On 2and August 2020, my best friend sent me this song, I loved it! And now that he has passed away, I had to listen to this song a second time for his remembrance !
Some may not like this duet but these two were real artists that co tribute greatly to a great time in music and the fact that we get to watch them (for free) is a blessing.
true, personally im not a fan of this version of glycerine, i think the woodstock 99 performance by gavin is great. gavin however is a huge inspiration for me, i saw an interview where he said he didnt get into any bands because of his voice not being the best but i love the imperfections in it, he aswell as gwen are true musicians and he is really inspiring me to sing myself while playing the guitar

On the release of this live show, they really cleaned it up. They balanced the vocals and really it sounds amazing. They even balanced in the audience screaming. Watching this is a bit lackluster, but who cares. Bush was one of my favs, and I also loved No Doubt back in the day. A fun time I’m sure for all in attendance!

However, EVERYTHING EVENTUALLY WOUND UP SOUNDING THE SAME. Especially at the end of the sub genres peak. Bands like Candlebox and Live were awesome and Everclear was my favorite
In high school, my girlfriend and I did this song for the fall festival talent show in our hometown because of this performance (I sang Gavin’s part, she sang Gwen’s) so it holds a special place to me because of that. Even if it hasn’t aged the best.
