Retired Navy. Lived in both tropical and Arctic. Give me the cold any day. Guess it’s all personal preference. It’s nice to take a break in winter and go somewhere warm, but always good to get back to the north. The only warm place I lived in I loved was Hawaii, always nice, never real humid, but bugs so big they were photo worthy. I think the population density is something you will need to adjust to in warmer regions of the country also..ie I think Florida has 21 million people? I know it’s a huge state but…. Winter does get old, but the change of season is always something to look forward to. 🇺🇸🍺
Now that I'm 55 years old, it can snow on ONE day of the year and I will be happy with that LOL .....otherwise, if temperatures could stay between 60 and 80 degrees that's my comfort window. .... Just wait till you get old you'll have a comfort window as well 😀😄✌ Cheers !!
Hmmm this isn’t an exact science but if I had to guess: Winter from December through end of March Spring lasts April and may Summer weather lasts from June - mid September Fall (which is my favorite) lasts from about mid September through mid November 😊
My Wife and I are moving to this area in the summer and finally took our first visit to Eau Clair! We absolutely loved our visit. The area is stunning and we were impressed with how nice the people are. Looking forward to moving here permanently in July!

Are there many hurricanes or natural disasters in this region?
No hurricanes or earthquakes here haha!
Occasionally we get tornadoes and bad winter storms though.
