It’s strange having grown up in this area how much I take it for granted. You guys saying how beautiful it is. It just looks normal to me. But you guys are right it really is beautiful. There is natural beauty to be found all over the world. I just never think of it being that special here.
My daughter hiked all 2193.1 miles of the appalachian trail this past summer including Mt Washington. It is a tradition for them to moon the train when it goes by!
I have lived my whole life in New Hampshire. It may be small compared other states but it has it all. Going up Mt. Washington is great experience. So much fun watching you enjoy my state.
I have lived in New England my entire life (44 years) and this summer I just took the cog railyway to the top of Mt Washington for the first time ever. It was amazing, the trip, the views, the entire experience. So glad you enjoyed New Hampshire!
I love how Elise is loving the snow, I have live in New England my whole life 59 yrs. and when it snows We New Englanders are like what a pita, but looking at Elise and how excited she is just gave me a proud New Englander feeling!!
You guys should go back in the summer and take the Cog railway all the way to the top of the mountain. If you go on a nice clear day, you’ll have a spectacular view!!!:)
Glad to see your in the North East. I’m in Massachusetts and my family lives in the Lakes Region of NH. Been to where you are in this vlog many times! Enjoy!
Aww so happy you did get to go on the Cog train. If you ever make it back you will have to do the train again and go all the way up the mountain. It's SO AMAZING. We did it end of August and the top was frozen looked like another planet. So glad you all are having a wonderful time in our stomping grounds. Jody and Dave from Maine
The large volume of rain from what was left of Hurricane Irene (2011) and another storm or two since then made a mess of the Ammonoosuc River channel that the Jewel Trail crosses over. Glad that you enjoyed your visit to NH!!
I love new Hampshire I have family through out the state yes its every where and unfortunately alot of folks take it for granted..I guess when you grow up around it you just stop realizing it..crazy ,great video guys really fun watching you experience things for the first time,it's what connects us all very cool and yes Mt Washington beautiful well guys your heading to my home town soon Rumford falls maine ❤ so have fun not lots to do but as kids we had everything we could have wanted ,it's a beautiful area..
Native NH and we love the Cog!! We had a season pass one year. We have also driven our motorcycle up the auto road on the other side of the mountain, and it was snowing at the top. Winds actually can get to 200 mph at the very top of the mountain. My favorite place in NH.
I want to thank y’all so very much for sharing this with me. I enjoy you’re video’s and all the fun you have. I couldn’t do a winter trip I just can’t take the cold. And I was with you when you did it.
Thank you for taking us with you on your journey! Some of the most beautiful scenery i have seen! Take care and stay safe! Sending lots of love from Manitoba Canada 🇨🇦
Growing in upstate NY I know cold & snow. My mom still lives there & mentioned it snowed yesterday. And Alissa where is your coat & hat? Did you not know Mt Washington is cold as crap! Especially with the wind blowing, the weather Channel always talks about Mt Washington
Love seeing the new sites! Can't wait for you guys to come to the West Coast and experience our beautiful Lake Tahoe and surrounding areas. Lots of lakes, Mountains, snow- also our historic Virginia City here in Nevada.
Hi guys ! So glad you’re at mount Washington. My husband and I went up mount Washington with our 1970 VW beetle, I ALSO Was 8 months pregnant with my daughter, I WAS SO SHORT OF BREATH not very smart
I love the Cog rail ❤ missed it the past 2 yrs. !! Yes, the rivers & scenery is so beautiful & the ride doesn't seem long, because you stop all the time to take it in .. lol .. I love it .... you two, especially Jason, would LOVE white river water rafting in the Summer !! It's a blast ...
The river on base road is our playground. Our summer home is not too far in the next town twin mountain. We love grabbing a picnic and hanging out at the river when it’s hot and to sit by the river it’s a least 15 degrees cooler. By the way the water will be all of 50 degrees in the middle of summer. Lol
The train ride looks amazing. Good thing you have warm clothes. Did you wear your long-johns. Ha! Ha! Looks like another lock down do to the new virus mutation. Here we go again. Stay safe. Cheers.!
Back in 2004 we drove up the road that took us to the summit. Now this was in July. It was so cold and windy there, on the way back we thought we were going to burn out our brakes. I heard a very loud noise and said damn one of our tires blew, I looked in the back seat Andy bag of Wise potato chips exploded. Chips all over the back of the van .
Another nice NH vid! You would love it up here in the summer. Also you should buy a DJI OM4 Gimbal and a mono-pod. You can attach the phone/camera to the gimbal and place that onto the mono-pod. You would be able to get videos that would make it look like you were flying over the river. Again great video. You guys really showed how much fun you can have up there. We were up there a few days before Thanksgiving and were able to catch some snow
HA, How much time did you spend in North Conway ? My wife shops there all the time , some good deals , one of our Fav places , especially hiking on part of the Appalachian trail. Cheers eh !
I'm a Texan (Livingston area) that married a Mainer (Fryeburg). He thought it was hilarious that I kept referring to the spruce as Xmas trees. Nice to see some one else doing it too. BTW- He loves lobster and I would rather have chicken fried steak. Thanks for posting.
So funny to see you so excited about snow…it’s wonderful, We had 5 cm of snow here near Toronto, Canada today and I sent a picture to our son in California, we have been on a cog wheel train in Switzerland! We would see cows and wonder how they got there!
Alyssa you just don't look that cold to me? With just a lightweight sweater and a long-sleeve shirt.Wow better woman than me.. I'd be freezing. You've got higher humidity too. I'm originally from Colorado where it gets very cold especially in the mountains!💗
Yall should come to Minnesota in the Winter.! We usually have on average anywhere from 60 inches of snow to 80 inches.. sometimes more. Come on up to our State...~ :)
If you were there a month ago and you could have driven up the auto road you you could have experienced how brown underwear is made! Several years ago while camping in the Lakes Region and the getting on the Cog Railway wasn't going to happen that day. We packed six adults into an extended cab pickup. Going up wasn't too bad but getting down is slow and your brakes can get overheated. Great choice for what to see.
Hey its snowing here , we have a 2019 Compass 24TF, and are not able to head south from northern Ohio till maybe mid February. Did you winterize? What precautions did you take?

