People have to realize that both pro and air have the same 1/2.3 image sensor and 12mp camera. the air has 100mbps bit rate over the pro's 60mbps and also has a higher FOV at 85 deg. Along with software and newer tech the Airs video quality is slightly better (and i mean only just slightly). battery life and distance are not really a factor when 1. you should be carrying more than one battery and 2. half of the time you wont be traveling further than the (stated) 4km range anyway (furthest ive traveled is under 500m for my shots. Sure this drone isnt going to replace the Phantom or Inspire as that not the target audience. This drone is suited for people that are traveling and need something light but will pack a punch and doesn't slouch on video quality. the Mavic pro is just too big in my camera bag compared to the air.
A few things you failed to mention: Mavic air does not have missions / waypoints, the remote control can not be configured for manual exposure control (yet). The mavic pro has DLog, the mavic air only has DCinelike. To achieve similar dynamic range with the mavic air, you must shoot in DCine at -3 contrast for a flatter profile. The mavic pro has some sort of denoiser running at 0 sharpness so is best set to +1, the mavic air has corrected this and is best set to 0.
My Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 Pro were not immune to that problem. My little Mavic Air is standing up very well though. Wi-fi on it is very good - most impressed.
I was going to get the air after watching your video until I saw where DJI is releasing a new drone. Unfortunately it's been delayed, so I'm going to wait for it. Great video. Thanks for posting it.
Ben, as I have come to expect from you, another great side-by-side review of what is currently relevant in the market. On DJI's part, would liked to have seen a little lower point (better price spread) considering controller and connectivity differences.
Thanks so much! Yea it's always nice to buy at a lower price point ;) but I'm sure they are very targeted with pricing - can't get too close to the Spark price
Love your reviews. thank you. One thing I have found and was a killer for me was that the Air doesn't have GPS follow me (stick it up in the air, controller in your bag and it follows). I love that feature...
Can anyone explain WHY Pro is still more expensive if it's so bad compared to Air?? I don't think DJI are so stupid, do you? Air still losing on major, most important criteria-range.
The Air is superior to the Pro in many ways, and that's due to the progression of tech. The Pro 2 will be better again. The Pro occupies an upper tier in the lineup (but due to older tech performs worse in some areas). This is quite normal, like the Fuji X-T20 is a better spec camera than the older Fuji X-T1. DJI aren't stupid, it's just how companies operate. And to be fair, we really shouldn't fly outside of visual range - so the range limitation should not be an issue. Eventually, if we continue to fly 2 plus miles out, laws will come into place with restrictions like geo-fencing and app level limitations that will sorely limit what we can do with drones. I'm certain that will happen soon enough anyway.
The pro beats it in video tho , looks crispier sharper better lights , look @ 6.02 on the air its 1 roof on the pro you can see the tiles , shadows , and the doors ! ;)
Really good comparison, good job. I have both drones and I like them a lot on my channel. If I had to sell one right now, it would likely be the Pro, especially with the rumours about Mavic Pro 2 to be announced soon.
Great videos man! I’m new to camera drones mainly using racing/freestyle drones before now . I have now purchased the Mavic Air thanks to many of your videos and info. Can’t wait for it to show up! Thanks!
Such a great review, I would have to say a very accurate comparison. I just purchased the Mavic Air and started a channel to showcase the Australian landscape, after some more use I’ll also do a review on the Mavic Air from my personal experience.
Excellent, thorough review Sir. I was thinking the Mavic Air is the best choice for me for being the most portable, and your review has just cemented that decision. Thanks for the effort making that video
Great video. If you don't mind me asking, what city is that beautiful park at with the lake? My family and I were just watching your video reviewing the mavic air vs. the mavic pro because we have a mavic air, and we said, "wow!! that is a beautiful place!" Thanks again for your video reviews.
