- In this video I will show you how to take apart the LG K20 Plus phone for screen repair. I don't do too many repair videos, so the quality of the video might stink due to the low lighting conditions.
no that's not 'pretty much it'. why don't you talk about how you separate the screen from that plastic frame or how you have to lay down a layer of liquid adhesive to get it back together again???
Why don't I talk about how to separate the screen from the plastic bezel? Guess you forgot the part where I said that this is my personal phone. Any person taking apart their phone should be able to figure out that part.
Why don't I talk about laying down liquid adhesive? It's called LOCA glue. What kinda phone do you think this is? A $600 Samsung phone? Really dude? A replacement screen for this phone is only $37.99.
If you want to go through the trouble of separating glass, cleaning up the LCD, laying down liquid adhesive while risking dust particles getting into your screen & purchasing a curing lamp, be my guest. Post a response video when you do.

I think what the lady was trying to say is that for someone who has NEVER had experience at this kind of thing, that the information was inadequate. Certainly, if this had been the first video I had ever seen on the subject (which it is not) that I could be mislead by thinking I didn't have to do any of the things in question.
Ebay $25.00 theres couple of videos shows you how to replaced it. Takes approximately 30min
I was super happy to find this video when my son broke the screen on DAY #3!!! However, after finishing... My speaker isn't working. I took everything back apart to see if maybe I didn't tighten something... but it's in solid aswant anything I had to remove. The soaker didn't work in any app. (calls, alarms, ringer, UA-cam, music, etc.) please help. thanks.
Michele Brown did you check to see if there was anything on the old screen that needed to be transferred to the new screen such as any ribbon cables?
uBreakIt iRepairIt I don't know what that is, what it would look like or how to transfer? the old screen has a gold/orange looking T shape tape in the area that the speaker is.???
uBreakIt iRepairIt You mentioned cables... I didn't see anything that would be considered cables.
Anything you see that is gold and orange is a ribbon cable. The ribbon cable itself is orange, and the gold is the contacts that press up against some other component. Ribbon cables can tear easily depending on the thickness of it, so applying heat to it with a blow dryer can help with removing it.
Do you by chance know if this phone is interchangeable with the TP450? I was able to basically salvage the board from the Stylo3+ and I was given a K20+ and I much rather have the Stylo 3 + ...
I'm not sure about that. Most phones don't have interchangeable parts, especially when the model numbers are drastically different from each other.

JESUS IS LORD to back up what? Photos? You can use the google drive or google photos app.
@@ubreakitirepairit3569 LOL nothing at all actually, I'm just curious to know if it has the cloud storage, or was it still too outdated before the cloud was implemented in the newer Androids. If you know what I'm trying to say.
@@John-pu5kz yeah I know what you mean. I didn't use the phone so I'm not sure. A quick Google search doesn't show anything associated with the phone having cloud storage. But now a days, you can get cloud storage from many 3rd party services, or you can simply set the phone to back up using your Google ID (g-mail address).
What about the gold looking H for the loud speaker..did everything but the sound doesn't work, and reading comments on another video says it needs to be transferred over as well...there is one of those on the new assembly already...? Help please!
If the replacement screen you've purchased doesn't have the cable, it will have to be transferred over.
I have a broken ipod touch 6g front facing camera. Any ideas on how to fix it? Would i need to replace the entire front? It would be great if u made a vid about this
Jar Jar Jamaal If the iPod is less than one year old, it will still have a warranty through Apple. They will replace it free of charge. No you do not have to replace the entire front. The screen will need to be removed and then the camera will need to be desoldered, because the ribbon cable to the front facing camera is soldered directly to the motherboard.
Sometimes my double tap on my phone and my fingerprint sensor does not work sometimes I'll have to press the button to turn the screen on then it works can you tell me why
Not sure why that is. Sometimes when I double tap on my phone, the screen doesn't come on either. So I often triple tap on it or tap it till it comes on. Not sure about the fingerprint sensor, but if the phone is less than a year old, it has warranty through the manufacture as most phones do.
How about a lg k2p water repair
Most phones that have suffered liquid damage, are only repaired for the purposes of data recovery.

You can find the screen on eBay as well as Amazon. On eBay the item number for the screen is 282436149616 from China and 362095910943 from the US.

If the black film under the glass comes off with the glass the display will be gone...this guy doesn't explain fully
