@@everydaysurvivalgear naah.. just recently starting my basic mod,(dont even have the basic electronic knowledge).. changing driver, bypassing spring.. its a learning process...watching you guys and the blf forum (still not able to log-in from my phone) and all the disccussions; its awesome😊👍🏼 ..and this rabbit hole of 'portable lighting apparatus' hobby i slide thru.. its just freakin' enlightening .. 😅 Cheers

You can program turbo mode on this UI so it has no step down. Realistically turbo will start to step down after a few minutes seeing as its doing close to 10 amps. So it really depends on what cell you use. Also you will have to watch how hot the light gets..

Hey mate you can change the resistor values on the convoy drivers for more output, peak amperage of the SFT40 is around 9.5- 10 amps.

Keep at it mate, you will have the hang of it in no time. You might break a few things along the way but it's all part of learning new things.

Can you compare ft03 sst40 dedome vs ft03 sft40?
Its pretty hard to dedome the SST-40 I've only ever had one work dedomed , I've had a few sliced SST-40 and throw was less than the SFT-40.