Hi Ben, Thank you for the great content. Beem wondering if you could give me a hint. I've bought my first drone Mavic Air, mainly for stills, and the image quality is not there. I shoot RAW, i know i do have to edit them, but the pictures are just not sharp, they look like blurry, but not motion blurr couse i normally shoot at quiet high shutter speeds. Lack of detail and sharpness, zoomed in at 100% in Lightroom, pictures look terrible. I don't know if i do something wrong, or there is something important i miss. Thank you
Ben, Thanks for the great side by side review. Most of other reviews leaning toward the Air which making me almost pulling the trigger. The lack of Acusync transmission technology in the Air is a deal breaker for me. Also maybe it just me but if the drone is too small it looks more like toy.
Thanks! Pro footage is overexposed in majority of clips, hence it seems the quality is worse, but I would really like to see the optimal results from both drones for comparison.
Hello and congratulations for your work. Can you give me some advice, please? Today, better to buy DJI MAVIC AIR or DJI MAVIC PRO? You would give me great advice. Thank you
The spark has the same "enhanced Wi-Fi" as the mavic air. In my testing when I used Android it lagged and glitches out on the live feed. When I used IOS this didn't happen.
I bought the Pro for its Cinematic 4K so that I have headroom to edit for final 3840 4K rendering, also Pro has D-Log which is kind of important. Pro is actually much faster than Air in real life because of it's higher ascending/descending speed which contribute to even more productive flight time.
Thank you for another interesting video of yours, Ben! Really appreciate it! But the only real-real comparison will be between MAVIC Pro and MAVIC Pro 2 when it comes out, hopefully soon!!! What do you think? Cheers from Argentina
Very good video with detailed information! However, I feel that this video comparison, as so very many like it, really down play some of the major disadvantages to the Mavic Air. I also don’t understand why there are so many videos comparing the Mavic Air to the Mavic Pro, and very few that compare the Air to the Pro Platinum. The few that are out there throw in the Spark which distracts from a direct comparison. I’ve had a Phantom 4 for about a year now and I plan to continue to learn with it before I upgrade to anything. So I don’t have a dog in this hunt. It just seems to me that all these “comparison” videos play like an infomercial for the Mavic Air. I don’t have, nor have I ever flown, either the Mavic Air or the Mavic Pro, so I have no opinion about either. The only opinion I have is the seemingly biased comparisons that are being made. To me, noise is a huge factor, as is battery life, and range. Just my 2 cents. 🤔
Thanks for the review! You just made me feel better about impulse purchasing the Mavic Air. Since I’ve only owned a Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro, this will be my first Mavic. Will be looking forward to delivery from DJI
Best review I've seen, very good job! I see a lot of aliasing on the mavic pro. I still passed on the air but may get one depending on the Mavic pro 2.
Thanks Ben!! Always great context and video. So confusing. I sold my Pro and bought the Air and the range is disappointing but more concerning is that your video and a few others show the dynamic range and detail is better on the Pro vs the Air? ARRRGH
I think you are wrong to speak of the flight times as a small difference. 6 minutes more is 28% more flight time. Combine that with the greater distance with clear transmission gives a significant thumbs up to the pro. I do expect a release in the future of a Mavic Pro with more optical sensors, which will be a good improvement, but please do not discount these two very significant advantages to the Pro.
Think about it... I have both, I get 21+ minutes out of the pro. The Air I get about 14. That's 7 minutes per battery, or for 3 batteries, 21 minutes. It's like having an extra battery.. 4 for the price of 3. That IS a big deal.
Me using mavic pro platinum. I know that the camera quality has lower quality than Air or Phantom. But im so happy with the secure feeling when flying it. I has more power with the wind, more accesory, good battery, and the most important was the super strong connectivity .
Good comparison. I'm considering buying a Mavic Pro but will probably wait to see what the Mavic Pro 2 will be like...maybe a 1" sensor? I have a concern though and wonder if you can comment on it. These drones represent a ton of highly complex technology put into a pretty small package. It's not surprising that things can go wrong. My main concern is DJI customer service. In reading through the Mavic Pro reviews on Amazon, 17% of reviewers gave this drone a one star rating. It's complex and users can screw it up but when reading through the review, the one thing that jumps out is what can only be described as very poor customer service at DJI. I'm wondering if you have had any experience with that pat of DJI. Except for owning a couple small toy drones a couple years ago I'm new to this and easily see myself having to contact DJI for help. The experience of so many others in this area scares the heck out of me.
