The lead composer was really into our song "Science" because it reminded him of the original ME's end credit song by The Faunts. But then the game was delayed. Then there was a studio take over from EA. They wanted to go in the direction of their choosing. The composer emailed me back telling me that he no longer holds any sway with the new crew. GiRayne I agree with you completely on the game being overall a fun experience, and that EA should've pushed the release back, rather than deliver a game that felt it was still in beta stage. By "rocky start" I mostly meant the reception of the game. People tore it apart because of the bugs and the unpolished animations. I never really listened to this song until this week, even though I love her entire discography. Before now, I could only recall the chorus. It wasn't until I was scrolling through her spotify last Saturday night that I actually stopped and listened to it. In the strange way our universe works, it was exactly what I needed to hear. My grandmother was very sick and died the next day. "They have only fallen asleep..." the words wrapped around my hurting heart like a hug I wanted so badly to feel from her, and even though her arms weren't really there, I still felt all of her love. This is what true art does
First heard this song on the radio. I was sad and didn’t really want to walk into a house that gave me a lot of anxiety…the rain was coming down while sitting in the car when this song came on. I got goosebumps. I called the radio station almost frantically, was a little worried I might bother them, but the radio station person was stoked to find the name of the artist for me. Ever since then I’m extremely happy she has become popular, her music wasn’t the cure to my problems, but they comforted me. ❤
The old Aurora is just as real and available to listen to as she ever was. How can you miss something that's still right where it's always been? It hasn't gone anywhere, just click play on the video above.
Everybody writing about how inspirational this is, how she should be more famous, how they came from Mass something, and how she could be a special creature while I’m sitting here admiring her hair.🤷🏾♀️
I think Aurora is and makes art in its purest form. Not many “artists” do that nowadays (not that I blame them. Aurora does more than we could ever expect from anyone, and I am eternally grateful for her existence in the same time and space as mine)
i just lost my rabbit… this helped me feel a lot better. thank you, aurora. edit: i just lost my great grandma. again, this helped me remember she’s ok and better now. edit 2: great grandpa died today. this helped, but i still feel a lot of guilt
Two years later and I can't believe how far she has come. It seems like just yesterday I learned of her existence and cried to the only video on her channel.
I love how everyone considers Aurora an angel or a siren for the way she sings and the music she makes, but I'm more into the idea of her being a common human being. just like everyone else, she breathes and lives her life making music that resembles the human feelings and that's why I love her music so much. she makes music for the ones who need it and every note she hits just feels so...human.
Outstanding message and its true you cannot eat money well done Aurora sing for those who cannot sing speak for those who have no voice time is of the essence and we are quickly running out of it!Salute
There is something so beautiful and ethereal about her music. This song is absolutely breathtaking, and somehow so vibrant and chilling simultaniously. I love her.

This song really touched my heart. It's peaceful and beautiful thinking that someone you have lost is only sleeping. Rest in peace, Grandma.
As Mass Effect Andromeda's ending credits roll, and this song started playing-- it seriously moved me and gave me goosebumps. New favourite song.
Mass Effect: Andromeda
" We made it. "
0:00 a legend was born
Her first song is "Puppet"
This song recently turned 10 years old!! That’s crazy, I wish I knew of its existence back then!! Absolutely beautiful 😭
this song deserves 1b streams fr
How many 18 year old girls write their own original music in today's commercial music scene. Not many.
+bardo0007 Ikr?
lorde and aurora only i guess 😂
+ebrahim sari alessia cara too
She's becoming more and more famous though! :3
I can wait to start hearing her songs on mainstream radio stations
*9 year olds, she wrote her most famous songs at 9 and 11
Aurora ❤🤗
UNDERSTAAAAARS WE ARE ALOOOONE
First heard this song on the radio. I was sad and didn’t really want to walk into a house that gave me a lot of anxiety…the rain was coming down while sitting in the car when this song came on. I got goosebumps. I called the radio station almost frantically, was a little worried I might bother them, but the radio station person was stoked to find the name of the artist for me. Ever since then I’m extremely happy she has become popular, her music wasn’t the cure to my problems, but they comforted me. ❤
Perfect song for Mass Effect Andromeda's ending credits. Perfect choice. Thank you Aurora!
