Here is a quick little demonstration video on how to change the weak / dead 1620 Battery in your Chevrolet Aveo / Spark key fob. Once you remove the philips screw from the back, use your fingernail to pry the two halves apart. Then you can remove the small internal control module. The film that covers the 1620 is the hardest part to remove. Use your fingernail and firmly peel back the plastic layer. Then you have access to your 1620 battery. Place the new battery + facing up. Place the film back over the battery and squeeze the two halves back together.
