So first off, X, love the new look. Now as for the game itself, it plays like a traditional Turn Based RPG. You've got items, you use Sub Tanks to heal, and you have a Hyper Mode which lasts for a couple turns and gives you a boost in stats.
Now, for the story. X, Zero, and new character Shadow are sent on a mission to infiltrate Giga City in order to stop a rebellion led by a reploid named Epsilon. Axl is just off doing his own thing right now. After arriving at a bunch of ruins, X is separated from the others and must regroup at a higher floor.
On the way up, the groups find capsules that contained 12 different reploids all suited for combat. 4 high performance ones, and 8 combat ones. The typical Mega Man lineup. X and Zero manage to meet up and deal with a hippo that appears from out of nowhere, and then meet with Shadow up top. Little do we realize that this was all a trap. __

My first Megaman game and it actually was really really interesting to play. I got really far but my disc broke and I never saw the light of day to come back

Pretty much an alternate version of where Neo Arcadia will be without the Elf Wars & everything looks quite the same as their X-era prime selves.
X seems to be the only one of the three to be upgraded to a sleeker version. Zero is still a complex machine so his body couldn't get the upgrades. Axle on the other hand just likes his base form.
Capcom should do a Remaster of Mega Man X: Command Mission, just like Square Enix did with Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy X (P.S. I'm not saying that the graphics of this game are bad though, neither the ones that I just mentioned, in fact, they're great! All I'm saying is that I feel that they could have been a little bit better...)

@@lynk172they could get the ZX Advent cast for the crew( coincidentally the X7 ones). With better direction they could do better.
I thought I was a gaming prodigy and I excelled at every game I picked up, but for some reason when I tried playing this game I remember I was very confused at the combat system and I struggled to understand it. I never fully did. I played the game just fine until I got to silver horn, and then my gameplay went downhill from there. I eventually gave up playing this game. This was the first and last time I struggled so hard on a game.
how come zeros saber doesn't sound like a light saber anymore? in x7, it changes

Epsilon reminds me of Ashstar, Gaia from Toshinden, a bit of Kenpachi Zaraki, And Nagoriyuki from Guilty Gear.

it seems the megaman games always have very cool gameplay mechanics ´ ∀` the battle system in Command Mission is really good!!

I never played command mission. when i got a hand on it to rent it i kinda disliked the cover. i thought it was crap. now with this bloody zero virus on the world now i kinda want to play

I tried playing this game when I was a teenager but I wasn't very good at it.
I remember this game the rafflesian is extremely tough to win easy take on duckbilled moles first

You know something I never understood while playing this game. What is this ideal, this vision the Rebellion Army keeps going on about? They mention it a lot but they never go into detail as to what it actually is.
