- This is Part 6 of Opening Up My MOTU Classics figures for Talk, Reviews and Comparisons with other Simular Masters of the Universe figures.
This Review includes the Masters of the Universe Classics figures such as Kobra Kahn, Webstor and Mekaneck.
You’re making me want to open all my Origins figures! 🤣
@@THE.KIOTI.01 lol. Most of my Origins figures are all open to begin with from all the reviews I did. I have a few doubles in card still. It's honestly the habit of opening up most of my Masterverse and Origins is what inspired me to let go of the control of keeping all those Classics in card still. I'm gonna keep about 18 of the rarest and most expensive Classics in card. The rest are coming out! Thanks for watching 👍
@@ThemanchlidDoes it mean Fisto stays MOC??
@@zubairsarwar815 No Fisto is on my list to come out of card even knowing his value!👍
@@Themanchlid Oh boy!!! Now you have me guessing as to which ones stay MOC🙂
@zubairsarwar815 I picked out 20 figures that will stay in card. I'll show later down road at some point. The Classics Slime pit He-man will be one of them for a hint.
Great video!! I enjoyed your stories! One my memories is We moved to new town an was living with my grandma for awhile an I had to keep my original Motu figs outside. They let me use a 6 ft wood trunk to store them in. Well everyday after school i would go play with them, i noticed at least one would be missing!😱🤔 Well it turns out neighbor's kid was jumping over fence an stealing them!! Never got the missing ones back!😭
@@jarellano1014 Thanks for taking the to watch this review and sharing your childhood memories with those Motu toys. Yeah I remember a situation were a kid that we played with would steal toys in his jacket from people's collection of figures if you let inside to hangout and walked away for a bit.
How many stories could we all tell regarding when/how we got the old vintage figures...I had both Webstor and Kobra Khan back in the day! Have the Origins now...would love to see Khan in Masterverse. Love your personal stories dotted through all your reviews! Truly personal and they resonate with the audience as we all have 'those' types of memories! Keep it up man!
@@chrisford2208 Thanks for stopping in to check out my MOTU Classics reviews and stories! Yeah I can remember so many little stories with each of these figures as a kid. That Vintage line and characters really had a sence of magic and creativity that stood out from anything else then. I also had an ankward and difficult childhood growing up with certain home issues. Maybe I'll talk a bit about that in one of my reviews at some point. It might help relate with other people who had simular circumstances as kids and how collecting the vintage MOTU figures or watching that animation help transport us to another world of fun! I can see the Masterverse getting into the Snakemen very soon! 👍
@@Themanchlid We probably all have a story like that too! MOTU was a break from reality that was magical and amazing! Love your content though...keep it up!
@chrisford2208 Yep! I totally agree and everyone has a personal or long lost childhood story of trama or sadness. However Many Toys like Motu saved us or just was plain fantasy fun. Thanks again for the support and interest to these Reviews and stories!👍

@@TheWandifan Thanks brother! Yeah these Classics are awesome! It feels great to take these figures out of package and really look at them now!👌
An absolutely awesome video!
@@aaronscott5882 These are definitely some of the best characters in the Classics line yet! Thanks for watching as always 👌
@Themanchlid Great work!👍
@@aaronscott5882 Thank-you 👌

@@raccabird8889 Thanks for checking the figures out!👍
Appreciate all of your classics figures! Love your stories from childhood. Btw...are you ordering Rio Blast tomorrow?
@@johnporter9073 Thank-you and I appreciate you spending time watching and listing to the review and childhood stories! The stories are a little longer with more details but I cut some of it out in editing to save time. Yes!! I am absolutely going for Rio Blast tommorrow!👍
Enjoying these reviews of Classics after all these years. I’ll never own them, Origins is enough for me, but they are excellent figures!
@@vocalhitman1 Thank-you! I appreciate your interest in these videos even though you never picked up the Classics. They are really fun figures for any Motu collection! The Origins is still one of my favorite lines next to the Classics!
More heavy hitters! Lets goooo!!! 🍿🍿🍿
@@Skyescavernlibrary Thanks again for all your interest on these videos! Yeah these are some of the best figures yet!!
Hooded Classics kobra khan is just beautiful. The 200x show made an everlasting impression.
