I like how he actually uses random tools you have at home in the beginner version instead of just saying “if you don’t have this tool, you can use something else”
Last cocktail I made was a Cosmopolitan a few hours ago on shift.
Started working in a new pub just before lock down. It's the first bar I've worked behind that consistently sells cocktails & I really got into the making of them. But obviously Covid came by and took out the training for 3 months, making me super stressed about forgetting everything I learnt. So, I turned to your channel and after going back last week, I realise how much I've learnt from you & how much I truly enjoy making them!!! Thank you for your content man, can't imagine the amount of other bartenders that came to you to keep their cocktail knowledge up to scratch! Big up :D
last one was more like a chemical in a laboratory
"organic mint i was growing in my backyard" Proceeds to pull out a store bought box of organic mint
i was gonna ask him if he sells his back yard mint or what?
A lot of times people do the voiceover before the actual filming, I'm thinking he planned to use homegrown mint originally then changed paths later on and went with a store bought. That or he saved the little package from the store and just puts his own him in that pack every day, lol. Like a little refillable plastic container to put your mint in, I've actually done that before at my house.
@@JoshChristiane i think he was just making a joke.
... careful with mint plants...they spread all over the garden ...tiny black seeds but hundreds of them ...
...would sometimes just hand some fresh mint as a beer tip ...
Why couldn’t he have just stored his own mint in a suitable box ?
“Smak mint a few times to wake it up” 😭😝
You forgot to mention..."To release aromatics." 😁😜😉😃
That's what I do with my wife
The last cocktail I made was a “red raspberry” it has raspberry infused vodka, champagne, agave, lemon sour, and a dash of bitters
That sounds really nice
Wow! Not bad!
Nice bro good job 👏
Sounds delicious
my last coctail: hot water, tea bag, sugar
simple but really good
I use honey ❤️
No milk ?!?!?
@@faiilomakinrogers7959 NO.
Edit: I would like to apologize, it's actually pretty good
@@faiilomakinrogers7959 WTF? 🤢
@@LordYuriX I mean i drink tea with milk and i find it delicious and it tastes like lavander
He smack those mint leaves like how my mama used to slap me when I’m late for school.
Not the last one i made, but the coolest one i made yesterday is called tropical twist at my work, it's mangos, strawberries and pineapple muddled in the glass, Malibu rum and lemonade
Sounds good 😋
My last cocktail was not a popular cocktail. The ingredients was: Vodka, gin, lime, lemonade and blue curacao syrup. You have to try it
What are the proportions, if that’s not a secret?😊
Маргарита Денисова ofcourse it’s not a secret 😅. 1 oz. votka, 1oz. gin 3/2 oz. lemonade 1 lime and just a dash of blue curacoa syrup
enis karakas and just shake everything together, right? Or mix it in the glass?
Sorry for these questions, I’m not that familiar with different types of making cocktails, I’m just a fan, not a professional, but I really wanna try to recreate your recipe😅🙈😇
Маргарита Денисова I just shaked all of them in my shaker and I served it with crashed ice
enis karakas okay, thank you very much!🙏
I made my own Gin and tonic on the rocks 😁 it was cold 😂
-crushed ice
-bombay sapphire gin
-fever tree tonic
-slice of lime
The blue Hawaiian
That expert version is absolutely INSANE!! Keep up the great content. Just started tending at a high end gastropub and your videos have been a HUGE help!
my last coctail was "mama's boy"
-water
I accidentally liked this video with my nose, when my phone fell on my face lol.
Hero
I can recommend not letting your phone fall down on your face. It cost me $1140 for a new 1/2 tooth. Not worth it in my experience...
@@Banned456 someone doesnt have insurance.
LMFAO
My last cocktail was a super refreshing one that is great for summer parties:
1 1/2 oz coconut rum
1/2 oz passion fruit vodka
1/2 oz lime juice
2 oz pineapple juice
3 years later, do you still make it?
@@AnnihilatorCZ I do!
I made this today and it tastes delicious! Thank you 🍸
Wowowowow that Expert Level Mojito is SERIOUS! Love to see advanced chemistry on a cocktail channel!