I had a bad experience with DJI when my Phantom 4 Pro nearly fell from the sky into a reservoir for no particular reason. The DJI rep said that I might have to pay to get it repaired even though it was 3 weeks old!! He went on to say simply 'I don't know'. I sent it back to the shop where I bought it and got a refund. DJI has crappy customer service.... A real shame.
Yes, in this video definitely, but it's not what you can actually get from the Pro. I've seen better from both drones, sometimes air, sometimes pro wins. Basically both are amazing if you know how to.
@@bearsist mavic air isn't toy,, it is cosumer drone. Remember,, consumer drone. While pro videographer need more flight time & range to coverage, so definitely Air doesn't fit. Overall as a drone enthusiast , i pick air for image quality & portability, Distance is not my concern since i never fly a mile away.
How about the truth on comparing these 2 drones . Flight time a lot more on the Mavic Pro 1st thing . And the range and image transmission are not even close ! Camera is marginally better . These 2 drones should not be compared to one another in the first place . Two different class drones ! Yes the Mavic air is $200 cheaper but it should be about three or $400 cheaper because of the image transmission quality alone and serious lack of flight time . Like I said two different class drones . That’s my two cents worth thanks for reading .
They are different, but that's far from the whole story. The Air appeals to a wider audience than the Pro. I've had both and after extensive experience with both I can honestly say that if I were forced to choose one - the Air would win. It doesn't have the range to fly illegally out of sight, but I fly legally. It's batteries don't last as long - no big deal I'll buy 4 batteries instead of 3. It doesn't have the LCD screen - but then neither did my Phantom 4 Pro.... The Air is better in every other way - period. But if the Mavic 2 comes out and doesn't disappoint I'll buy that too. Always happy to have the best latest thing.... :-)
Dylan R it's absolutely no where near it.. they're both 4k ... The resolution is slightly different with cinema 4k as it crops the image a little it doesn't mean there's more detail. The actual clarity of the image is significantly better on the mavic air due to the higher bitrate. It means a lot when you've got a small sensor. I've got both and dont use the mavic pro anymore. Too much flickering and muddy details
Paul Fueri you're 100% right you hit it right on the nose the mavic air is only good for very short range the mavic pro I have great range in a residential area the mavic air doesn't even come close
As far as speed goes, I have gotten Mavic Air up to 43.3 (today actually). Now I was up high, 300 ft or so, and I prolly had a good wind but still. Give it some time to accelerate to full speed! 100 yards aint enough. I really think the Mavic Air is the better value, and I am not just saying that cuz I have one. I have no reason to upgrade to a Phantom or Mavic 2. The Air does everything I need and want. And it is very portable.
Colors look more natural with the Mavic Pro. Other than the 100 mbits/sec I am not impressed with the air. Patiently waiting for the Pro 2 or even Autel’s EVO drone to think about upgrading from my MP.
Mick Harrison not sure about “a lot” better, but just not enough to justify for me, and upgrade from my Mavic Pro. It’s evident from not only me but from tons of people saying the same thing. Awesome little drone, and would consider if I was coming from spark, but knowing that DJI is about to release their MP2 and Autel has their EVo in the horizon, I’ll pass on that grass for now... thx 😎
Munoz Family of 5 Autel aren’t releasing their one inch sensor drone anymore ... and the mavic pro 2 rumours are hot air based off one source...having both drones it’s obvious the bitrate difference and the same image signal processing sensor as the p4p puts it way ahead in the camera department.
Mick Harrison cool, still not sold on upgrading from my MP. Will wait for the next iteration, the Air still feels more of a Spark upgrade than anything else.
