One day in Orgrimmar, a few years ago, I had the Leeroy Jenkins title on my character, from the achievement. A low level ran past me and stopped. "Dude! you're famous, you're all over the net!!" I said, "what?" Then I realized, I had the title showing.
"OH MY GOD I GOT A SMALL POUCH!!!" this is why we love classic!

The level 40 mount quest was easy the epic mount quest was super hard however
But so rewarding
it wasnt free. sure u didnt have to but from the mount vender/trainer but u had to buy the mats which werent cheap
the level 40 was just given to you. the 60 mount was basically impossible for the non committed.

The 40 mount and training was relatively free but the 60 mount quest was epic in scope and price of mats required. When your mount quest requires 500-800g worth in mats it doesn't amount to saving a whole lot when compared to the 1000g 60 mounts for the other classes. The quest and mount is definitely worth the effort but it's NOT free people!
Also people never seem to take into account the amount of gold a Warlock has to spend to buy all the skills and spells for their demons when leveling. That easily amounts to 100-200g more spent on skills than most other classes leveling 1-60.
All things considered I wouldn't say Warlock and Paladin mounts cost significantly more or less than the other classes, it's just easier to manage as much of the cost is spread out over the leveling experience rather than a massive lump sum at 60.

Just Level as Arms or fury and Equip a Shield for a dungeons :)
U don’t even need a shield to tank it doesn’t actually do that much

Back in vanilla I had almost every quest memorized... Even now watching you do these quests, I know exactly where to go for what and where some 'hidden' quests are that you would sometimes miss. Man, Classic is going to be so much fun :D, oh... and you can tank dungeons as 'arms or fury' as long as you're in prot stance, and can stance dance

Actually in Vanilla the fastest two level classes where Hunters and Warlocks because their pet classes and they could chain pull.

When I back to classic, I will shed tears of nostalgia. Swifty was such a huge inspiration and just a great guy overall to watch back in the day. When classic drops I will be playing with my Dad and try to relive the great journey we had, such a great time!

I think Swifty is talking about the 60% mount, at level 40 the skill cost maybe 1gold for lock/paladin.
At level 60, the quest cost from 500-700gold while other classes has to spend 1000 gold (if they have no rep or rank 11).
yea but since everyone will have the rep, since you get it naturally by questing early. Epic mount is 810 riding 90 mount, 60% = 81 riding 9 mount. With Rank 3 you get another 10% discount. AV exalted gives you a cheap epic mount so you only have to pay for riding.
Dude, I dont even need the quest helpers for Teldrassil, I know that place by heart. It was my first zone in vanilla and it has a special place in my heart

How do we get Classic WoW beta?
Man, watching this got me excited for Classic! I love the music. I know a lot of people hated on Darns, but I honestly really enjoyed it. The music was very serenity and calming, almost entrancing. It really suited the NE's at the time with their isolation and connection with the forests. I'm also really looking forward to Auberdine and the music as well. The entire experience should be pretty sick.
Although, I'm a parent now. So I won't be able to grind like I used to. Regardless, I'm going to try get in as much as I can.
Might level up a pally or a mage. Mage was my first level 60, my Pally was my first full epic gear from BWL. I remember being so proud of sporting my Judgement gear. One of the first pallys on the server to get it.
I wish they'd open the beta up to everyone. That way they'll really get to stress test their servers and get people who were actually in Vanilla to get back into it and find any bugs or glitches.
Is the beta randomly given out to players? or are they selected by Blizz for this?

Until 55? Do you think warriors tanked aq40/naxx as prot? Prot tree was garbage after the first rows, all tanks were speccing into fury up to Flurry

6:20 Thunder Bluff in classic and Nagrand in TBC are alot of peoples favorite zones. I think it's because the zones makes you fell relaxed compared to the harsh enviroment of The Barrens, the dark fell of Tirisfal Glades or the cold feel of Dun Morogh. Teldrassil and Elwynn Forest are also popular but I think it's more do to with nostagia as many people first character was a Night Elf or Human before they went on to make their main.
Swifty,if as a warrior you want a good 2 hander weapon (staff) do Relics of Wakening and the Rageclaw one in the tunnel. you can get a 1hand sword and a 2 hand staff (train staves in Darn for 9s (10s if you are not friendly)

If I remember this correctly, in Vanilla you had to buy spells with gold and you could get spells from books!

You don’t need to spec prot for dungeons until 60. Arms/Fury can tank perfectly with a shield and def stance

If I recall Paladins and Warlocks still have to pay for the riding skill which is 90% of expenses using mounts and still have to do hard class quests to get them so they aren't really "free" you just have to pay for them with effort instead of gold.
The level 40 mount is as easy as training the spell from your pally/lock trainer for a (very) small fee. The level 60 mount is much more involved for both, but still ends up being cheaper than simply paying like everyone else.
Lol vanilla with hardcore mode, I think we are stepping beyond insanity treshold here.

I haven't played WoW in a lot of years now but Classic has me thinking about coming back. The fact that I might be able to join your guild and PvP with you might just be enough to make me do it. I play Druid and have terrible insomnia, so I'd be happy to pocket you ALL day.
Something i used to do alot (Mostly to find Named npc..) was a macro /target INSERTNAMEHERE

FYI locks epic mount mount still ends up costing like 800g since u need tons of mats for the quest so it’s kinda a misconception that they get it free although the level 40 mounts are basically free

Bro this man gets to use hierlooms in project 60 stuff, it's insane how some WoW players can play for over a decade and not know how to handle anything outside of spamming trinket macros
I've never once used my heirloom trinkets.

you definetly not need to be protection for dungeons while lvling.
U go fury/arms for lvling and u just equip a shield for tanking a dungeon.
Protection is not needed before.. at least lvl 55 content.

As Fury warrior i also used daggers in offhand if possible. Not sure if the crit based proc was based on wep speed but if not dagger = more lower crits but still triggering the proc
For someone who played so much WoW back in vanilla I am surprised he doesn't remember some of this stuff.