My last cocktail was a “carajillo” shaken
- 1 espresso
- 2 oz 43 licor
- ice
The last cocktail I made was my favourite type of Hot Toddy. I made it with black tea, honey, lemon juice and zest, some cloves and a shot of Whiskey. This cocktail is really heart-warming
my last cocktail was "college frat boy"
10 shots with 2 monster energy drinks
Just made mojitos man, first time my best bud tried it, loved it, and learnt my recipe
The last cocktail I made was actually the mojito. However, instead of mint, I used a herb called hierbabuena is Spanish. Also, i didn't used rum, I used gin... So maybe not really the classic mojito, but a botanical fusion it the Cuban classic. It was delicious, perfect for summer!
I love you videos! Keep it up! More summer cocktails!
I followed this recipe but subbed rum for gin too (bombay sapphire) and it was immaculate. Love it
Hierbabuena is in fact a type of mint (mentha spicata). It smells stronger and fresher. That's my go to for Mojitos
Diría que si cambias Ron por gin deja de ser un mojito, como pasaría si tienes un daiquiri y lo haces con Gin, terminas con un gimlet, imagino que en este caso también debiese tener otro nombre
I thought hierbabuena was mint 😂
The Mojito is super simple and tastes great. I love you versions, especially the jelly fish monster version!! Thank you.
Last cocktail I made was a Ranch water… Jose Cuervo, lime juice, and topped w/ Topo Chico in a dressed glass. I just got over a week of the cold and nearly lost my sense of smell and taste! This was my first cocktail since getting my taste buds back!
Love your content and all your tips 🙂 Thank you and I always look forward to seeing your channel!
The little spins and tricks you do sir really show your experience in the bar :D
I made the homemade version for my parents and it was very good. Thank you!
The last cocktail I made was the Jägerbomb. A cocktail, which is on every party in Germany.
And here in UK. Red bull and Jägermeister. Not good for your heart.
Juan Mitropoulos True, but it’s great to keep you awake all night... very euphoric effect
@Jano trinkst du meistens bier oder wein?
Ich bin in mein modus
Aber warum sprechen wir deutsch?
I only recently found this channel (probably from watching "How to Drink"), and I love it!
Last cocktail I made was a set of Moscow Mules to enjoy with my folks and fiancée (4 weeks to wedding day!) to enjoy a much needed 3 day weekend.
Just love this series it helps us alot as at home we don't have perfect bar tools .
The last cocktail I made was "Nataly" it's actually one of the cocktails that I created, I use the name of my friend's daughter as inspiration because she loves the peach.
1 1/2 oz. Jack Daniel's Honey
1/2 peach, preferably from the can.
1 oz. Evaporated milk.
1/4 oz peach syrup from the can.
1 dash of Vanilla bitters.
You can put all together in the blender with ice and garnished with weep cream and and a cherry on the top. It actually taste really good, I hope you liked.
Btw, congratulations, It's being a long time since I saw someone with that energy and passion for this profession, you're a great bartender.
Weep cream is tears i presume?
My last cocktail was 'Serbian Special'
- one bottle of rakija
- thats all
Bulgarian Special is very similar, but it's served in a Coca-cola bottle with a Fanta cap.
Raki is better
Remember first 3 shots use small glass after that break the glass and drink from the bottle
Last cocktail I made before this is one of my own making. It’s similar to a Black Russian but it uses rum instead of vodka, so I call it a Black Caribbean. It uses equal parts rum and coffee liquor. I use one called mr espresso or grind espresso shot. The rum you use is to preference but I enjoy using a spiced rum. It’s one of my favorites. It’s got a bit of a kick to it but you can add a bit of milk or cream to it just like a White Russian.
I have a friend that loves bayleys, so the only cocktail that came to my mind, obviously modified, was the black Russian. I asked for a black Russian with whisky cream instead of cream. I think he fucked up doses, so I want to do it on my own. Do you think that vodka, coffee liqueur and bayleys need an amount of whisky? Do you have any tip, or a bayleys base cocktail to suggest?
