While "Blaze" was their first official single release, "Delight" was the first song they wrote together as a band. Yeah, from what I understand, Iree (guitar, orange hair) and Arem (Bass) were in Rolling Girlz, while Jayoung (vocal, keyboard) and Yeong Eun (Drums) were in Rose Quartz. They played a gig together and decided to merge. They knew Hyunjung (guitar, blue hair) who had recently decided to put down the guitar to pursue something else. They talked her into joining and Rolling Quartz was born.
FYI Freddy - Rolling Quartz are an organically formed Rock band. RQ 💎 formed when 2 Korean rock bands - Rolling Girlz & Rose Quartz - decided to become one. Hence their name - Rolling Quartz. They debuted in 2020 under Rolling Star Entertainment - an Indie company - with the single and MV 'Blaze'. RQ 💎 is comprised of 5 members: Jayoung 💛 🎤, Hyunjung 💙 🎸, Iree ❤️ 🎸, Arem 🖤 B🎸, and Yeongeun 💜 🥁 . Fandom: RQ 💎 fans are known as Diadem 👑. RQ 💎 loves their Diadem 👑. RQ 💎 toured the US in 2023, and UK & Europe early 2024. Both tours were very well received. They've already announced their 2nd UK/EU tour (8 countries) which will commence in January 2025.