@@wasabi-in-my-eye3134 Yeah the Classics adding the Hooded head for Kobra Kahn was treat! That really makes the figure stand out! The 200x cartoon Scenes with Kobra Kahn were always. awesome! Thanks for watching 👍
Wow, mean lady! I'm betting her son's Webstor doesn't look nearly as good as yours does. His may not even exist anymore, and if it does it's missing extremities. 😅 Well, if I can draw some type of positive from that story at least we can say that his mom was on the hunt something serious for her son. 🤔 Very nice figs and review on them. I know you're happy to be opening them all up and enjoying them more out of packaging. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for taking the time to check out these Motu Classics opening videos. Yeah I always think of that day and memories with seeing that first Webstor figure i wanted and that lady just showing up at the same exact time I was trying to reach him. I guess she was looking for that figure for her son. It was bizarre and dissapointing then. But I laugh at it now when I tell that story. I have plenty Webstor figures now! The Classics one was so worth opening just like all these figures!👍
Seen pics of new thundercats he man battle cat man looks awesome orko will be snarff snarff 👍✨️
@warrennewman5325 Oh yeah! I remember saying it would be cool to see a Motu Origins and Thundercats cross over during one of my Origins Turtles of Grayskull reviews! I can't believe months later Mattel actually announced that line coming to the Origins. The Battlecat looks really cool!👍
Dang that Webstor story is brutal lol
@@ioncewasmikey Lol. I always think about those memories when I look at any of the Motu brand Webstor figures. It's all good! I have plenty of Webstor figures now. That was a bizarre situation as a kid then. Thanks for watching 👍
@Themanchlid I have a similar memory about a jack-in-the-box at a flea market lol. I wanted it & my mom wasn't there to grab it so it got taken by someone else. 😆
@ioncewasmikey Yeah we all have those strange memories with toys as kids that went back 40 years ago. The Motu brand was something really interesting with the figures and all the different memories those figures had for many of us.
@Themanchlid The vintage MOTU was a little after my time but I did have some as a kid, mostly from yard sales. I've got a little Mekaneck story too- the one I had as a kid (again, from a yardsale) must have been broken & customized by the original owner because he actually had Clawful's big crab claw. So for the longest time, I just thought that's what he was supposed to look like! 😂
@ioncewasmikey Oh yeah many people would customize or modify some of those older figures back then. But it was still rare and usually they would be found like that at yard sales. I remember seeing a couple figures with modified parts that other kids some how got a hold of and I also those they were some kind of variant figure.
They reused the armour from Stinkor which had a hole in the back to attach his gas cannisters
@@Dan140183 Ah! Thanks for sharing that about the hole in the back. I haven't opened my Classics Stinkor yet. When I do, then I'll see the hole in that armor the both Mekaneck and Stinkor share but with the tank setup. Thanks for watching and sharing that info.👍
even my gi joe carded figures are coming out of the packages once i have a nice shelf for them,....carded figures takes a lot of space, opened, nope,.....transformers, tmnt, including neca, super mario, star wars,.....and mcfarlane superheros,.....and spider-man too and john wick, too, plus when michael jackon arrives in the mail, keep him in the box, a month or two, then out in the open to display him, and i hope the company comes out with a (PRINCE ) action figure too,.....if you remember JEM, i have her too, now i need the other 4 girls to form the band(but i pretend to form the GO-GO'S),...........marius(punk rules).
@@mariusbabii Thanks for checking out my video on opening Up My MOTU Classics! Yeah it's time to opening these figures Up! They take up to much room in the packaging. I'll keep 17 figures in card still because of the value. Yeah I Remember JEM from the 80s. That's great that you also took those figures out of card!👌
I don't think Masterverse Webstor is better than classics. Overall he looks skinny. Classics has a more powerful look more in line with vintage cross sell art and mini comics in general. I deliberately opted not to get the masterverse version as it did not improve the look. Sure there are double joints but skinny look was a deal breaker for me.
@@ivanmarlovic5551 Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts! The Classics figures will always be my first pick in the end because of thier Vintage inspired designs going back to the Original figures or even the Origins figures. The Masterverse Webstor has some better details and stands out in it's own way. I read many comments from people who really want that figure and can't get one now. I think most people who have the Classics figures will always choose them first over Masterverse.
