I'd love to share the boat with Rick for a day. I've been followed his BASS career since he started. I'm a spinnerbait guy myself. Caught one this year on a spinnerbait that was flirting with 11 lbs. Amazing that hes still competing. I'd guess hes been fishing the Elites longer than anybody as far as I know.

Im not up on what colors work best on spinners for bass. But im awesome on spinners for big 3-5 pound brown trout. Lol

Been bass fishing for 60 years and I hope the days of putting these fish in live wells will come to end.Weighing fish and quick release is the way to go and no matter how hard we try ,keeping bass alive and healthy is hard to do.
Spinner Baits in the spring always
Gene Rosen that spinner bait had a treble hook on it . Haven't seen that before, except rooster tails but I don't think that is what that was.
Gene Rosen that's actually what I thought, just never thought of doing that. Think I'm going to try that in the spring. Always used a strait trailer hook.

Yes. Slow rolling a spinnerbait. Try it at night with a big single colarado blade.

I grew up eating large and small mouth bass. Good eating fish in most lakes. Tell me fellow anglers are bass that big good eating? Would it be muddy? Would brining and smoking work well on a bass that big? Thoughts.....
In a tournament, you get a fish on that size and if the line breaks or it shakes off....that's when I'd go right over the side after it. 😂.