Munoz Family of 5 I hear a lot of people say that but than they don’t own it.. I thought that until I looked at the footage and the range was still more than enough.
But overexposed footage is not a problem of the drone. It just means that the settings aren't optimal. You can fix it with just turning down the shutter speed or iso. Seeing the pictures the dynamic range even looks slightly better with the Pro.
I like everything better about the image of the Air except I felt like the Dynamic range struggled a lot in the shadows......look again at the side by side like the doors on the houses or anything dark, and the air footage is completely blacked out while the pro still has some detail. Other than that I liked the air better especially in the details of the ripples of water
Regarding the video feed connection part starting from 3:49 minute which I dont think this is fair at all for the Mavic Air given the fact that Ocusycn is already better than wifi, still I believe this test is completely unfair for the Mavic Air. For example, the Mavic Air was flying at 71 feet height while using wifi connection slightly behind a house, as the Mavid Pro you are flying up to 80 feet height with Ocusycn technology and slightly behind the house.
Having both, there really is no comparison. It is fair. Things get choppy at about 2000 feet with the Air. I can go out a mile in my neighborhood with no issues with the Pro. Yes, that's farther than you should go, but the point is, you can fly a lot longer, and the transmission is a lot smoother with less latency. Also, as I've pointed out.. forget doing any reasonable video in sport mode with the air. People never seem to mention this, but while the air camera may win in P moce by a bit, the Pro wind shangs down in sport mode.
SESkey the mavic air is no comparison to the mavic pro you must be an amateur the mavic air has no range the video quality is better on a pro and the battery life is longer the stability is better on the pro the remotes has a screen you fly the mavic air in 9 to10 mile wind and you lose two to three minutes in flight time because it struggles in the Wind the only thing the mavic air has going for it is the gimbal. If Dji would have made it a little bit bigger and it would have the same range in flight and a little more time on a battery and a better camera then I would have went with it but they didn't I guess it's good for a small Park.one person on UA-cam send his back and bought a mavic pro because of the range was so bad and the short flight times DJI exaggerate with the flight times on most of their drones
not sure where you got that from. both pro and air have the same 1/2.3 image sensor and 12mp camera. the air has 100mbps bit rate over the pro's 60mbps and also has a higher FOV at 85 deg. along with software and newer tech the Airs video quality is slightly better. battery life and distance are not really a factor when 1. you should be carrying more than 1 battery and 2. half of the time you wont be traveling further than the (stated) 4km range. sure this drone isnt going to replace the Phantom or Inspire as that not the target audience. this drone is suited for people that are traveling and need something light but will pack a punch.
yes, or any other drone. I want to buy the mavic pro, buy i don't know if there is there a possibility that the drone can't fly anymore due to the fact it's old. i don't want to spend money and the drone just last for 2 years, for example.
Thanks a lot for this comparison... I don’t know what I will buy on 2018 may!!! There are a tons of footage comparison from Mavic Air to Mavic Pro!!! I live in Italy and is not possible use FCC mode!!! Without FCC the Mavic Air in Italy have max range of 500/600 meters :( this is very very poor distance. The law in Italy/Europe says 70 meters on high and 200 meters on horizontal distance!!! I love the Mavic Air and I don’t know why!!! Mavic Air don’t have OcuSync this is the real problem in CE!!! If I buy dji goggles, you know if OcuSync is present??? :) sorry for my bad English and thanks a lot bye bye
The picture of the Pro is a bit more washed out like you say but it shows a lot more detail, the Air's picture is too dark and loses a lot of detail because of it, just look at the buildings in the distance.
The enhanced wifi is actually pretty damn good. It's obviously no Ocucync but it's not way worst either. I had phantom 3 standard with alfa antennas and the mavic air stock enhanced wifi is so much better than even Modded P3S wifi. Max range for air is over 3 miles at the beach😃
mavic air disappointed me because it wont start from the boat... It just getting crazy and wont connect to GPS... Same thing happened at haiku stairs hike!!! Failed in the places that I bought it for!!!