I have lived my whole life in New Hampshire. It may be small compared other states but it has it all. Going up Mt. Washington is great experience. So much fun watching you enjoy my state.
I am a native of New Hampshire too. We live in such a rural town we can’t even get cable or internet!
Hey I was there lol, on a more serious note, thank your son for his service and dedication for keeping our nation safe, and Merry Christmas.
You 2 are like kids in a candy store enjoying the snow.
I have lived in New England my entire life (44 years) and this summer I just took the cog railyway to the top of Mt Washington for the first time ever. It was amazing, the trip, the views, the entire experience. So glad you enjoyed New Hampshire!
We have to go back when we can get to the summit!
You need to come back so you can go to the summit. It’s just as beautiful in the summer!
Love watching both of you, you are both so loving and respectful to each other! Would love to hear of the story how you met..

My Dad lived on Mount Washington for over a year to test his chinook helicopter to make sure it was ready to fly troops in the Vietnam War!

Hope you get to get into Vermont great views

We did that a few years ago.
At that time, most of the trains were steam powered.
HA, How much time did you spend in North Conway ? My wife shops there all the time , some good deals , one of our Fav places , especially hiking on part of the Appalachian trail. Cheers eh !
They look just like my flocked Christmas tree 🎄or… my tree looks just like they do 🙂

So pretty!
When were you there? Did I miss the date.
Thx for the share we are looking into this in Sept.
I hope you made it to the flume Gorge. It’s stunning. Be well and stay safe. Sam in New Hampshire.
We sure did, it will be in the next video 😃

Oh gosh, I don’t think I am brave enough to drive it 😳
Welcome to NH!!!!!
You had me in tears at 6:46. ❤️🌲🍁🍂
Awe ❤️
Alisa, you need a good warm hat and a blanket shawl to keep you warm inside and out.
Snow is not pretty!!!! It is just cold.. Enjoy the trip. Chris & Jane from Canada (Snow on ground in our town october to may)
That would be a bit too much snow!
You will have to try the cog train in Colorado. Do you have a warm jacket for the trip?
Yes, we just didn’t know it would be that cold up on the mountain.
You can take a cog rail to the top of Pikes Peak.
Mt Washington 👍😎👍
Did you guys miss Acadia National Park, outside of Bar Harbour?
We didn’t make it on this trip but we will be back.
Jason is nuts that water is moving to fast
231 mph winds in 1934 - highest ever in the world
Hey its snowing here , we have a 2019 Compass 24TF, and are not able to head south from northern Ohio till maybe mid February. Did you winterize? What precautions did you take?
I did winterize it! I run antifreeze through all the faucets and shower’s and toilets then blow out the lines.
Beautiful! Did you notice you were the only person on the train not wearing a coat? Just sayin'...
My sweater is actually warmer than most of my jackets, but we weren’t expecting it to be that cold.
🥰
Alisa where is your coat?
Almost makes me miss New Hampshire……..not….it get nasty from December thru April up there.
We caught it at the right time
Y'all need heavier coats better gloves and hats.
We weren’t anticipating those temperatures…
