If I created an audio only channel call Dolls in the dark and the line was if I can’t see them, neither can you and I reviewed Dolls based on how they felt do you think anybody would watch it? Lol.
I think that’s a super cool idea! As a seeing person it would be fun to get a different perspective/a review focused on different aspects of a doll, and for anyone else with less or no sight I imagine it would be quite helpful
Omg that would be amazing! I’ve worked with the blind on and off for years and there just aren’t many fun resources that cater to their hobbies. So many people have misconceptions that “blind people can’t enjoy dolls” or other things. But texture and touch sensation in dolls is SO important! I think it would be fascinating and enlightening to hear how you choose your dolls, how you unbox them, how you play with them, etc. I highly encourage you to start a channel and I would love to listen if/when you do!
I honestly love Rosetta, I don’t really mind the glitter legs. The glitter legs & Zoey wearing a Novi Stars shirt makes me think that they might bring it back but we can only hope.
I do like RH dolls, but can't add another doll line to the collection obsession, so I watch reviews and unboxing of them so I can live vicariously. I really love how honest you are about your reactions to the dolls
Ngl, I LOVE them. Idk why everyone is so harsh and rude when they're STILL great quality and just as great as older RH dolls. Not to mention these dolls will ALWAYS be for children!!!! Will be getting ALL of them.
I think people dislike the lost of wrist and now knee articulation. Obviously the knee articulation had to be removed for the gimmick. People object to the pivot away from fashion, more direct marketing to younger kids, and use of ONLY the original face mold. No facial diversity.
@@יעקבמארלי Yep, all of this. I only started liking Rainbow High when they introduced more face types. I was always drawn to the level of articulation and quality of the clothing. Without those things I value, I don't see e need for giving MGA money. Good for them if it makes them money though.
it's because of the lack of wrist articulation and knee articulation with these dolls and they are gearing towards younger kids with the rebrand. It's also disappointing with the fashions and the fact they are taking away what made rainbow high great in the first place

My Rosetta was thinly rooted and had a ton of flyaways throughout her braids. The QC is questionable on this line however from what I've seen with the winter release... These are near perfect because those look a hot mess😂
August is my birth month so i treated myself to Clementine on August 1, and got Rosetta yesterday. I was so torn between the two of them as my favorites, and found myself obsessing over going back to Target and getting that pink queen. I didn't watch any media about them so i didn't even realize the back of her hair was an entire pastel rainbow! Needless to say, I am extremely pleased with both dolls. There are no quality control problems and I think the glitter legs are fun. I even kinda get the surreal contrast of the bright striped shirt and the "Chanel" skirt, like, take that designer copycat RH, we're going off now, rebelling.
I really like the faces on these dolls, they're so cute 😊 I'm not crazy over the legs but as an adult I know I'm not the target audience. I can totally understand why a kid would love them. My overall sadness comes from only having limited color dolls right now. I loved the overall variety RH had by the end ❤
I really think Viola looks so much like Violet, but for some reason I like Viola much more, maybe the clothes/silhouette? Also, I had no idea she came with such cute accessories! I kinda like this doll line more because of all their accessories 😂 I really wish MGA would stop putting so much gel in the hair. I can’t believe Rosetta’s strawberry purse opens!!! Oh no, that rooting 😳 I’m so glad you took off the hoodie to show her shirt, but I think she does look best with the hoodie. This release is perfect as I love these dolls much better than the og Novi Stars. Looking forward to getting Rosetta (which in my mind is Kia Hart).
So I hate the reboot, I hate the new season of the show, I hate all the glitter on the reboot dolls, and I hate some of the reboot dolls. I should hate these, but they look so good I can't. Ok I hate the style on the blue haired one and how her whole everything doesn't match that she's supposed to be a freaking princess in the show, but the other three totally work. At least snow globe legs aren't gross or messy
I don't think there should be any air pockets in the legs...I don't care for that! Truthfully they should have just done resin legs with glitter suspended in them.
Shoes are a little tight but they do come off! The feet are just clear. As for articulation, they can go almost 90 degrees out and forward from the hip but cannot move backward
They are cute, but I think I will pass on them. I was maybe interested in them, but after the review I just don't like the lack of quality and the legs. Some of the accessories are really cute, especially Rosetta's. I have been thinking also of a few of the winter dolls, but I have issues with some things about them too. I watched your Marina and Clementine video first and when you said Rosetta’s rooting was bad, I didn’t expect what you showed. It looks absolutely fine, she’s actually pretty thickly rooted! Do you have a lot of Rainbow high dolls? With dolls with heads this big, they can’t put too many plugs in otherwise the hair is way too thick and heavy. A lot of RH dolls have much less plugs and less dense ones
I have most of the winter waves mermaze and their tails do the snow globe thing much faster than the sparkle and shine dolls, so much so that when I saw them in stores I was disappointed enough that I’m going to wait for a sale. I loveeee the little accessories and the silly clothes, just wish the glitter moved faster 😂
The last one I bought was from Shadow High. I'm disappointed with the direction they took the line. I don't mind though. It gives me more money to buy from other lines 🤷🏽♀️
I really like Rosetta, but I'm not a fan of RH proportions, so if I got her I'd have to make a replica of her head on a different doll brand's mold that doesn't have a giant cranium... Which is a hassle
Clementine spoke to me so I bought her. She is still in the box. The marketing looks very good. I wish that they had given them fantasy skin though. I might buy one from the thrift later to customize the skin color.

