Nice plot, looking nice and tidy :) I use clothes pegs if I need to join netting :)

Love that coir matting .Looking good .As the potatoes come through you'll have to 'earth"them up adding more compost to each hill covering the potato leaves as they sprout .

Thank you! It’s better now it’s strimmed but before it was very messy in places, weed waist high at the sides 😩 x

Looks really nice and neat. Are you growing the physalis in the ground ? I've got 3 and going to plant them in pots outside first time growing them

I will be yes! I grow them both in ground and in pots. Both do really well ☺️ hope you get a good harvest!

Plot is looking great. I really like the wide path set up, think it'll keep the grass edge back off your paving slabs and make life a bit easier for you.

Thank you! Ahhh that’s a very good point! I really can’t make my mind up, I’ve been wondering if my plot will look too industrial-ish and maybe I should do the slabs and grass 😩 but it would be so much easier in the long run with the coir matting!

@@diaryofayorkshiregardener maybe a border down each side with calendula and nasturtiums will soften it all, or big tubs of wildflowers/bulbs. It looks beautiful already, but once the beds at fully grown it will look totally different mid summer.

@@BettyandtheBees that’s a very good point! Thank you ☺️ loving the idea of nasturtiums, will sow a load next time I’m there! ☺️
