More than enough
It’s usually the controls that are the issue with non supported steam deck games but Starfield is obviously built for game pad so good chance it be ok I would of thought. I’ll wait for someone to try it and post on UA-cam first though lol
@@honeybadger9425most of the "unsupported" steam deck games are playable to the point where they should be labeled as supported..like 85% of them...i've downloaded a bunch of unsupported games which worked fine...whatever was on my steam acc played on the deck with a lil fixings...love playing on da go 😂

Why buy steam deck or other handheld to use cloud? If you’re going to use Cloud, why not use a bigger device like an iPad or any other device that supports Cloud?

Just seems odd to buy a device with onboard capability, only to use cloud.
When cloud can likely be utilized by a device you already own, arguably in a better way.
If you already owned a steam, fair enough. But buying one just to cloud makes no sense in my opinion.
My recommendation would be spend those 100s on an iPad or something with a bigger screen and get a controller to pay with.
@aaronv7820 well here's the thing. The deck is amazing, you sound like you may not own one. 🤔 however, the simplest way would be for you to cloud stream but you could also boot windows OS and play that way if you're technologically inclined, and that's saying if they won't have steam OS support. But I think they will because they will simply make a chunk of profit being that so many deck players are asking for it. Regardless, as Bob has said; it does come down to preference. The deck has great controls right on board with the device without being docked, unlike a touchscreen device. Its ergonomically more comfortable. Quality and performance of ipad/phone docked vs steam decks docking isn't comparable, IMO. But again: "to each their own" 😎👍
@@onelostsheep I’ve owned a deck. And loved gaming on it. But I couldn’t recommend someone buy it for cloud gaming. Especially since if you own a smartphone you can buy a backbone controller and cloud game via your phone for the exact same experience without needing to spend 8x the money for a deck. And sorry, I wholeheartedly disagree the quality and performance isn’t comparable. To cloud stream a game your limited by your internet connection. You could argue that a bigger screen and controller is better than a steam deck. But if you wanted the cheapest most comparable experience, and smart phone + a backbone controller is almost exactly the same for much less money.
I’m purely comparing the use case for streaming only, obviously the ability to use onboard graphics etc is vastly different but we’re only talking about gaming via the cloud which I see barely any benefit getting the steam deck for that.
The Deck is a PC, every Games that come on PC come to Steam Deck, but the Deck is nothing more than a crap Low Powered PC, so it will run Games that can run on comparable HW.
Starfield already struggle on Series S, so on Deck, it will just be a No GO.
Not every game runs on the Steam Deck.
@@BobDuckNWeave Only the ones that come with Anti-Cheat, the others runs, even if they are tagged "Unplayable", and if you install Windows, EVERY GAMES run on it.
@@Zer01neBDTDevExactly the opposite of the truth. Windows has horrible compatibility, and most unsupported games run perfectly fine on Steam OS. Starfield aside at least try to get that much right.