Plantation white rum is the business when it comes to Mojitos and I would have liked to see you do a version were you shake it up than add the soda water...That's how i get down🍹
Last drink- Express Gin and Elderflower Tonic with Mint. Thanks for the great content!
My last cocktail was "Bee's Knees"
- Gin (Hendrix of course)
- Honey water
- Lemon juice
And shaken with a smile 😋
Thank you for your content really enjoy it :)
You are just the motivation I need to start my experiments
Im from Chile, and the version i was taught at my bartender school and the one we use at the restaurant I work at is a mix of version 1 and 2: in a highball glass add 3/4oz of syrup (2-1 of sugar and water), about a handful of mint, softly muddle, squeeze 1/2oz of lemon juice, 1 1/2oz of white rum, fill the glass with crushed ice, top it off with soda, lightly stir, and garnish with mint leaves.
Lemon meaning lime?
The last cocktail I made was a “san Fransisco”, my college said that she liked it so I just had to try it out myself. I give it a 9/10
Last drink - szarlotka:
- Żubrówka (green one),
- apple juice,
- ice (cubes).
Cynamon and apple for garnish. :-)
Gonna use Cuban rum...made in Puerto Rico, never laughed so loud, cheers from, well Puerto Rico
Not sure if this cocktail has a name but I used a nice floral gin, fresh lime juice, cucumber slices, and soda water to finish. Super refreshing cocktail and really easy to make.
sounds like a cucumber gimlet
My last cocktail was a "Cuba Libre"
-Long glass with ice cubes
-The juice of half a lime
-2 oz of white rum
-fill the glass with cola soda
Just goofing around with a friend of mine and we made a coctail
-Spiced rum
-Gin
-Lime juice
-Tonic with some fruity taste i think lemonade and bergamont
The little ball shots are so cool
Thanx for the mogito My favorite cocktail!! Great!
a little late to the party here but my favorite way to make a mojito is very simple, its just switcing out the regular white rum with Malibu coconut rum. i love the combination of coconut, lime and mint. i also use about a teaspoon of regular table sugar for a single serving because i always have it on hand.
second version is the best! the last one is like a dinner! " ok let's go have a mojito bite!!! hhhh
I had half an ounce of triple sec to my Mojito’s. I really love this addition and I really feel that it gives the cartel an elevated sense of citric aroma and flavor. I definitely recommend trying it.
Need these type of vids to come back every once in awhile & top 5-10 drink vids
These look so good :D
I just made a drink I had in Gurney’s Montauk. Well at least its what I think I remember. I used Vodka, lemon juice, st Germaine, Aperol, ginger syrup and honey syrup (I didn’t have honey syrup so I swapped with strawberry syrup). It was great!
I’ve been wanting to drink this so bad thank you for the easy tips
Enjoy 😉
Last cocktail I made was a whiskey sour but with some blue curacao to make it blue and pretty, ofc to keep the balance between sweet and bitter good I reduced the amount of simple syrup and adjusted the remaining ingredients accordingly!
I don't even drink, but this looks really interesting 😂😅
Now I'll try to do it while vibing to Twice - Alcohol Free
Who else thinks that having a chat whit this bartender would be very nice and comfortable?
I like the second version.
It looks so refreshing.
🤗👍🏾👍🏾
The last cocktail I made was the painkiller, one of my favorites :P
My last cocktail i made is "mint vodka monster"
-150 ml of vodka
-1 monster mango loco
- 5 sprigs of mint
-ice
Gotta love a good mojito! Cheers on another great video Vlad!
Thanks I was having problems making it but you help me so much 😊
Last time i drink "Cuba Libre"
-40 ml of Havana Club Especial
-1/4 lime
-coca-cola
-ice
Hi, my last cocktail was a yellow belly
My favorite mojito is the royal mojito :)
My rum of choice is Old Hopking.
The last mix I had was strawberry 🍓 daiquiri & pina colada! Love 💖💓 them both! Gonna try this now!
Thanks for the tip about the ice cubes!
Enjoy 😊
The mojito that they serve in my hometown bar in cuba is the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it’s because of the natural limes or real Havana club rum. But it’s amazing!