I've watched over 50 comparison videos on these 2 Drones and by far your is the BESST!!!
THANKS
Thanks so much! I appreciate your kind feedback
A few things you failed to mention:
Mavic air does not have missions / waypoints, the remote control can not be configured for manual exposure control (yet).

It does have full manual mode now.
such a great video honestly, quality of the review is superb! good job brother
Much appreciated 🙏

AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke I like the wide angle on the *Air's* camera ... Btw which is your daily driver phone???
I'm currently on the LG V30, still addicted to that wide angle (and use it everyday :)
When you lose your WiFi connection and the Air crashes you might want to remove this video
My Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 Pro were not immune to that problem. My little Mavic Air is standing up very well though. Wi-fi on it is very good - most impressed.
@David - Okay sounds good thanks
"till next time. let's live authentech". i like that catch phrase haha. yeah why not, ben. do a drag race 👍🦅
Mavic Air VS Mavic Pro Platinum
when come to camera or video, side by side comparison is the best way.Great job.
Thanks!
I was going to get the air after watching your video until I saw where DJI is releasing a new drone. Unfortunately it's been delayed, so I'm going to wait for it.
Great video. Thanks for posting it.

Love your reviews. thank you. One thing I have found and was a killer for me was that the Air doesn't have GPS follow me (stick it up in the air, controller in your bag and it follows). I love that feature...
Yes it has GPS.
Regarding the wind sensitivity, I'm not surprised the Pro was more affected by wind as the projected surface area of the pro is much bigger.
Love your comparison videos
Can anyone explain WHY Pro is still more expensive if it's so bad compared to Air?? I don't think DJI are so stupid, do you? Air still losing on major, most important criteria-range.

the air isnt any better than the pro thats why, and u can get the pro as same price if u watch on ebay or sth
Ocusync and battery life. Just say no to modified wifi.
Mavic air have poor poor poor range. 300m and you will get weak signal notice.
From what i've seen Mavic air produces dark colouring like DC movies and Mavic Pro is lighter and brighter.
What ND filter was you using? At one time you was directly in the sun and it had zero glare.
I like my mavic pro as it's beefier and has quite a lot more battery life and dosnt get attacked by seagulls
Hahaha so true. There was a moment when my mavic pro platinum killed a small bird up in the air by accident. And my mavic pro still fly like a boss
Great videos man! I’m new to camera drones mainly using racing/freestyle drones before now . I have now purchased the Mavic Air thanks to many of your videos and info. Can’t wait for it to show up!

Glad they helped! 👍
Such a great review, I would have to say a very accurate comparison. I just purchased the Mavic Air and started a channel to showcase the Australian landscape, after some more use I’ll also do a review on the Mavic Air from my personal experience.
Stunning video, solid comparison
Thanks Artur Adam
Excellent, thorough review Sir. I was thinking the Mavic Air is the best choice for me for being the most portable, and your review has just cemented that decision. Thanks for the effort making that video
So how does Mavic pro platinum compare to the air
Both great drones !! Ordered a Pro..better batter life, range and controller !! Can’t go wrong with either though.
Great video. If you don't mind me asking, what city is that beautiful park at with the lake? My family and I were just watching your video reviewing the mavic air vs. the mavic pro because we have a mavic air, and we said, "wow!! that is a beautiful place!" Thanks again for your video reviews.

Epic review as usual, Ben you killed it!
I agree the Mavic Air is a great drone except for the shorter range.
Thanks so much!
Egyptian Doctor and shorter flight time
Thanks! Pro footage is overexposed in majority of clips, hence it seems the quality is worse, but I would really like to see the optimal results from both drones for comparison.

With them both the same price, what would be your pick? Costco sells the pro for 799
So now that you have had this much time with all of them do you recommend the air over the pro with the price point so close?
Wait for the new Mavic to release soon
Great video I have mavic pro but this video made me to thinking over and switch to mavic air in future.
Wow really?
