My hot tub is leaking from what seems to be the breather tubes. It’s only about 2 years old, so would the fix be drain it to get rid of the syphon it’s created? My tub definitely overfills when a lot of people get in
Thank you for reaching out. We recommend cutting the zip tie that secures the breather tube and blowing into the tube to push the water back through. Then, reroute the breather tube to a higher position, adding a loop in the middle for better water flow.
@@LeisureTimeInc do you mean better airflow? why would adding a loop in the breather line get better waater flow?
My hot tub is leaking from one of those clear tubes but it's up high it's not low down by the pumps or anything like that it seems like it might be like you mentioned air seeping through the jet flow adjustments it would be okay to plug that up or will be the revenue to fix it it seems to leak when the Jets are off
Great question. If there is a leak while the jets are of you definitely want to get that fixed. And lucky for you the clear tubes are usually an easy fix.
I have this exact issue and am trying to find a fix. What did find out?
I'm sure Hot Springs makes a great tub.What is a whole butcher paper thing? That looks kind of cheap. What purpose does? I saw the technician punch holes in it. Which I understand why. What purpose does it really serve? Thx.

The butch paper is there just for the fibercore insulation. It insulates the spa before the side panels go on and they need a way to keep it in.
They could have alternatively used plastic, but we're sure the paper is cheaper and better for the environment!
Our hot tub is losing water and we noticed our jets aren’t as powerful anywhere you’d look off the bat?
How old is your spa? This is always a good first question to figure out what's going on.
As for the first place to look, we'd recommend trying a system flush and checking the equipment area first.
How do you find and repair a leak from the middle lower ctr of tub. I guess if it is dry all the way around 360 lower, than what ?
To find a leak coming from the middle of the tub, pour in some spa dye (you can purchase on Amazon) or even just food coloring. Make sure to remove the filters when doing this! Then, run the jets for several hours or even overnight. Drain the spa and stand it up (equipment side down) and remove the bottom. Then look for the leak where the dye has leaked out!
