I use red square because it's cheap but it taste quite alright. This cocktail helps me sooth my voice. I have first tasted this at a bar in boracay, the bartender offered it bec I'm having a bad cough.

I use Goya ginger beer, mint, lime juice, lime and smirnoff vodka. The mint really sells it for me and people I make it for and the Goya ginger beer is alot stronger then any brand ive tried so has that nice burn. Either way all 3 you made I'd happily drink 😄
Tip for fresh ginger from the back of house-use a spoon for the skin! It comes off just as easy and you won’t have to worry about the paring knife coming back too hard

I usually serve mine in a yeti mug and add a few grains of kosher salt during the stirring phase in an attempt to chill the drink more
Pro tip for ginger : It's waaay easier to peel ginger with a spoon than with a knife/peeler !

Little tip to peel off ginger try using a large spoon. Put your thumb at the base of your root and grate it.
I just made ginger syrup this morning. I love using it in mules and tiki drinks.

When you skin the ginger try just using the back of the blade I find it is faster and saves more of the ginger to use.
