diehard Arcade" on the list, as well as "Street Fighter Alpha 3" as an honorable mention. Sega Saturn had some good titles to play.
I need to go pick up a Saturn

play Nights into dreams that a good game to play and Christmas Nights
My cousin had one and I played Nights, it was a great game. But some many others I missed I want to get a chance to experience..
Daniel Lopez well you can buy it on PS3 store or on XBOX360 store
@You'reAlwaysAWinner :O
I remember seeing Resident Evil 1 on Sega Saturn the first time, I was a kid and afraid of the graphics. damn how nostalgic
I had NO idea that the Sega Saturn had such cool looking games
NiGHTs Into Dreams is one of the best Sega games ever made. There was another game i owned for the Saturn where you played as a bug, but i cant remember what it was called. It was a great game
Bug...simply bug
I have always wanted to play Fighters Megamix. It was the first fighting game to featured characters from different franchises kind of the way Super Smash Bros is now. It featured characters from Virtua Fighter, Fighting Vipers, Virtua Cop, Rent-A-Hero and Daytona USA.
I am a bit disappointed that Street Fighter Alpha 3 is not number one or at least number two, since 3D games seem to be the concept of this best list. It is one of the few 2D games that incorporates all of the Saturn's features. These include, but are not limited to:
1) Auto saving.
I loved the Sega Saturn as a kid. My favorite game was Street Fighter Alpha 2!
Panzer Dragoon Saga should have been #1.
+andresisthename This.
Both of the “Cotton” games on the Saturn need to be on this list. They’re so much fun!
Streets of Rage is the legendary Sega game of all time so original for the time
*****. I thought it was just on Megadrive exclusively until Sega went Bankrupt
Reece .S I know right . I loved the three games.
Then you should play Streets of Rage Remake.
N/a?
I. Play
My god, thank you so much for reminding me about that Die Hard game, So much nostalgia and I almost forgot about it completely.
What about one of the greatest Castlevania games made, Castlevania Symphony of The Night?
darksouls45688 The Saturn version does contain extras, but it was a lazy port where they stretched the graphics, lags more and has longer loading.
Because is a port from the playstation
Good list. Here's my personal top 10:
1. Virtua Fighter 2
2. Radiant Silvergun
3. Machi
4. Enemy Zero
5. Sakura Taisen 2
6. Grandia
7. Elevator Action Returns
8. Bulk Slash
9. NiGHTS into Dreams
10. Princess Crown
The saturn is very impressive for it's time.
Actually no, its why Sega went bankrupt
The Hoard, Mr. Bones, Mystaria, Solar Eclipse, and D are my favorite Sega Saturn games. Ha, and I just realized that they are basically all unknown really obscure games. I swear though, they are all fantastic. Especially Mr. Bones
Make Top 10 Polystation Games.
I pretty much had all these games as a kid , the feels !
No Dragon Force :(
Nights baby!! that game changed my life :) The soft museum was legit! I bought the Wii version and was EXTREMELY disappointed
No Virtual On?
No Astal?
House of the Dead??
Clockerwork Knight??
Personally, I really loved Bug! and Clockwork Knight. I can see why they aren't on this list, but I thought they were magnificent as a kid.
Dragon Force no question!
My grandma actually built computer growing up and she was the first person my block to have a SNES (didn't buy it for us). The next system she got was a Saturn and I remember playing Virtua Cop, Virtua Fighter, and Pebble Beach Golf Links for hours. She still has that thing to this day.
I would've put Burning Rangers on the list and put Panzer Dragoon Saga at #1
Shining Force 3 is my all time favorite game. I was happy when it got at least mentioned :)
TOMB RAIDER! First ever release was on the saturn! How could they miss that? That was supposed to be number 1!
It went on to be one of the most ixonic franchises ever and started all on the SATURN.
Good call. Not known as a 'Saturn game' but its debut was on the Saturn and it's in most all time greatest lists.
Aw, I remember playing Virtua Cop! Can't believe it's been over a decade since I played it...the bowling alley I played it at doesn't even exist anymore :(
SONIC JAM!
A compilation of MegaDrive games..... smh
happy 26th anniversary sega saturn!!! :3
How the FUCK is Dragon Force not on here? No other game in history is like it, and you don't even give it an honorable mention??
Uuugh.
totally agree. awesome game. also Shining Holy Ark.
nick clark was waiting for someone to mention shining the holy ark, one of the best games I’ve ever played, dark saviour was also great
WOW!!!!! Never thought you guys would do this list.
Also, Nights is not a platformer. It's a......wait......what the hell genre is Nights in anyway?
NiGHTS is seriously the greatest.
The President Thanks. :-D
Dragon Force was one of my favorites. Cool characters and story, and had pretty good replay value
WHERE THE HELL IS ALBERT ODYSSEY: LEGEND OF ELDEAN YOU NEANDERTHALS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!
+Sagittaire There is about a dozen or so RPG's on the system which are better than that.
+Mitjitsu Well, sure. Some of them were indeed featured on this top 10. And to be fair, if only the game was 'completed' (If any of you played it and beat it, you know what I'm talking about)...it could rival the best of the best. Oh well. ;(
+Sagittaire I agree with you i loved the game.
+Mitjitsu ARe you counting the Japanese RPGs. the saturn only has like 9 or so RPGS. ( im not counting Dragonforce)
hahaha. Right.
Grandia ?
maybe only games that got released in the US counted
Keio Flying squadron 2.
One of the best games of all time, let alone saturn games. Varied gameplay, interesting levels, fun power ups, amazing bosses, great music and a lot of extra unshockable little extras.
My favorite Sega Saturn game is shining force 3
+arin elliott Great game; I just wish we got Scenarios 2 and 3 as they improved the graphics even further, and the story just got better.
Stephan Dolby yeah the story is better because I playing through them I'm on The third story of shining force 3
