Sat in both. Bought Ridgeline... the ride and road manner makes you long for a road-trip! I, like many others did not buy to go off-roading. Most people dont drop 40K plus to bounce around it round and thrash it on hills and holes. IMO 😂
So you purchased a car with a bed attached? Trucks need a frame with a body on it. But good you aren't going off-road, expensive to stretch back in shape a unibody when destroyed off-roading.
@f5fstop better than most 🌈 🏳️🌈 fords, leaking ws, moon roof, air bags deloyed after one good jumps like the captor. Plus they put the v8 in the craptor n can't even keep up with the Trx. NOT Everyone need to spend 50k for a truck just to be offroad.

I have owned a Frontier for many years and it has been a good truck. I have never gotten more than 22 mpg on it and it is usually around 19. I do live in hilly country so on flat ground it may do better.
I love my 2023 Ridgeline. It’s my second one. Very comfortable, good gas mileage. I just don’t trust Nissan transmissions. Owned a Murano and went through three transmissions. Im a conservative driver and I drive my cars to make them last. Honda and Toyota reliability can’t be surpassed. My 2016 Rav 4 hasn’t given me an once of trouble. Did a trip from Harrisburg to Dallas and back and it didn’t skip a beat. Did a trip to the Carolina’s and back with the Ridgeline, it was a very comfortable ride and got close to 30 mpg. Nissan is a good looking truck and hopefully their transmissions have improved.

My camper (Casita) weighs 2,900 lbs loaded. So, either truck can tow my camper. Therefore, I need to be aware of the tongue weight, camping gear weight, and passenger weight, etc. In this case the Ridgeline Black Edition has considerably more payload than the Frontier Pro4X. I am a fan of both trucks, but I would choose the Ridgeline for my needs. I don’t need the off-roading potential of the Pro4X. In addition, I am more impressed with the safety ratings of the Ridgeline.
What does the sticker in the driver's side door well say about PAYLOAD/CARGO capacity. May be rated to tow 6700 LBS but you have to have payload capacity to use that power to pull. Most important fact omitted from presentation.

I predict the Ridgeline (Black Edition) has a payload around 1500 lbs. I predict the Frontier (Pro4X) has a payload of around 1200 lbs (or less).

I bought a 2023 Honda Ridgeline Sport and it was 36 K as they took $3,000 off sticker and then I got 2.9% financing.. my base model does not have all the fluff of the other ones like leather and moonroof but that's the way I like it for me😊

Why? They both are used to haul and tow stuff. They are both small. They both have beds which makes them both trucks regardless of what chassis they have. who cares..what really matters is what you need in a truck... if you need a true truck(max towing, more payload,true 4x4 for off roading) by all means get it...if you dont and just want the bed (and better interior/space/better driving manners and MPG) and dont need all the other drawbacks a frame on truck gives you get the ridgeline..
Not here in PA though. I dont need a truck..I would prefer something with a bed. I dont haul or tow heavy things i do have the want/need to use the bed to do things though. So for me the Ridgeline is perfect actually.. That said I like the LOOKS of stuff like the Frontier, the new Toyota much better. I DO NOT find the Ridgeline ugly or anything. I just like the looks of the Frontier and Tacoma more even the Chevy's I like more. But I dont need a "true" truck, just the bed.@@ryanb3908
I like both I could live with both. I think for me the Ridgeline... more storage, more room, better ride,better MPG..Nissan looks tougher and ive had a older Frontier and liked it a lot it just sucked down gas.

Love the performance and how honda ridgeline drive but if talk about off roading the Taco far more superior 👌.
I have a 22 Ridgeline Sport that only gets 23.7 mpg @75 mph rarely but usually 22.2mpg
And between 17/19mpg in the city

Agreed. Payload (despite being displayed on the yellow sticker in the driver’s door frame) is an often critical variable that is overlooked.
What's the payload capacity for both? High towing won't matter much when what you tow takes up all of your payload.

Frontier for sure. The Ridgeline will just get you bottomed out in deep sand or mud unless you just want a grocery getter.
