I haven't been to that many concerts, but seeing them live in Paris last january was the best concert I have ever been. Bought the ticket to see them on their next tour in Munich next february as soon ad it was announced. Now I just happen to be in Seoul for a 2 week holiday, and when I checked instagram last saturday, they just announced they would be playing in a club in Hongdae the same day about 2 hours later😊. Well, I dropped everything and now Munich will be the third time I see them live😁
Was that the one at Club FF? I'd just _been_ in Seoul, but came home to the UK on the 11th, so I wasn't able to go to that one. Luckily, I _had_ just been to their solo concert a week earlier, so I wasn't as upset as I might have been. 😜
@@Brickerbrack Yes, thats the one. I absolutely love to see them up close in such small venues, It felt like it has a capacity of less than 100 people. Though they definitely deserve much bigger audiences. They played about 40 minutes, but it went so fast it felt like 5 minutes. I only arrived a week earlier, so no chance to see their solo concert, though, I will have to wait for Munich for that😀
@@dika8351 I actually went to Club FF to see them last October for the Halloween show they did with 5 other bands; again it was about a 35-minute set, and they _owned_ that stage. I was parked up _right in front_ of Hyunjung; I may not have seen as much of Yeong Eun as I wanted to, but it's hard to complain with a view like that... Hell of a first time with them. 🥰 I went to the London show in January, which was also my first time _meeting them..._ ...and then luckily they announced the July solo show with several months' lead, which was _unusual._ As it happens, I was already planning to go back to Seoul at some point; that decided _when._ 😜And it was _totally_ worth it. For the next tour, I'm doing London _and_ Paris... 😁 ( I may be slightly addicted to them... 🥴) They absolutely _do_ deserve a huge audience... but I'm glad that for now, they're getting a good mix; they get invited to play for big audiences at festivals, while we still get to see them at the more intimate venues...
While I like IREE's ESP, there is something about her old strat that just make me nostalgic. I saw this live as well and it is a great crowd participation song. Glad I'm not you. I really don't know where to rank it :p . It's getting crowded ;) .
1:15 For the record, the Korean title more properly translates as "Song of the Heart", and I think what the Crying Nut version is usually translated as. But heck, RQ make it their own anyway... 😜 1:25 Oh, I've got the stupid grin in place already... 🥴 2:20 I have a cheese brain, but I'm _pretty_ sure you've heard it live. 3:20 I seem to recall Crying Nut have always been one of her favourite bands, too, so she's living her best life... 🥰 4:10 That face seems entirely appropriate. 5:10 Theeeere we go... 😜 5:40 I'm feeling Yeong Eun's bass in my brain again... 😂 13:25 They've been playing this song for _ages._ Jayoung and Iree have even performed it _with_ Crying Nut... 18:40 You _have_ to call for an encore; it's the rules... Iree uses a wah pedal on this song. She doe a lot, but she really showcases it here. Cute in the video where Jayoung is working Iree's pedal.
One of my absolute faves from them. Iree with that smile and a wah wah pedal, what a combo !!!
Goooood !!
