KD is so amazing when he’s on the floor. The problem is it seems like he hasn’t played for more than two weeks at a time for the last few years. I’m afraid his wiry frame may not be able to handle the physicality of the nba in his later years. He’s so thin it just looks like his ankles could snap at any moment. I hadn’t watched a single suns game all year until KD showed up. This sport would be so amazing if there were no injuries…

Imagining a fully healthy warriors team in the conference finals is as close as they will get this year and I say that as a fan. They are have shown flashes of greatness at home but it says everything you need to know that a a healthy steph dropping 30-40 on the road in recent road games and they aren't even close to competitive. The chemistry is so bad and the lack of defensive effort so appalling that not even a healthy and in form Wiggins and GP2 can save this season. JK now out for at least a week or two now as well.
Personally i'm hoping for a humiliating loss in the play-in tournament so that the entire team is forced to confront the reality of where the team is at. They just need to go all in to try and contend or commit to a full rebuild. The core are too expensive and can't carry a team in the way they could. The entire league has improved and closed the gap on the team in 2015 that caught everyone unaware.
I still view the suns as the second contender in the West, but I don't see them beating the Nuggets if Durant isn't fully healthy and the team is able to gel very fast. While both of those things are doable, when the suns match up with the bucks, it's over. Giannis is too good and the bucks in general are too good on defense. So good that they've taken the top record in the league despite quietly dealing with injuries throughout the season. The Celtics might be the only team that can stop the bucks, but last year Giannis almost led the bucks past them without Middleton playing the entire series. The bucks have to be the favorites this season and it's gonna be really tough for any team to beat them.

The lack of a “dominant center” (DC) in the Warriors team will leave them bullied badly every game. They may have precision artilleries but nil “active defense mechanism” inside the paint. Forego the 2023 champ ring. Invest in decent DC’s for 2024 and beyond.

@@EastBayIzm510 i mean you have a fair point. It was absolutely a risk. But I’ll tell you that we weren’t getting a ring with that bench. The suns needed urgency with cp aging and Book having a reason to stay in 3-4 years.
KD is 34 going on 40 with multiple leg injuries. It would be miraculous if he makes it through a playoff run in good health. That's the chance the Suns have taken.
I'm a C's fan but I wish KD and the Suns well. It's too bad there are so many injuries. The C's are riddled with them.

The Suns absolutely have to get rid of CP3 if they don't win a ring this year. There's nothing I'd like to see more than CP3 winning a ring, but he is becoming a liability and that will be even worse next year. A young guard who's good defensively and can dish some assists is all they need if they have Booker, Durant and Ayton.
I thought the trade for KD was the worst thing the Suns could have done, given the things you pointed out in this video. The Suns were in perfect position to build upon their young core team with those 4 unrestricted first-round picks they had, but traded it all away, and for what...for the possibility to win a chip this year? Complete stupidity in my opinion.
