Clam your hormones. The song is in Gmajor and Eminor. He starts the solo in the Pentatonic with his bend on D to E (15 full bend 17) then he does his normal Bucketheadrapefest up and down the major scale of the key WHICH incorporates the minor pentatonic (if you know anything about octaves). He does hit the natural minor a couple of times yes but mainly in an around the major/pentatonic. Now if you wanna talk about modes I dont really care. Modes are just scale positions and its up to the chord.
Every time I see Night of the Slunk live I think to myself, “damn that’s the greatest version ever”, and then I see another.
love all your stuff, my boys think its pretty great to.
First like a sir!! Secondly Buckethead really likes to rock those pentatonic scales in the solo mid way. o.O

yeh he does but from what I can see he's playing around the minor pentatonic, major scale for the most part.
pentatonic? I thought they were natural minor?
Look up the definition of “Precision” in the dictionary and you’ll see this guy’s picture. No such thing as a “Dance Version” in his repertoire.
