I’m confused. Why put a 13.5 in it with a 3S? Racing is only ever 2S and the 13.5 motor is for the spec 4wd 1/10 buggy class.

That run was alot better then the first. Shocks look better, might need to touch the throttle when leaving the jumps to stop the nose dive? I'm not sure just a guess. Keep up the great videos

I have a newbie question. Why are you pairing the 3650 motor with the 120A ESC? IIUC there should be some room to run a more powerful motor? Or am I missing something here?

What do you think had the easiest and quickest potential the 019 1/12th or this new 1/10 scale for speed runs? Also what do you think is better between the two? I have the 019 but want to get the bigger buggy asap
For speed runs would 60wt oil all around be better in all shocks?
Those lil batteries work good..Use the battery strap to hold down the wires..Wait,There is no place to lay the wires lol..No upper deck brace or even spur gear cover?

Bro 3650 2850 KV is pretty slow for that , most ppl put 3650 4000+KV in 124019 ... I plan on putting a 3650 4300KV ( or more ) in my 124018 .

Is it true the 019 is based on a Lodi model and parts fit? If so what model is the 001 1/10 scale based on ?
It’s an LC Racing clone I believe of the emb10 if that’s what it’s called. Lots of the LC racing parts are direct drop in for this car and they are a ton beefier and better plastic!

i purchased the same hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 ESC for my 104001, but for some reason I get more power in reverse than forward.

Ya know.... id like to see a WLTOYS Superstock class where its only 104001 and stock components. Maybe allow aluminum for durability but the idea is to have a cheap beginner class that is skill vs skill alone

Curious to know how this holds up against a 3s typhon.
I dont have a Typhon specifically but I'm looking at this model too, I have a granite 3s and it's ridiculously fast, imo down right uncontrollable on full throttle on just a good 100C battery. I'm probably going to buy a typhon just because of how purely ridiculous the Granite I have is.
@@VaLULrant same here, I have the Big Rock and 3s is ridiculous. On dirt it’s not controllable at all. I’d love to get the typhon and the senton but if this works out better...

If you like the 104001 you would love the Buggy „V.4B“ by Vkar. It is stock 3S capable, has both, an unbranded 60Amp ESC and an unbranded 3350KV Robitronics Motor running 80km/h out of the box and costs 286USD (free shipping) on Aliexpress. I upgraded mine with a 4S capable 120A ESC so it now runs over 100km/h without changing anything else than the battery and ESC! 🙌🏻 check it out!

I reckon you need stronger damping. The front dropping over jumps is happening as the rear shocks compress as they hit the ramp, then they're quickly springing back and 'launching' the rear upwards, at the same time as the front wheels are in the air, causing it to rotate. If you have stronger damping that springing back motion should be reduced. Might also be useful to give it a bit more ride height as you're at minimum height which wont help if it's fully compressed when launching :)
I read the lc10b5 manual and they recommend 700 in the front and 500 in the back which I think is heavier than what you are running, though it’s hard to convert :)

Looks like a cool car. I do agree with others it really looks to be bouncing a lot in the Back end especially on jumps but even small bumps looks like it jack rabbits.
Does look badly balanced though and that chassis slap was happening far to easily higher speeds yeah it's expected but some of those made my teeth go on edge .
