Man Laz has really come into his own. He is way more comfortable in front of the camera! Its really cool too see how loose he's become since the beginning!
glad to see yall starting to work on it. holding out as long as i can. thats quite a bit of cash to not break 400whp......slowly waiting to find an ecu from a wrecked truck to send in so i can keep my oem!
@@raptor660cc1 the at4’s are sick! But noticeably more expensive for what is arguably the same truck minus some trimmings. I’m just waiting with a burning fire for an rst or trail boss with a 6.2 to show up at the dealer
Love it when you nerd out on the dyno. As an aspiring tuner (not even by choice lol, nobody will touch my car!) I try to soak up as much information as I can.
The 2019+ Sierra is all time favorite truck and I'm not even a pick up truck guy but that girl is gorgeous . Great videos guys I look forward to the builds
Sounds like that would run the truck into the speed limiter. Usually around 100 mph based on the stock tire speed rating. Don't know what the work around is but these guys will figure it out I'm sure.
With this new 2020 could a torque managment issue be cutting timing on ya. You know how these companies have to honor power train warranties. Cut the power down low to keep the punishment off the drive train.
I work at a Chevy dealership and work on these trucks a bunch super cool to see you guys modifying one! Those factory air boxes are such a pain in the ass to take out glad you didn't have too so that.
I love your content brother! you do need advice on audio leveling at the beginning of your vids. you should aim for all audio levels to be at the beginning of the yellow portion of the audio meter...every time I click on your vids I have to adjust the video, only to bring it back up after the music is done. if you need firther help don't hesitate to contact me.
I got to meet George before. He was telling a story of how he was chasing a raccoon around in his underwear and running around his neighbors waving stick.
Turbo is the way to go for the money... superchargers you have to change pulleys and such... with a turbo you can adjust boost with the tune or a controller. To each their own but not bad for a stock truck with a PC kit. It definitely looks good
That's crazy that the 6.2 baseline is only 16 more hp than the 2020 ram 5.7 baseline. Watched a Whipple install on the 2020 ram and after install and tune the ram made 478rwhp with the Whipple and tune alone.
Love when you get into the tuning side of things and would love to learn to use HP tuners I know you may not have the time but can you give us a bit of a rundown on basic tuning on a LS1 with HP?
I'm pretty sure my phone listens to my conversations. Yesterday a 2018 Camaro SS came into our shop with a procharger. I just bought a 2021 Sierra with the 6.2 and since they both use the LT1 block, a guy I work with was talking about putting a procharger on my truck. The next day I get this video in my recommendations... Coincidence?? Nice job on the Silverado! Going to look up part 2 now to see how much power it gains!
Oh Jeremy, keep talking nerdy to me. Lol. Seriously though, I'm a mechanic looking to attempt tuning, and your vids are great inspiration filled with knowledge. Keep up the amazing content.
I sold my own mother an 2020 rst Tahoe with a 6.2 to my mom... does she need the 6.2 rst... no... but When she is done with it I she as hell will be taking that thing and adding power. I’m just thinking the long game.
Is it possible your spark issue is related to the torque limiting tables? Virtual torque. Rear axle torque and such? Ran into a bunch of those issues on my 14 Lt truck.
What degrees of Knock is a yellow flag for you? An area that you may really start to focus on ignition timing. Please add in what fuel your using for that answer. THANKS!! Love the channel!
How much boost can the stock 5.3 or 6.2Liter handle? I am likely going to be getting a 22 or 23 Sierra 1500 with a 6.2L.. or a 2020 f150 with a coyote. The sierra is nicer looking so its my first choice. I already know that coyote can handle some boost. But i have no clue if the 5.3 or 6.2 can handle some boost.
I was halfway paying attention while working on my car during this video so maybe I missed something but that horsepower seems incredibly low, aren't these 420 crank horsepower stock? These Dyno numbers seem stock, not supercharged, unless these trucks have around a 35% drivetrain loss????
Jeremy I know you probably want read this but I recently swaped the cam in my 5.3 silverado with a much more aggresive cam and wanted to upgrade the heads and my question is it worth buying after market heads or just porting and upgrading the stock 243 heads?
Man Laz has really come into his own. He is way more comfortable in front of the camera! Its really cool too see how loose he's become since the beginning!
For sure!
Good to see Georgie back at the shop, so glad you started your channel Jeremy!
Spoke too soon

OH YES... SO SO CLOSE!!
That Procharger sounded nice!
We have a Whipple 2.9 on our 5.3 Silverado...what a game changer 😮
That's a good sized huffer.
Hopefully that motor holds up and it's NOT an early 2000's 5.3L

Running solid for a year-zero issues. Only running 6lbs.
How much did you pay for this Im looking foward to doing this on my 5.3
You heard the man 6.2 with a 10 speed. 😎
Darius Boykin I’ve been trying to buy one for two weeks now. NOBODY. Ordered these trucks with the 6.2 so far /:
My dad bought his 2019 AT4 with the 6.2 new and it wasn't hard to find

Dude. I can totally see how much better Laz is in front of the camera! He worked hard for that and its awesome!!!!

Removing the grille shutters, P059F will definitely come up. P151E will probably come up as well. They shut off easily in HPTuners.
I absolutely loved your "is my hair okay?" You need to do more of that. FOMCL🤣🤣🤣

Excited to see what this thing can make
7th is the closest gear to 1 to 1
Sounds like that would run the truck into the speed limiter. Usually around 100 mph based on the stock tire speed rating. Don't know what the work around is but these guys will figure it out I'm sure.
With the final drive auto's use one can only imagine the tire speed 7th gear would turn lol
It'll end up hitting speed limiter that's why he used 4th
The speed liminter was only a concern on the baseline I believe. I thought he removed the speed limiter after that.
What's the rear gear in one of these if 1:1 is such a high speed?
Love the nerdy stuff and understanding your troubleshooting process. Also love seeing new customer projects. Keep up the great work.
That flexi-boot stuff looks cheese.. this man needs a custom fabricated pipes set-up.
I bought a new procharger kit for my 2004 and was so unimpressed with the radiator hose looking shit for 6500 dollars
Love this channel because it shows a lot of tuning no other channel really explains things like this

That dash looks GAF
Any idea what the 10 speed can handle? Not maybe parts out for it. Only think i see to do is a thermal bypass and converter?
You gotta give that pretty truck some more power! By the way I'm growing me a Jeremy beard now.
Flatspot wouldn’t that be just a beard?
The 2021 yenko Silverado looks sweet I think its 800 hp from factory so think what u could do with it

The whipple 2.9 kit says it will male 730hp at the crank so why so low?
Could you put regular injectors on it to compensate for for when the direct injection runs out of fuel at big power numbers?