Thank you for another interesting video of yours, Ben! Really appreciate it! But the only real-real comparison will be between MAVIC Pro and MAVIC Pro 2 when it comes out, hopefully soon!!! What do you think? Cheers from Argentina
It could be a long time until that next one comes out, but we'll see!

Just my 2 cents. 🤔
Great stuff. Great review!
Great review!👍
I'm getting a mavic air for my birthday. So this video,Has sold me even more on this drone.
Thanks for the review! You just made me feel better about impulse purchasing the Mavic Air.
Since I’ve only owned a Phantom 4 and Phantom 4 Pro, this will be my first Mavic. Will be looking forward to delivery from DJI
I was waiting!!
Please do for spark and midrone too!
Ben you just made me wanna buy an Air,great reviews and keep up the great videos,
Benniekins, your voice is sooo soooothing!
did you get the air to review for free ? just curious.
😎🇺🇸 Good Comparison I like the Mavic Air great job 👍✌🏻
Mavic pro is only $799 on Amazon
البشير شو
Nope cheaper
Can you get the typhoon h plus when it has been released and can you compare the typhoon h to the Xiami mi drone ?
I thought the camera is 32MP on the air not 12MP like you mentioned due to the the 32 MP Sphere panoramas spec. Am I missing something?
The pano 32MP is when images are stitched together (added together)
AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke ahhh I see thanks for the clarification
Best review I've seen, very good job! I see a lot of aliasing on the mavic pro. I still passed on the air but may get one depending on the Mavic pro 2.
Que chevre tu video..pero me interesa los cuadros de cuerdas que están en la pared.donde los consigo ? Gracias
Thanks Ben!! Always great context and video. So confusing. I sold my Pro and bought the Air and the range is disappointing but more concerning is that your video and a few others show the dynamic range and detail is better on the Pro vs the Air? ARRRGH
Doug Larsen hey would you buy pro or air?
I love the focus thing in the mavic air cause tapping the focus all the time on the Pro was just horrible 🤪
I always love your videos

I had a bad experience with DJI when my Phantom 4 Pro nearly fell from the sky into a reservoir for no particular reason. The DJI rep said that I might have to pay to get it repaired even though it was 3 weeks old!! He went on to say simply 'I don't know'. I sent it back to the shop where I bought it and got a refund. DJI has crappy customer service.... A real shame.
Video quality is everything. Air wins
Yes, in this video definitely, but it's not what you can actually get from the Pro. I've seen better from both drones, sometimes air, sometimes pro wins. Basically both are amazing if you know how to.
The mavic is a toy compared to the mavic pro
@@bearsist mavic air isn't toy,, it is cosumer drone.
Remember,, consumer drone.
While pro videographer need more flight time & range to coverage, so definitely Air doesn't fit.
Overall as a drone enthusiast , i pick air for image quality & portability, Distance is not my concern since i never fly a mile away.
I sold my mavic air and bought mavic platinum! Thank you!
Lesther Deza how do you like it
Lesther Deza how do you like it? I bought a Platinum and now I feel like the Air is the better choice
@AuthenTech - Ben Schmanke: Wich Camera settings you use on the Mavic Pro, it looks very beautiful. It wassent d-log?
How about the truth on comparing these 2 drones . Flight time a lot more on the Mavic Pro 1st thing . And the range and image transmission are not even close ! Camera is marginally better . These 2 drones should not be compared to one another in the first place . Two different class drones ! Yes the Mavic air is $200 cheaper but it should be about three or $400 cheaper because of the image transmission quality alone and serious lack of flight time . Like I said two different class drones . That’s my two cents worth thanks for reading .
Paul Fueri camera is a lot better ...I have both. In video you can’t compare with 100mbs
Too much flickering and muddy details
lee simons you can fly it past 3.5km and that's past line of sight.
