Thanks a lot. one more trick, what we do is, roll a thick roti and place the stuffing on it( a little smaller than the roti, so that you can see about an inch of roti from the sides). now make it using the first method in the video, only with one difference that you need to pull the sides of roti (making it thin from sides)when picking it up to join all the end(that's before rolling). and overlap them a bit. now you roll it and you will find the stuffing is everywhere in the prantha. not even the sides are without aloo.

I think it's a better idea to first dry roast the paratha and then apply ghee when you apply ghee or oil first it ends up raw or starts to burn quickly I think it's a mistake but the recipe was good.
wow that's completely new way to make allu prantha ,well iam Punjabi moved to US year ago ,and i try cple of times making allu prantha ,its so pain in the neck to make right type of wheat dough, and my potatoes bust the wheat and came out from everywhere :-( ,iam gonna try ur method looks easy ,lets hope for best ,dam i miss my moms home pranthas now :-( ty for vid
Usually when we make this, we always get a lot of raw dough in the middle...so we used your mum's idea and it worked! We can taste the filing and its spread out well..thanks you so much for sharing! Love from the U.K

may be your dough was too tight and when you roll it the stuffing comes out. Make the dough bit softer and rest it for atleat 30mins that will help

Amchoor powder adds a nice tang to the potato mash but u can skip it if u wish
