Fantastic! (Very cool indoor playground:-) Good to see that Musical Paradise MP 701 in an advanced state of modification. I'm currently using a single 6sn7 and two 6922 with rectifier. What advantage to the pair of 6sn7? I will have to try that! 🎵🎶😊👌🎶🎵
I have to say it looks outstanding to me. Sound quality impossible to judge on a UA-cam video. You need a big room for that gear. My Elysian-4 speakers are large, but would be dwarfed by that rig. Is that a real DartZeel or a clone? Also, I think you need bigger caps in that dac. Those tiny ones are lost in there. 😉
Haha, Jim!! 😅 The amp is a clone of course, but it's causing a stir among budget audiophile folk. Might pick one up before the US tariffs ramp up next year;-)
I never thought of placing a speaker right next to a radiator, a treat for the wood or veneered MDF, plus a snip of low frequency radiation providing the base warmth.
The horn is altering so much the timbre of the cello, that it now has the timbre of a fart. That is not hi-fidelity when there is no Fidelity to the real instrument.
It would take years of study to come up with a less attractive setup. High marks for superbly ugly. Reminds me of an old joke about a drunk who took a dump in a tuba.
Its only a smartphone video. And for that is quite ok to get a taste. Tonalitywise the impressio. Is quite good . Soundstagewise impossible to record i know
Check your smartphone audio some time. Usually the mic itself seems decent but they bake a high pass in somewhere. Makes things sound kind of tinny @@hifiplayground
Grandios
Love this space, room and gear. Well done
The Transaudio D5Pro is an incredible amplifier, I LOVE mine.

@@mediascapes2011 open baffle bass is just amazing. The 8 characteristic makes it so lively and real . The bass ernergy is so smooth
You know tone is really hard to ascertain via UA-cam.....but telling when someone is being a snooty, condescending beeatch is easy.
May i ask, what driver is the 8 inch?
And what is the 2 pieces in the middle? Inverted horn firing to the ground?

Thank you
You're welcome
What's the big silver box in the middle with the red light? I take the the dartzeel china clone D5Pro is elsewhere?

Untrue . Horn isnt colouring at all. The cello is just there. Natural. In front of you .
