Nice to see the lady can still boogie. What a beautiful dancer too. Some people miss the simplicity of this synth, it is so easy to get wild and quickly too, without costing an arm an a leg. I love split layering mine, but I only have the 8 voice and will upgrade it soon. Thx for the joy. xD
so sweet..............the perfect balance of texture, space, tone........................and with the effects, the whole thing feels somewhat epic and majestic.....cinematic...........nice playing as well....................
@@ParadiseFound909 i did have the desktop rev2 but returned it and got a p6 desktop instead. not that the rev2 is bad (great synth) its just mine was faulty. and yes desktop modules are the way for most home musicians. love them!
Beautiful sound design. This synth is wonderful, not easy to domain but it can reach really good and playable sounds. I had one, two times... it wasn't for me at that time.... Congrats for the sound and chords.
Six of one, Rev2 of the other...depends what you want. The Rev2 can sound very much like a P6, but can go places the P6 can only dream of. If you want outright pure analogue, and need the status, only the P6 will do, but for me, Rev2 keys paired with an OB-6 desktop and good external effects = not much else needed outside of the digital realm. Slap in an Iridium desktop as well and you have almost every base covered.
@@X22GJP my sound design tutor at uni has a prophet 6 and clearly has a thing against DCO's. He described the rev2 as sounding "shitty". He's a good tutor but i think his judgement has been clouded by a bias to the VCO label. I am planning on making some patches on my new rev2 that will change his opinion on it. Its a beautiful synth that despite the possible lack of raw 'tone' compared to the p6, it more than makes up for in its intuitive complexity :)
Hii please can i know what audio interface are you using? Or in general whats the recording chain? This will be very useful for me! Your stuff is beautiful! Thanks🫠
This damn thing can sound down right orCHESTRAL!!!! It’s definitely on my 2023 Christmas list.

Ah that is a fine and awesome sound !
I think this video has convinced me to get the rev 2 as my first poly synth. Now I just have to save up :')
the bitimbrality looks awesome for my scoring work. beautiful sound btw :)
Get the Desktop version its cheaper and does everything, the synth is cumbersome.

@@ParadiseFound909cumbersome how so? Because I’m really partial to the aesthetic aspect of synths. Maybe you can convince me otherwise.

Holy shit….. epic has a new meaning
Well that was awesome...
The Rev 2 is such a cool synth. Not as bold sounding as the P6 perhaps, but an awesome synth in it's own right :)