Such a professional like him deserve 10 million subs. Who agrees?

“Angry Balls” shot of fireball in a glass of angry orchard
Is that good? At first I was thinking it sounds bad, but then I remembered that apples and cinnamon do go well together.
The first way was my favorite. I think I’m going to try the mango 🥭 one next... thanks !!
I've never made one, but I really want to start doing them! Great Video btw.
I love your videos despite the fact i am the biggest lightweight ever. I cant have a sip of beer without getting very drunk
Mojito is the first cocktail I made and my friends love it when I make it! I use Bacardi sometimes but most of the times I make it with Dry Gin and no sugar. I know its like a violation of a classic cocktail but trust me it tastes way better with Dry Gin instead of Rum and no sugar.
And I found tomorrow's drink. Thank you I love mojitos, but I'm currently out of rum.
ew
@@ducciwucci 🔫pew pew pew! 🤣
Mojito is my fav cocktail, simple to make and fresh
This channel is pure gold
Enjoy 😉
8:13 I actually prefer to make mojito without bubbles.
I prefer Bacardi 8 and brown sugar instead of demerara sugar, which makes the drink nice and brown in the end. I also do not muddle the mint, as I find the leaves break too easilly and you can make up the taste with more mint, which also looks better. I use three quarters of a lime and a mix of crushed ice and cubes.
First you muddle the lime with the brown sugar in there, a barspoon of brown is plenty (I dont like my mojito too sweet, and brown sugar is plenty sweet) Add 10+ mint leaves (not small leaves) and fill the highball with crushed ice 3 quarters of the way up, add 70 ml of bacardi 8 and... get your barspoon from earlier and get to stirring. The ice smelts and replaces the soda volume wise. When satisfied with dillution, add cubed ice, rim the glass with lime and top with crushed ice and a nice sizable bouquet of mint as well as a metal straw. Now sit back and enjoy the 15 seconds it takes before the drink is empty and you have to do it all over again :)
This can also be scaled up to fill a punch-bowl or something simillar and just adding cubes and crushed to the glasses for volume if you know you are going to need a lot of it. And it looks awesome in a bowl. Try also adding other citrus, you wont be disapointed.
Try using Angostura White Oak Rum made in Trinidad and Tobago its great for mojitos ! Nice video !!
👌🙏
My last cocktail was mojito. I bought 70 cl of Bacardi yesterday. I drank a cuba libre yesterday and about an hour ago i prepared a mojito for myself. I love drinking a mojito after dinner ❤
They all look soooo goooood
The last cocktail I did was a “Chichao A Lo Bestia” which is a really interesting Puerto Rican cocktail:
1.) 2 oz of Chichaito Rum (its a variation of rum that contains anís... don’t remember the translation sorry, but its a tipical seed in Puerto Rico)
PD: If you can’t find Chichaito, you can try either Don Q Cristal or Bacardi Light. Both are made in PR like 90% of the rums, so that counts.
3.) half a can of Coconut cream
4.) 1/4 a can of coconut milk
5.) one egg yolk
6.) half a tablespoon of sugar or simple syrup.
Mix everything the way you prefer it. Make sure the coconut cream and the milk are cold. Ice is not needed. Garnish with cinammon. Voila, enjoy, and see you in the other side.
Love you Vlad!!! ❤️
The translation for anís is anise i think, there's the normal anise and then star anise
Dude this is fucking amazing! Thank you so much for showing the other fruity versions too! This is great to show me how to start out with making cocktails :D I've had a passionfruit one at a restaurant before it was incredible :D
New bartender here - last cocktail i made was a solero. Customer came back and told me it was great
The last cocktail I made was an Old Fashioned for my father, I'm too young to drink alcohol.😆
You can drink this but mixed🍺
I'd love to see your take on "Fanta Korn", a german party classic. Its essentially a mixture of Fanta and Weizenkorn (Grain Brandy) commonly mixed with 3/4 Fanta and 1/4 Korn or 7/8 Fanta 3/8 Korn.
Fanta korn ist doch bestimmt ein wenig zu simpel für einem solchen channel oder?
