The pursuit never ends. I wanted to see what open baffle can do since I love my subs so much. Well I can say without a doubt, you can get a massive bang for your buck with them. Finding the right drivers is key. It takes special driver characteristics. Also the reduction of crossover parts for the purest sound is important. There is only 1 capacitor on the tweeter. That’s it. We also opened up the back of that compression driver to get dipole sound. I added a rear diffuser and horn lens for better imaging. So much to discuss but the end result is staggering.