Their clothes honestly don't look that bad for restyles, but that's about all that I don't mind about these dolls. Other than that, the gimmick is weird to me, Viola looks like a Violet Clone, and the thinner hair on these dolls is intensely disappointing to me!🖤💜
i can take or leave the comb. im going to use a real comb. I love the Stands and every fastion doll should have a stand. the stand makes it easier for pictures but there easier to display or simply store out of the way oh i don't care about the small accessories but i do like bags and glasses but everything else not as much. but i would very much appreciate a small bag with extra hands and hand signs. if i get a doll from a yard sale and she's missing a hand. That's just too bad. maybe search online
MGA is killing rainbow high they should just either Go back to were they were before or just end the line. I don't think anybody is buying these dolls not Even kids are getting them. Their possible getting monster high

Viola does look so much like Violet, and Rosetta reminds me of Kia Hart - the pink hair and rainbow blend is so similar. Pretty dolls, but I'm probably going to pass on these. Plus, they're harder to get here in Canada. Just one thing - do the shoes come off? Thank you for sharing.

I unboxed a Rosetta literally 5 minutes before watching this review and have the same problem with her hair. She looks bald! Which is really disappointing because otherwise I was really satisfied with the quality and design.
I do think the dolls look fine on their own but this whole gimmick ruins them for me.I'm pretty sure it was inspired by Novi Stars.I think it's cute in theory but it limits the articulation and looks weird.I don't know how the intented target audience will react to this,i think the kids might like it but i'm not fan of it!
I tend to be quite critical towards media so take this with a grain of salt lol, but I could only get through 2-3 episodes before quitting..,and from what I hear it’s gotten weirder
@@ghosty4 there a lot of kid shows mean to sell toys. the 80s and 90s are full of them. Jem and the Holograms is one of my all time favorite cartoons. it's not far from being rockstar Barbie
I did the same thing with my Eliza 😭grabbed her too quick and didn't notice a massive scratch on her leg! but it turned out every doll had the same scratch, and it was probably a manufacturing error.

Maybe I’ve just gotten crazy lucky with my RH dolls? I’ve only had a few be rooted like Rosetta, most all of mine are much thicker idk

Rosetta is just Kia's color scheme with Sunny's personality.

The show solely exists as a commercial for the doll line. There is little to no thought put into it having any depth.
