- I’m so excited to have finally shot photos with Kirstie Marie Photography! I’ve been dreaming of having photos done by her, and it just seemed fitting for her to shoot my first photos with Waylon!

Code Red has such an awesome temperament. He seems so chill about everything. And he's definitely good looking boy. Really, congratulations on him. He went to a fantastic home.

Katie you are so very lucky to own a horse of this caliber. His attitude is roll with the flow kind. I think he's been handled by a number of people and so I guess he hasn't bonded closely with anyone special. I think when you are handling him on a one to one basis, maybe then you could manage a closer relationship. With your personality, I think that's a good possibility. Take care and the best to and yours!

He must get exercise to stay in such good shape, not to mention loads of pampering for that mane and tail! Do stallions ever get to go out to pasture? Does he get to be around other horses? Would love to see a video about the daily life of a breeding stallion at some point!
Idk how him personally, but i have 2 full-time studs that breed yearly, and that's all they do and they both have big stalls with good size runs attached to there stalls and we make sure they have geldings on either side so they have company full time but those get worked daily and get turned out with one of there neighbor geldings out in the big 4acre pasture everyother day. I think it all depends on the people or how they want there studs to live!

That facility handles all of his needs as far as him being a stallion. From collection, preparing his semen, and shipping. They also handle his breeding contracts. Katie is not set up for that. And he is not the horse to start out on. This is where his former owners had him so he is in good hands.

I don’t get it…. I grew up with horses…. Why would you spend 1$ mil on a horse to not have it on your property…? There seems to be enough acres on her family’s farm, but he’s in Texas…? Personally…I’d keep that investment as close to me as I can…