Paul Fueri you're 100% right you hit it right on the nose the mavic air is only good for very short range the mavic pro I have great range in a residential area the mavic air doesn't even come close
To make a real estate video, which one is better? Need advice
what does it mean when the hd symbol starts flashing? you still have full signal bars.
thanks
Signal has always been an issue with my mavic air
If it’s not blocked so much by buildings, trees, etc, switch the Air to 5.8ghz. Get more than double the distance
Munoz Family of 5 do u even have one? Camera is a lot better on the air.
Great review, very comprehensive, not just some fancy shots! :)
I found the footage to be better on the Mavic Air, the Pro looked overexposed a bit.
Thanks I agree! The footage is amazing
But overexposed footage is not a problem of the drone. It just means that the settings aren't optimal. You can fix it with just turning down the shutter speed or iso. Seeing the pictures the dynamic range even looks slightly better with the Pro.
The difference between ocusync and wifi is like night and day, I will stick with the Mavic Pro.
How come nobody talks about how the pro is the only done capable of rotating it's camera to vertical from horizontal and back?
How bad is the range? Should i upgrade from pro?
I just returned my air back because the range was very bad I'm getting a pro now
You can't compare the mavic Pro to the mavic air mavic Pro is advanced the mavic air is a beginner's drone just like the spark
E di wow
Why do you call it
advanced compared to the air?
I like everything better about the image of the Air except I felt like the Dynamic range struggled a lot in the shadows......look again at the side by side like the doors on the houses or anything dark, and the air footage is completely blacked out while the pro still has some detail. Other than that I liked the air better especially in the details of the ripples of water
Great review 👏. Thank You
Regarding the video feed connection part starting from 3:49 minute which I dont think this is fair at all for the Mavic Air given the fact that Ocusycn is already better than wifi, still I believe this test is completely unfair for the Mavic Air.
People never seem to mention this, but while the air camera may win in P moce by a bit, the Pro wind shangs down in sport mode.
the quality of the air footage looks much more smoother and less pixelated
I used to live there and fish for bass lol Madison Alabama how trippy!
I can tell the left is the air because the video is darker and pro has a flatter look
Nice Comparison!
OMG!!! Is that your ... home?! Amazing!! Where about on globe is this place?!!
You said "34" when you also said "34" at 2:34. All hail 34
I have the original Mavic Pro. And I also think the Mavic Air is better than Mavic Pro. But I plan to upgrade to Mavic Pro II instead of Mavic Air.
Is there a possibility that the drone can't fly anymore because it is old and don't have support in the APP anymore?
For the Mavic Pro? Mine still flies fine with the app
yes, or any other drone. I want to buy the mavic pro, buy i don't know if there is there a possibility that the drone can't fly anymore due to the fact it's old. i don't want to spend money and the drone just last for 2 years, for example.
The video looks more sharper on the mavic pro compared to the toy drone my choice is definitely the mavic pro
Bro which one good drone please tell him
on some videos of the drones video comparison the air is WAY better.. but here the pro is better
Awesome review
Thanks so much
Hey Ben I love and enjoy all of your videos
thank you!
Best review of it's kind!! Nd I will go for mavic Air
Hey, the Amazon link for the Mavic Air isnt working.... any update?
Thanks for the heads up! Just updated it: DJI Mavic AIR ➜ amzn.to/2u8QG2E
Can the Mavic air return to home from a moving boat?
Yes
It's easier to bring back detail from shadows than highlights - the Air wins that one.
The enhanced wifi is actually pretty damn good. It's obviously no Ocucync but it's not way worst either. I had phantom 3 standard with alfa antennas and the mavic air stock enhanced wifi is so much better than even Modded P3S wifi.
Max range for air is over 3 miles at the beach😃
where on earth are those lake houses located?
I like the mavic air's colors much more but the video's are sometimes too dark
2020 and mavic air is $999 and pro is $1200.. whats going on.. did the price went up.. im here in US
mavic air disappointed me because it wont start from the boat... It just getting crazy and wont connect to GPS... Same thing happened at haiku stairs hike!!! Failed in the places that I bought it for!!!
Pro has just more contrast and thats all