Miss the old Aurora :(
Same:(
@@jillbee_101 me too
The old Aurora is just as real and available to listen to as she ever was. How can you miss something that's still right where it's always been? It hasn't gone anywhere, just click play on the video above.
9 years!!!! 9fk years!! I feel so old 😢
The amount of emotional depth in a song written by someone so young is mindblowing.
Her songs are feeding my soul.
I'm grateful.
Only just heard of this song on the credits for Mass Effect Andromeda and I gotta say she's pretty good
Hands off for Aurora creating a playlist specifically for "metal-people"!
"We made it"
Yaaaasss
It was a beautiful experience. Filth with glitches, but beautiful
A fantastic game...Criminally Underrated
Fantastic, but ruined by it´s rushed development and emotionless script
Just came from Mass Effect: Andromeda. This song was a perfect pick for the ending credits.
andromeda, its only the beginning
I got to admit it's nice to hear a song at the end of video game credits rather than just orchestra music
Can't stop listening!!! Love this! It's so entrancing with it's heavy beats and light instrumentals. The lyrics really hook you!
DO YOU KNOW THAT YOUR THE FIRST COMMENT ON FIRST VIdeo Of AURORA
@@imcarrot6040 lmao you did the same thing
The first Warrior and Wierdo :0 ❤️
The first one to comment on the first video of Aurora ✌️
i was finding the first comment, you are awesome
Everybody writing about how inspirational this is, how she should be more famous, how they came from Mass something, and how she could be a special creature while I’m sitting here admiring her hair.🤷🏾♀️
Love the static sound in the background, it's so relaxing.
I think Aurora is and makes art in its purest form. Not many “artists” do that nowadays (not that I blame them. Aurora does more than we could ever expect from anyone, and I am eternally grateful for her existence in the same time and space as mine)
When I have panic attack i listen to Aurora, and then I don't have panic attack anymore. Thank you ❤️
Me too! Queendom used to help my panic attacks
i just lost my rabbit… this helped me feel a lot better. thank you, aurora.
edit: i just lost my great grandma. again, this helped me remember she’s ok and better now.
edit 2: great grandpa died today. this helped, but i still feel a lot of guilt
Two years later and I can't believe how far she has come. It seems like just yesterday I learned of her existence and cried to the only video on her channel.
Can’t believe it’s been 8 years now
I love how everyone considers Aurora an angel or a siren for the way she sings and the music she makes, but I'm more into the idea of her being a common human being. just like everyone else, she breathes and lives her life making music that resembles the human feelings and that's why I love her music so much. she makes music for the ones who need it and every note she hits just feels so...human.
THEY HAVE ONLY FALLEN ASLEEP
Outstanding message and its true you cannot eat money well done Aurora sing for those who cannot sing speak for those who have no voice time is of the essence and we are quickly running out of it!Salute
Aurora's music makes me want to get on my hands and knees and run like a wolf through the night. Not even joking she's my spirit animal.
Xd ?
SAME
Wow. This song has a different hit that's not present in any other.
this song is so beautiful it almost brings me to tears. I heard this at the end of ME andromeda and immediately looked it up
"We turned our backs upon a dwindling star, to chase a dawn beyond our childhood's end."
Thank you for providing your music to Mass Effect Andromeda
I love it! It was the Mass Effect Andromeda credits song ❤
There is something so beautiful and ethereal about her music. This song is absolutely breathtaking, and somehow so vibrant and chilling simultaniously. I love her.
Brynne Mershon me too ... as do many of my friends ... finding her songs very eerie sometimes, but not in a lasting way 👩🏻🦳 what a real talent, I feel privileged to see her create.
This is awesome! I started listening to her last month and then Mass Effect:Andromeda comes out and what do you know? The end credits is Aurora. What a coincidence!
The moment when your favourite gaming company puts your favourite singer's song at the credits of a new game from your favourite series. Mass Effect Andromeda
Last song of a fantastic game! This is such a beautiful peice.
I JUST FOUND YOUR MUSIC! I LOVE IT AND I LOVE YOU, IS SO GOOOOOD CAN'T WAIT FOR HEAR MORE
I’m shook, how can someone have such a beautiful and original voice?!!
I don't know!
This is one of my favourite songs ever, it has such a unique vibe....and the melody at the end is so beautiful......
Reading the comments, I'm just super and irrationally proud that AURORA's song was featured in a franchise as big as Mass Effect
